I'm writing this book review in honor of my lifelong friend, Eda Warren.
"Lifelong" meaning: ever since we met at college, Brandeis University, class of '69.
Although I haven't finished or even started this particular book, I did talk to Eda about it... while she was writing it. She was always so service-oriented in her teaching and writing, as the Mother of Desktop Publishing in Chicago. And beyond!
As a friend, Eda was fun-loving and funny. But when she worked as a cover designer or graphic designer, or as a writer, how she could focus!
Today my brainy friend passed on, just weeks short of turning 76. Uniquely delightful, Eda Warren will surely be missed, and not only by me.
