This is a lesson Wyatt has learned the hard way. After pissing off his would-be mate and picking a fight-and losing-to his friend and mentor, Wyatt takes off. He throws himself into his mission, running between the many lupine packs scattered through the States, solving problems and offering assistance where he can.
But he keeps going back to where it all went wrong. A little city where he found his true self, and hated what was revealed. Except now, every time he visits he's drawn closer to the charms of a human woman named Nancy.
She's everything he doesn't need. I mean hell, she's human. He needs a spirited wolf to keep him interested. She's just a bookkeeper who likes museums and art.

After angering a potential mate and losing a fight to a friend, Wyatt left his pack. He was was beginning to learn the truth that wolves were not meant to be alone. He was a runner for the pack, sent to solve problems for the other packs, and it gave him a reason to leave. Reid, his pack’s alpha, was trying to convince him to return to the pack after each mission, as the others did, but Wyatt just wasn’t ready for that. It was starting to feel like a soul-sickness inside him, an empty ache from going too long without any connections to his own kind. Yet he wanted to heal alone and would not accept help.
One of Wyatt’s pack members, Mija, had a human friend and Wyatt would check in with her on Miha’s behalf since it was getting uncomfortable for Mija to travel. Nancy was one of the few humans he didn’t mind being around. She never wore perfumes, so he could relax near her. He spotted her having a coffee drink at an outside table and, for some reason, felt his body react to her when she licked her lips! When she licked the whipped cream off her straw, he actually growled! Maybe he should skip this visit? When she saw him, she got up to hug him and he found himself hugging her back – and even spinning her around as he forced himself not to breathe in the scent of her hair! He had noticed her initial panic and asked who she had thought he was. She told him she had thought he was Brent, her ex whom she couldn’t seem to give up permanently. As he started to comment, she jumped up in anger and told him it was none of his business – then she stormed away. All he had meant was to protect her if she needed him. He smelled salt in the air and realized he had made her cry.
Wyatt followed her home to apologize. She stepped out of her door to talk and, when she didn’t immediately accept any form of his apologies, he told her she was a hard-ass today! She smiled at last and he invited her to dinner to make up for his rudeness. He had her try beer which she told him didn’t make a good apology dinner and threatened that if her steak was frozen in the middle, she would never speak to him again. He noticed a man staring at them from the window of the restaurant but, when he stared back, the guy moved on.
I really enjoyed this book as the author took us along on a slow, leisurely process of two lonely people who are falling in love. With Wyatt’s strong feelings that a wolf cannot have a relationship with a human, will he open his heart and let the love happen? Will Brent interfere and try to keep Nancy for himself, no matter what? The dialog is so good between the characters, feeling so natural and fun. Wyatt’s pointing out that a rabbit sculpture in the art museum was actually a real rabbit – then not being able to say why he knew this – was one of many awkward situations he gets himself into. The book is really delightful with a wonderful story line! Grab a copy and see what you’re missing and whether the two of them can navigate the difficulties they may have to face!
Wyatt is a wolf who is looking to find himself and gets away from his pack for a few to do so. He periodically checks on a family friend when he goes out to make sure she is doing well. Well this one time that he decides to check on her, there is something different about this visit. His feelings and urges become more than he expected them to be once he was around her. He would remember little details about her, such as how she smelled little things like what she likes and her predictable habits. The only thing wrong with all that he is feeling, this woman is a human. He never thought that he could feel this way about a human, but he realizes that he can’t be without her. He does what he has to in order to keep her away from him but she doesn’t give in to that. Nancy, a human that enjoys her visits with Wyatt when he comes through town. It’s been a couple months since they first met, but she feels something there as they get to know each other a bit. As she is telling him a bit about how she’s been, he brings up the subject of her ex and she gets mad. He tries to apologize for his actions, but it’s takes a little more convincing lol. They get past all the uneasiness of their earlier conversation, and go out and enjoy food and a night out. Nancy’s ex shows up and they have words. Wyatt intervened and things get physical, it is then that her suspicions are noticed. He disclosed a bit of information to her after she shows up to question him about it. Not wanting to leave, Wyatt had to return to his pack but Nancy does not like this as they have expressed each other’s feelings. Time passes and he was noticeably changed than the person he was before. Nancy arrives and much his happiness, they have each other now and he feels a little uneasy in the back of his mind about things. But they get their HEA and they both couldn’t be more happier.

This is book 3 to the Night Wolves and I absolutely loved it, fantastic story about Wyatt and Nancy and I enjoyed it immensely. Wyatt has been asked to check in on Nancy by Mija who is a part of Wyatt’s pack, Mija and Nancy became good friends so Mija wants Wyatt to check in on Nancy because she is having trouble with a ex boyfriend. The two become good friends but things become more but Wyatt can’t believe that he has fallen for a human it’s against his packs laws but he just can’t help himself he has to keep going to see her. This is a very emotional story this couple has their ups and downs and ins and outs but will Nancy be accepted in to Wyatt’s pack or will Wyatt turn his back on his pack or on Nancy?. Fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Night Surrender is a tale about two insecure and lonely people, a wolf shifter and a human. Nancy befriended and helped Mija, a member of Wyatt's clan and Wyatt stops by as a favor to Mija to check on Nancy who is having a problem with an ex-boyfriend. While helping her out, Wyatt and Nancy fall in love. But Wyatt believes that a relationship between a wolf and a human will not be allowed in his clan. I got sucked into the world of the wolf clan, their rules and trials, and tribulations. The characters are loveable and intense. There is joy and sadness in this story and very hot chemistry between the characters. You will fall in love with Nancy and Wyatt the way I did.

This was another great story by Godiva Glenn. I love reading anything by this author. I couldn’t put this down.
Wyatt is looking to find himself after a poor decision with some packmates. While visiting the place where it went wrong, he starts something with Nancy. She is a human who was friends with a lupine for years. When her ex-boyfriend won’t leave her alone, he steps in to protest her. They get even closer together. Will they be able to make something work?

Insecurity and loneliness and trying to solve problems isn’t easy. This is a interesting storyline and well written. Something you can relate to where they have been and where they would like to be with their relationship.
Something a bit different adding in the lupine element as well as the shifter. A sweet story of overcoming difference as well as being OTT hot, hard and heavy between them.

A Delightful Story! Loved this third story in the author’s Night Wolves series. There’s lots of twists and turns as the loner, Wyatt, comes to grips with wanting to be closer to his pack and desiring a human for his mate and having to protect her from her dangerous ex-boyfriend. The suspense will keep you glued to the story—not wanting to put it down for even a minute. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love the two characters of this story. One human and the other a wolf. How their relationship starts and builds. There is no fates mate and instant lust in this one. This more of friends becoming more. Of course the whole wolf secret may end things before they get started. And one wolf needs to get his head on straight too.
I enjoyed reading this book about Wyatt! I kind of knew where this book was heading with Wyatt and Nancy! I'm glad I was right! Although, I didn't see Wyatt and Charlotte as good mates, from book 1, and I wondered how Nancy would work out after Charlotte's account of their sexual encounter. I loved Nancy's personality and how she stood up for herself! I think everyone will enjoy reading this paranormal read. I definitely recommend it to others!
