Wow !
God is amazing !
Huldah and Mark Buntain have a great story to share. 1954 is when they went to India.
I am very glad that I read this.
At 95 Huldah is still ministering to the poor in Calcutta, India.
I also found a 2019 half-hour interview with her (& her daughter Bonnie Long) online which adds to this book too.

A beautiful testimony of wrestling with God's call on her life and what happened when she fully surrendered.

The journey she takes is amazing. The work of those that feel called to ministry, particularly in locations so far from the comforts we all take for granted. Truly a testament to her Christian faith. The story might offer challenging points for someone outside a strong evangelical faith, and the story is set back in a time of history very different than today, overall interesting & great writing about a very humble woman who has made an incredible difference in India.

There are 2 other books about her life... There is one that is only available through their ministry called "Pathway to the Impossible" and I'd have to say it's the best.

What an interesting story. I'd never heard of the Buntains but was looking for some biographies and thought the time and place of their work would make this an interesting story - and it did. I would have liked to have read a bit more about their experiences in India but even their North American adventures were well relayed and gave a glimpse of a time past and lives well lived.

The story of Huldah Buntain was a great encouragement to me. Her life has touched many in India and around the world. It is a remarkable story of courage, compassion and determination; especially after the death of her husband when she continued on in the work they had started together.
