This can't be called an Autobiography or a Biography, albeit it is kind of a transcription of series of interviews that one Mr. Shankar conducted through the tours of Mr. Ravishankar. One finds that there is a sense of openness in disclosing the real feelings of this virtuoso. He has basically divided the book into 2 sections :- 1. Raag - All of about music and contemporary & senior musicians of his times
2. Anuraag - Views on non Music. This includes his love life, stormy marriage, spirituality and memories of his Maihar stay.

Overall, a good unpretentious and dignified short version of his grand self.
