Another look into this young families day to day life. The family go to the supermarket for their food shop along with their dog who waits outside, and by the look on the dogs face you can tell he thought something else was was going to happen. Mum gets lots of help around the shop, dog does not want to get back into the car, and they all go home again.

The drawings aren't quite as good as others in the series but this book was still a favourite when my children were small.

My daughter loves these books and this is no different. Love the 'realness' of it!

I liked this book, especially the dog, and am surprised that I'd not come across it before. Why though, would a family take their dog shopping with them?
