I am still enjoying this book, but I wanted to go ahead and share some thoughts. This is an excellent companion for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the bible. Mrs. Unice approaches her book in a similar method as I assume she does her seminary students. She mentions teaching seminary in her introduction. But I would like to say, being a seminary student is not necessary for using and understanding the methods she instructs in this book. She gives solid explanations of how to make any passage in the bible easier to understand and to have personal meaning. I am doing it in an accelerated method for the purposes of review, but I would live to have a physical copy after publication to be able to use and annotate. This is a must for new Christian's and seasoned Christians alike. Even pastors and church leaders may benefit.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book. I look forward to purchasing a physical copy.

I purchased the eBook version of Help! My Bible is Alive? When I joined Nicole’s 30  day online challenge. Help! My Bible is Alive? Is more than just a book to be read, it’s a study guide and workbook that teaches the Bible student what Nicole calls the Alive Method of Bible study. The Alive Method of Bible study is a practical approach to reading, interpreting, and then applying the scriptures to the student’s own life.

The Alive Method isn’t original, it’s a retelling of a method that has appeared under many titles. Nicole’s method parallels the method that I learned when taking a college course on critical thinking and in a course that I took with The Dallas Theological Seminary. What is unique about Help! My Bible is Alive? Is that Nicole has explained the process in such a way, using examples from the Holy Scriptures to illustrate what she is teaching, that makes the process enjoyable and easy to understand. Even the less erudite babe in Christ can understand her method, The Alive Method, and apply it to their Bible study, to develop a closer walk with our Lord and Savior.

Help! My Bible is Alive? Is a book that every Child of God, no matter where they are in their walk with God, needs to study. I’ve been walking with God for over forty years have an insatiable hunger for His Words. I’ve taken many formal Bible study courses over the years, but I can say without hesitation that I wish with all my heart that I had a book like Nicoles when I first started out on my walk with the Lord. Having such a book would have made my reading and understanding of the Word so much quicker and easier. Help! My Bible is Alive? Is a book that I will recommend to the members of every Bible study I teach from the day forward.

This is a 30 day, guided study that walks you through how to study the bible for yourself. It covers everything, so whether you've never read the bible before or you keep trying to make it a habit - you'll love it.⁣

I definitely suggest the physical version (vs kindle) for this, so you can work through the prompts right in the book. And there are some cool bonuses in the middle you'll want too!⁣

If this is a book that will have you journaling, highlighting, and taking notes - which is so fun & so helpful in better understanding what you're reading. And you learn to find the principle taught & how to apply it your life.⁣

Seriously - get this book!!

I love this book. As someone who reads the Bible everyday this book was helpful in showing me how to study the Bible. It shows how to apply its principles in your everyday life. How to look deeper into the Bible. It would make a great group study for people wanting to learn together. I found it encouraging and reminding me not to over think my answers to questions and not to be overwhelmed by the information that I was reading. I have already noticed how even in church how I use the Alive Method during sermons. I highly recommend this book.

If you really want to learn how to dig into Scripture and search out life application, this is the book for you. The Alive Method will teach you to deep dive into the Bible (back stories, comparisons, symbolism, etc.) and really digest what you're reading.

The purpose of this book is to bring you to a place where you can truly just study the Bible without needing supplemental reading to make it applicable. It's alive and active!

Great book to help you start or get back to the habit of daily Bible study. Takes 15-20 minutes a day to complete a chapter. Hopefully I can keep the habit up this time because my day felt so much easier when I did this every day. Less stress through out my day, and constantly thinking about the things I had read/studied that morning.

"There is no more valuable way to spend your time than with the one who made time. There is no more important work than working to know the one who made you. And there is no greater direction than intentionally giving God the opportunity to direct your life through his Word."

This is a great tool for everyone who doesn't know how to truly start studying and digging deep in the Bible. It also creates discipline for those who lack in it, too. I recommend it!

This book was read church wide in all the Sunday School classes. I was not my favorite way to do a class study. But I completed the book as written.
