If you have been watching the new york knicks game, then I'm sure you know who Carmelo Anthony as. This book is a non-fiction book that lets you into the life of Carmelo Anthony. Before everything happened in the knicks, you should know where he'd came from. From leading his Divison 1 team in Syracuse all the way to the top, he was also a key part of the Denver Nuggets a couple years back.
I recommend this book to every avid basketball fan out there. It shows a story of a young man that started from nothing and became everything. This book was interesting and it wasn't hard to read. If you love watching basketball or is a big fan of Carmelo Anthony, this book is for you
I like the way Carmelo Anthony decided to write his own book about him self. When Carmelo was a little kid he describe how he felt growing up in the streets of brooklyn and Baltimore. I like the way Melo tells the truth about how he did in school.
I did not know Carmelo got drafted in the NBA basketball in the year of 2003. I did not know Carmelo anthony went to the Syracuse University.
I learned that even if you don't do good you could always get back on track like Carmelo Anthony did in high school.
I did like the fact when Melo said that he got rob at the age of 7 for his necklace that his father gave him.
This autobiography explained the life and rising of basketball great Carmelo Anthony. The book was laid out in chronological order of his life with Carmelo speaking to the reader. He, along with Greg Brown, wrote the book with the perspective of a first person narrative that explains the story from Carmelo himself. All the images throughout the entire book are real images taken of Carmelo throughout his life. The book is good for children to experience a nonfiction picture book that tells the story of a man’s life from his own words.
I absolutely loved this book. It has all the good qualities in a book. Sports, sports, sports, and yea sports. Carmelo Anthony may be my top 10 favorite player and this book has a lot to do with that. It tells a biography of his life and how he became a star. Though I respect him much more as a Denver Nugget, he's representing our crappy New York uniform. It tells about the origin of his number and everything he plays for, and it really gives me an inspiration after reading this.
