I changed my mind about which book was the best in this series. It's definitely this one. What I liked most was Margo not taking any crap off anyone especially Rourke. She gave as good as she got.
Rourke is part of the Family. Margo is part of another Family but doesn't want to be. She hates the mob life especially since she lost her mother so young. Margo is a paramedic and lives life on her terms. She stays out and the Family business. Rourke secretly wishes he had a choice about joining the Family but he didn't.
This book has a lot of funny times and hot, hot sex. Not any of the nitty gritty raw mob life except for kidnapping... I mean how many times can one person get kidnapped and not learn to keep her mouth shut...lol

When Margo and Rourke are kidnapped by the Milanos, the two bond over their mutual circumstances. Margo thinks Rourke is as much a victim as she. Oh sure, she's pretty sure he's not exactly a saint, being that he's most likely as much a mobster as the men who kidnapped them, but he at least appears to be a stand up guy. Well at least as much of a stand up guy that a mobster can be. But he soon proves her wrong when he holds her hostage at the Connelly family's compound, after they escape the Milanos. Now all Margo has to occupy her mind as she whiles away her captivity, is figuring out a way to escape, and just how much she hates her father and Rourke, and all the criminal men just like them. The kind of men who take innocents like her and drag them into their dirty lifestyle, without so much as a peep of consent.
But Margo's body is a traitorous bitch, and it wants Rourke as much as ever, and it seems to be having its way with her heart, too. Will she allow her heart to sway her head? She knows better than to ever trust the liar that Rourke really is, though, much to Rourke's dismay, his anger.
I think Margo is my favorite KB Winters heroine. She's tough as hell, seriously independent, and so damn street smart and wise. Honestly, I thought she was a million times too good for Rourke, whom I didn't like at all. I hated that she fell for a liar and a criminal, the very same kind of man as her father, the man who got her kidnapped in the first place. But the heart wants what the heart wants, so I guess I can give Rourke a pass, but only because I adored Margo so much. KB Winters never fails to bring the heat and the action in her writing, whether it's her MC series (loved the Reckless Bastards cameos in this one!), her military series, or her mafia series like this one in the Connelly Crime Family series, and As Night Falls has plenty of both, enough to satisfy any romantic suspense lovers out there.

I love the Connelly men! Rourke is a member of the powerful Connelly crime family, and Margo is a paramedic who has nothing to do with her father's criminal business since her mother was murdered. Rourke and Margo are kidnapped by a rival crime family who want a bigger piece of the criminal pie in Rocket. Margo and Rourke are attracted to each other and give into their attraction once they escape their captors. Margo finds herself once again "kidnapped" when Rourke takes her to his family's home and won't let her go. Rourke feels bad for lying to Margo but won't go against his family's orders. Will Margo ever forgive Rourke for betraying her? Will Rourke realize their is more to what he feels for Margo? Margo is one tough, sassy talking woman who can stand up for herself and is the perfect match for Rourke who is the ultimate alpha mob enforcer. I loved As Night Falls by K.B. Winters. All the constant fighting and sniping leads to unbelievably hot sex. As Night Falls is a fantastic book with lots of drama, chemistry, intrigue, danger, and suspense. I would highly recommend getting As Night Falls by K.B. Winters. I received an this ARC from Bad Boy Update, and I am leaving my honest review.

Rourke is a member of the Connelly crime family and Margo is a paramedic. They both find themselves kidnapped by a rival crime family. They work together to escape and Margo thinks she can go back to her normal life. When Rourke's family discovers who Margo's father is they decide not to let her go and Margo finds herself kidnapped again only this time its by Rourke. Rourke feels bad about this but will not go against his families wishes. Margo now finds herself trying to escape another kidnapping.
The chemistry between Rourke and Margo is undeniable by both of them and it was great to see this connect grow as the story goes on. They both go through great lengths to ignore the feelings they have for one another. This is another great story in the series. It is fast paced book with a few surprises that you will enjoy.

Another great addition to this series of Connelly men. Rourke is really a Flannigan but his uncle is the head of the Connelly family, so his life is being in the Irish Mob. When he is taken from those dreaded Milano men he finds himself locked in a warehouse with someone else. Who is this someone? Margo, she is a paramedic and was kidnapped as well. He's determined to find out who she is and why she was taken. Comes to find out that she is Donovan Byrne's daughter, a man who is one of the best money launderers in Rocket. Will they be able to get out of this mess alive, will they be able to trust each other, will this bring them closer together? She never wanted anything to do with this life but will Rourke be able to change her mind?? So many questions that will be answered if you read the book. It's well written and the characters within are very enjoyable just like the other 2 books. Enjoy.

One totally engaging, mesmerizing, enthralling wonder that captures your attention from start to finish. Twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few bumps here and there make for one remarkable experience. Throw in all the drama, intrigue, danger and suspense and you have one page turning bombshell that kicks up the heat and you on a razors edge. The characters are authentic, believable and so realistic it feels like you can just reach out and touch them. The scenes are so graphically detailed it really seals this little treasure together beautifully. You have no trouble picturing each scenario as it plays out perfectly. Remarkable job Winter, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Rourke gets himself kidnapped😁
One things Rourke has always prided himself on is being aware of his surroundings, especially because of the lifestyle him and his cousins lead. When he’s kidnapped and comes to, he doesn’t realise at first, but someone else is in the cell with him! So much for spatial awareness...turns out he’s been kidnapped along with a woman, her name is Margo and she’s a paramedic.
Margo has tried to distance herself from her father, to get away from his lifestyle, but it appears her kidnapping might have to do with him. Now she’s in a cell with another man, who appears to have also been kidnapped. Both don’t trust each other....but in order to survive and get out of this situation, they have to rely on each other❣️
This story was really good and I read it quite quickly. I hope it’s not the last one....I’m hoping Conor gets his own HEA as well😍

Holy smokes this book hits the ground running! It starts off with Rourke waking up in a dark room, after being drugged. He wakes up and there's someone else in the room with him, but it's dark so he can't see exactly. Then he realizes it's a female...a hot one!!
Margo's dad is trouble with a capital T! She's distanced herself from his shady business and was quite proud that she did. However, she finds herself kidnapped and in a dark room, with a gorgeous man that she can't help but drool over. Their first plan of action is to make an escape!
Rourke and Margo have quite the story together! It's hot, it's cold, it's steamy, it's hatred! A quick read because it captivated me from the beginning! Love those Connelly boys!! Great story!!

OMG! I love Rourke's story!! This picks up right at the end of book 2. Rourke is captured, but he isn't alone. There is a feisty red head bound up with him. Margo knows the business her father is in, but has always distanced herself but that doesn't matter any more. Their chemistry is explosive and even though they annoy each other, they can't stay away from each other. Margo trades one "prison' for another when Rourke takes her back to the family house and the fireworks really begin! Can two people thrown together, who get on each others nerves find happiness? Read to find out!!!!

Too many details overlooked
Normally I love this author, and this series was ok, but too many details were overlooked. I read these books in a row, so just finishing Shae's book, it says nothing of Rourke's kidnapping until a day or more after the incident at the strip club, but Rourke's book starts with him being kidnapped at the strip club?? There were also details in the other books that were overlooked and wrong names used, I really think someone needs to be paying more attention to details.

This is the third book in the Connelly Crime Family Series. If you like gangster/mob stories, you'll love this book. Rourke and Margo will set your Kindle on fire. A fine line between hate and lust but their chemistry was explosive. Plenty of drama, suspense and lots of fast-action guaranteed to keep you page turning and wanting more. Strong, well-developed characters and an entertaining story. I read an arc copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Rourke, OMG! He is funny, and definitely one of the Connelly boys. Margo, the daughter of a rival family who wants no part of the life. To come to finding yourself in a dark warehouse and find out that you're not alone, makes for an interesting story. I totally loved reading the give and take between these two. There are also moments to giggle. Give this one a read, and you really won't be disappointed.

This is book 3 in The Connelly Crime Family series and it features Rourke and Margo. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a female lead as much as I enjoyed Margo. She’s so full of piss and vinegar! She’s a petite woman with an awesome smart ass attitude, even if it endangers her life most of the time. I also LOVED seeing Rourke fall hard for the redheaded Irish woman with a temper.
The romance was fast and HOT and the action was the same! I can’t wait for more of The Connelly Crime Family.

This series is fantastic. This is the third book in the series. In this one Rourke and Margo are the main characters and keep you turning pages to see what will happen with these two and at the same time we see other characters from the family and what they are up too which I like. There is plenty of chemistry, action, secrets, betrayals, drama and more. Highly recommend. I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy of the book from the author.

An amazing romantic suspense. This well written storyline was exciting, intense, satisfying, and intriguing with its ups and downs, a supeise ir two kidnapping, and drama. The characters were interesting, well developed, and had great chemistry that was topped off with incredible banter. This faced paced romance had me addicted from the begining to the last word written in my voluntarily ARC. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.

Wow, I just binge read the whole series . While I really enjoyed book one and two this one had me yelling at my kindle!
Margo is tough and sarcastically entertaining. Perfect fit for the Family only because she never wanted to be part of the mob. Rourke is blow away with her stubborn attitude and strength.

Okay so I couldn't wait to find out what happens with Rourke. His adventure begins when he meets Margo in a warehouse. And from then on the fiery redhead had my heart. They had an instant attraction, one of the best love-hate relationships I've ever had seen. This book has a lot of funny one-liners and laughs and a really good story line. This story was up and down for me, I enjoyed the first half then got really over Margo before it picked up again toward the end. She was so angry all the time even I wanted to slap her. After her getting smacked around the head I can't imagine any woman performing her sexual activities.

WOW!! This book is HOT 🔥, HOTTER🔥🔥and SIZZLES 🔥🔥🔥!! Rourke and Margo really set the bar for having the chemistry that everyone dreams about having in their lifetime. Margo is definitely a spitfire and Rourke knows how to push her buttons. There is chemistry, suspenseful situations, betrayal and very intense sexual chemistry that sucks you into the storyline.

Love tbis series! This time we see Rourke, who is the Connelly brother's cousin, and his part in the trouble between the families. Margo is a very feisty redhead who doesn't take anything from anybody. Except Rourke, maybe just a little bit. These two were all fire when they got together. Loved this story!

As Night Falls
Wow, Intense, drama, kidnapping, mob family, who is responsible and how can two people trust each other to get out of a bad situation. Rourke and Margo met in a most unlikely situation, would become allies to a point, yet trust may or may not be an option. This story was intriguing, exciting, loved Rourke and Margo banter back and forth. Great story💖.

KB Winters has done it again.
No only is this a book that’s almost impossible to put down, it is well written, funny, and romantic. I wish there was a Connelly Family member for me. I love KB Winter’s books, they just get better then better until I am thrilled when she has a new release. Thank You KB.

Connellys great better with each book!
I loved this book it was hard hitting with kidnaps, sex, gun fights & love. Margo was taken from her home & held in a warehouse & then Rourke was thrown in with her!

To say Margo is a bitch in this book is an understatement. I had to wonder most of the way through it why Rourke would even want to try. There really had to be some kind of chemistry between them. I did enjoy reading this one.

Rourke finds a himself captive of the Milanos and meets Margo. Margo is the daughter of a job boss. Margo is fiercely independent and distances herself from her father. The story moves quickly with action and steamy scenes.
