The Festival is nigh and Goblin Slayer is slaying the ladies with love...even if he doesn't know it.
It is awfully quiet with no goblin quests coming in as the festival is coming to full swing and while others make merriment and floating lanterns Goblin Slayer prepares in case goblins are biding their time to cause havoc at the festival. What he doesn't know is there is another menace skulking in the shadows that will require him to diversify his view on prey before the volume is through.
In the mean time Goblin Slayer has a date with the Guild Girl in the afternoon and is taking in the festival with Cow Girl in the morning giving GS some time to contemplate things and share some moments with those that he has become friends and acquaintances with since he became an adventurer. If you don't mind the violence and sometimes fanservice I would suggest checking out how GS handles downtime in this volume. :)

Very nice volume.
This was a lay-back one, there's a festival in town and everybody is getting ready for it. Even Goblin Slayer who, in my opinion, is playing a dangerous game with the girs hahaha. I know he didn't do it on purpose but still, dangerous.
There was almost no violence in this volume except for the end and, WHO THE HELL IS THAT??? I'm very intrigued because are new enemy seems to know who Goblin Slayer is and the things he did. Poor guy, it's sad to know that our hero can't even take a day off.
Overall, a nice and sweet volume, very different from what we were used to but if the story is interesting, i don't mind to take a little rest from all the violence.

Another great manga edition to be enjoyed.
This edition accompanies the light story and covers the festival of the local town and the strange occurrance of having a day off for Goblin Slayer. A rather amusing scene taken from the light novel was female armour in fantasy and the practical observation that goes with it. It made for a nice highlight. As well as the cameo appearance of the party of heroes who are destined to save the world.
Having read the light novel I know the story that will be covered in the next manga adapation and have seen how this volume prepares the reader for the next stage in the adventures of Goblin Slayer and his friends. It is a nice reminder that despite everything life does go on.
A must have for fans of the series.

Eh niente, il nostro Goblin Slayer fa proprio strage di cuori!
La giornata dedicata alla Festa autunnale del raccolto sarà l'occasione per fare esperienze diverse per il nostro protagonista, che non sa nemmeno cosa sia una vacanza e che difficilmente riesce a non pensare ai goblin per più di due minuti. Eppure la lista di persone, soprattutto di sesso femminile, che vorrebbe passare del tempo con lui non è poi così corta...certo, poi bisogna vedere se lui ha ben capito i sentimenti e le aspirazioni di queste poverine oppure no. La mattina sarà passata in compagnia dell'amica d'infanzia (che riesce pure a farsi mettere un anello al dito...non che lui abbia compreso il motivo dell'entusiasmo per questo gesto), mentre il pomeriggio sarà dedicato alla receptionist della Gilda.
Devo dire che la cosa più interessante di questi ultimi volumi è proprio la crescita, lenta ma costante, che sta attraversando il personaggio di Goblin Slayer - delle piccole aperture nei confronti degli altri, una maggiore capacità di interazione (anche se c'è ancora molto da fare da questo punto di vista). Non è la persona più socievole in circolazione, ma ha saputo creare dei rapporti senza nemmeno rendersene conto: diverse persone si sono affezionate a lui, vogliono condividere la sua missione e aiutarlo a prendersi cura di se stesso, hanno iniziato ad apprezzare il suo senso del dovere e il suo modo di fare particolare. D'altro canto, anche lui, con i suoi modi e con i suoi tempi, sta imparando ad accettare la compagnia degli altri, senza dover agire per forza da solo.
Ovviamente, in questo manga i momenti di pace non durano a lungo. Vediamo questa volta da dove spuntano i goblin schifosi.

I really enjoyed the festival scenes, but of course action is never very far with Goblin Slayer and soon it was back into the fray! I'm not sure about the sister arc, don't really get what she wants, but the scenes with the Receptionist and the Priestess at the festival were so much fun and the art was so beautiful! I can't wait to read more, hope it's published soon.

It was nice to see all the action take a back seat for a while and focus on some more character development between Goblin Slayer and several other characters, while also showing off that other things do happen in the world other then completing quests by slaying goblins.

Fabuła Goblin Slayer #7 znacząco odbiega od tego, do czego przyzwyczajeni byli fani cyklu. W tomiku nie znajdziemy niebezpiecznych zielonych stworów, krew nie leje się tutaj strumieniami, a główny bohater daje wytchnąć swojemu orężu. Zamiast widowiskowej akcji czytelnik ma okazję obserwować jego codzienne rytuały i ciągłe doskonalenie nabytych umiejętności. Jest to jednak zaledwie wstęp do właściwej historii. Skupia się ona na dwóch zaplanowanych spotkaniach z kobietami, które od dłuższego czasu mocno go kokietują (czego oczywiście nie jest kompletnie świadomy). „Pan Zabójczyk” spędzający wolny czas w towarzystwie pięknych niewiast to pewien powiew „zwyczajności” i „świeżości” dla serii. Skupienie się na romansowym wątku, pozwala odrobinę odpocząć od akcji i tym samym dobrze przygotować fana na kolejną dawkę widowiskowości. Takie zwolnienie tempa fabuły, doskonale sprawdza się również w ukazaniu ewolucji głównego bohatera. Szczególnie jego zdolności nawiązywania towarzyskich relacji z innymi osobami. Całość jest oczywiście podana w lekkiej formie, doprawionej szczyptą przyjemnego humoru (tym razem bez natarczywego fanserwisu).
Zmiana formy historii to również pewne zauważalne przemiany warstwy rysunkowej. Artysta tym razem nie musząc się głównie skupiać na dynamice starć, pozwolił sobie na lepsze i bardziej wyraziste nakreślenie postaci (szczególnie kobiecych). Kolejne kadry są ładne i potrafią przykuć uwagę. Niczego złego nie można również napisać na temat rodzimego wydania. W Goblin Slayer #7 podobnie jak wcześniejszych częściach znajdziemy dobre tłumaczenie i świetną jakość druku. Ponadto kilka kolorowych stron, oraz dodatki w postaci krótkich komiksów na oprawie i opowiadanie na końcu mangi.

Goblin Slayer takes on his most difficult quest yet... back-to-back dates with two different women on the same day! While the rest of the town make floating lanterns, rustle up fancy clothes, and train dancing skills for the big festival, Orcbolg sharpens stakes and lays out traps, sure that a goblin invasion is afoot. Goblin activity is just too low for them not to be planning something. And, too low for this volume to be interesting. It’s hard to tell there’s much of a festival from the art. Mangaka Kousuke Kurose draws too many big panels of nothing and the fan service is, as usual, unnecessary for the story. Not the best volume of the series.

This volume lacked the intense action of previous volumes but it made up for it with some great character moments. Especially showing the connection Goblin Slayer has between Guild Girl and Cow Girl. This installment helps to remind the reader the series has more to offer the reader than just insane action.

Pues no sé, han querido hacer un descanso del ritmo de acción habitual y les ha quedado un tomo poco aprovechado. Era el momento de ahondar en la psique de los personajes y en sus relaciones interpersonales, y el resultado ha sido light y soso.
