"Addictive, obsessive, sexually driven and all consuming; Jimmy’s Game is a book that will dominate your darkest desires of control and power." Maria Davis, a devout Catholic who was raised and lived all her life in a convent was excited when her priest introduced her to a wealthy business man and she was offered the position of becoming his housekeeper. Little did she know money had changed hands for her and the man she was going to work for was the sadistic self-appointed crime boss, Nick Orphanides. Worse still, was when Maria realised the very people she loved and trusted had known the nightmare she was entering? After living with, deprivation and sadism at Nick’s hands for three years; she believed her prayers have finally been answered when Jimmy Dixon wins her in a poker game. Despite Jimmy being one of Nick’s crew, it soon becomes apparent that Nick wants her back and a feud soon develops between the two men. She knows too much, including Nick’s secret links with the Russian Mafia. If Nick can’t buy her back he’ll silence her permanently, along with Jimmy and anyone who stands in his way. Maria finds herself falling for the charms of bad boy Jimmy. However, it isn't long before she realises that he too has a darker side. Karen Clow is passionate about her writing especially her erotic crime books; as they cover topics which we all like to believe don’t happen, when in fact they do on a daily basis. Sex crimes along with women who live in fear of their partners are real. All her work comes from the heart which is reflected in her ability to write in different genres. Her books leave you believing in the topic and wanting to read more. She is fiercely protective over her family and has always endeavoured to have time for them and her writing, so it’s no surprise that she often writes during the night hours. With a genuine love of people and animals, she strives to help everyone in the hope of making their lives better, yet unbeknown to many of them she is also a published poet .

Omg

This was an amazing read. I couldn't put it down. There's so much going on. It's a must-read if you haven't. I don't want to say too much about it as I will give it away. Plenty of action, love, sadness, and happiness all in one.

what a read!

As always with this authors work you know you’re in for a thrill a minute. There were times I could have stuck a knife in Jimmy, he could be so loving one sec and then the next a complete plonker! Maria is going to need the patience of a saint with him. As for Mickey well he’s just a star who realised in time what he had here’s hoping he can behave lol.
Honestly there’s so much happening in this book and boy is it value for money. I’d suggest if you authors like Mandasue Heller, Martina Cole and Jessie Keane shake your tail over to Amazon and treat yourself to one or two of Karen Clows then phone off, chocolate, blanket, cuppa and you’re all set for a great afternoon/evening. 10/10 excellent

I thought the book was going to be more like a Martin's Coke read with the gangs in London. It seemed to focus a lot on Jimmy and Maria's sex life/relationship. Actually found it a bit boring to be fair.

Love this book right from the start. I have since read the whole series. Love that the characters have a connection. you won't be disappointed.
Jimmy is a complex character. He wins Maria from a sadist Nick in a poker game. What happens next keeps you hooked. Great writing.

It's has some fast pace action

Love the beginning storyline , the gangster story, monica who works for the police but helps them.

Don't like domestic abuse. I properly won't read any more as I skip some pages as I feel when Jimmy gets nasty again. Marie will truly be stuck.

Jimmy game

A real good read, though it was wrote as in a third-party telling it. Very little punctuation. A bit too much graphic violence.

I enjoyed this book and the plots etc were good, the sexual banter from the men was fine , however I am not a pude but I felt the sexual content between Jimmy and Maria was on overload, not necessary. The book could have been 100 pages less and more enjoyable.

Jimmys game

This was a really slow paced, too detailed. I got quite bored with it . Jimmy came across as a sex mad control freak. Hope the next in series is better
