Aubrey and Luke met and had a glorious weekend two years ago and haven't been in contact since then. He'd been deployed and she's gone home to San Francisco. They see each other again at a party she has been required to go to by her father to meet a possible mate. It seems all the unmated Berserkers who are children of Alphas were required to attend. Aubrey is not happy being forced to attend and is even more unhappy when she sees a drunk Luke with a skinny blond hanging all over him.
I really disliked Aubrey's father. Her mother was a little bit better but went along with her dad. Luke was a great guy and only wanted to be with Aubrey. He did though have some issues from his years in the military. Aubrey had some baggage and she didn't want to get together with Luke partially because they were both required to mate.
I enjoyed their journey to a HEA although I would have liked there to be some way they could get back at her dad and the other Alphas.

Hot, hot, hot
Amazingly hot BBW romance. Finally a character who "looks" like me. Love the sifters especially Like and Aubry. Can't wait to read more in the series.
