Okay, so even though I already was expecting a great read, it still surprised me because it was a REALLY REALLY REALLY ENJOYABLE read. Damn!! I finished it in one sitting, late into the night. Just couldn’t stop reading!! 

I’m just so insanely happy that I got the chance to read an arc of this book, thanks to Megan Green. I’ve been reading her books for some time now and I love her writing so so much. Alexandra Bishop was a new to me author and I’m happy to say I’m hooked to her writing as well after reading this book.

This story turned out to be everything I was hoping to get when starting this book; banter and sass, a smoldering hot romance, humor and addictive writing wrapped up into a really fun story line with a fantastic set of characters. 

"Snapping my gaze up to where my brother and the woman stand in front of me, I'm met with a set of familiar dark eyes, the deep brown pools boring into mine as her mouth hangs open. I can see the fear, the confusion, the complete and utter shock in them as soon as my own eyes lock with them. Because whatever I'm seeing, I'm sure she's seeing reflected back at her tenfold. This isn't the first time I've seen these eyes. This isn't the first time I've laid eyes on this woman. And this definitely isn't the first time I've heard a gasp escape her lips. Though the last time I heard it was under very different circumstances, with my cock buried to the hilt in her tight pussy as her nails dug into my shoulders as she came. Monroe Daniels, the newest employee of BrookStone Partners, is none other than my little vixen from the club last night. I see the words flash behind her eyes at the same time they run through my mind. We are so fucked."

Barrett and Monroe are just such fun characters to read about. And I always love it when I get to read both POV’s in contemporary romance, so that’s a plus as well. I love how strong Monroe is for example, how she became one of the best in her field of work where woman normally aren’t always accepted much; construction work. So this girl knows how to stand her ground,. And at the same time, she still has a softer side that comes out every now and then. I can’t say anything other than that she was just a really awesome character to read about.

Barrett was the perfect counter character to Monroe. The moment these two start their prank-war, they both go all out and it was so much FUN!!! I loved how he reacted to her in every way, all the time. I loved how he had his flaws but how perfect he was overall. He had my heart do funny things in my chest the entire time - sigh.

"Monroe Daniels has turned my damn world on its axis,
and regardless of how wrong I know it is, I can't bring myself to care.
Because nothing has ever felt this good before. This right. 

Then there are some really interesting and fun minor characters who’ll return in next books - couldn’t be happier about them all. They were really great additions to the story, however small their presence was sometimes. I love it when the main characters are well written, but I think the minor characters are so important as well and both authors did an amazing job on them all.

𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚒𝚜 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎!

The romance was so frigging perfect! It was a great combination of best friend romance and boss/employee romance. I love how intense it was right from the start - I really love it when two people have such amazing chemistry right from the start and in this case the insta-lust was so perfectly written down in my opinion. I love how hot and bothered this romance started out, but then simmered down to a steady flame that got the chance to develop into something more and something special, something steadfast. I love how this romance turned into everything I’d want in a romance; it has the best sass and banter between the characters (humor is so important in a relationship in my opinion), it got the right amount of time to develop into a really beautiful and steadfast romance, it was sweet and swoon worthy and it was frigging sexy and intense… It really was everything I could’ve wished for.



I don’t think I really have any remarks to make other than that I haven’t gotten enough of these characters yet: I want more! 

This book was just so much fun to read! The writing was really good; it was enthralling and addictive. The characters and their development were really well written down. There’s an amazing set of minor characters present as well who complement the entire story in the best way. It's laugh out loud funny, sexy, intense and adorable. All of the romance elements you could want for are wrapped into a story that's so perfectly well balanced out.

I really couldn’t get enough of it. I want more more more. And thankfully we’ll be getting just that! The set up for the next book, about Benton and Scarlett, is looking so promising - I’M SO EXCITED!

Barrett and Monroe first met when she was in town to start a new job. They had a discreet encounter in a bar bathroom and thought that was going to be it. When she meets up with Benton, she sees Barrett again and finds out that her one night stand is her best friend’s brother and her new boss. This book will have you laughing and yearning for the next book. It was a quick fun read and you won’t be disappointed when you pick it up.

Hysterical and hot at the same time, Caulk Tease starts off with a bang and keeps up the pace throughout the whole book. The story follows Monroe, a female construction foreman (forewoman?) who has accepted a job working for an old friend in her hometown. She heads to a bar the night before starting her new job and meets Barrett, with whom she has instant chemistry. One thing leads to another and they wind up banging in the bar bathroom before exchanging names. When Monroe shows up at her new job the next day, she discovers that the man she slept with is none other than her friend’s brother... and one of her new bosses. Somehow they find themselves in a prank war, arguing all of the time and secretly struggling with their attraction to each other.

It’s completely entertaining, funny and sexy all at once. I loved both Barrett and Monroe - they definitely felt a connection from the start but found themselves fighting it (and each other) because they were scared of the consequences. Their relationship may start off leading with sex, but that doesn’t mean that’s all there is between them. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series - Barrett’s brother Benton is a loveable goof who may be a total player, but he clearly has a heart of gold.

First of all, this title is amazeballs! 😂🤣 How can you not want to pick it up just for that alone?!!!!

Monroe is back in a town she didn't think she would ever return to, but when her best friend needs her, she heads back. She works in a mainly male dominant field, and she kicks butt at it. But her first night there before she reports to work, she has a one night stand with a gentleman. Not exchanging names etc, they both are surprised when they both are at a loss for words when he is none other than her best friends brother and a partner in the company she is working for. Barrett is taken aback, but there is a draw to Monroe he can't ignore.

This story had some funny, laugh out loud moments, swoony sweetness, fun supporting characters, just a fun easy sweet steamy read. Their attraction is undeniable. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for Benton and Ash's story. I'm already giddy thinking about it!!!

Megan and Alexandria wrote this story and it flowed seamlessly. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Laugh out loud hilarious!!!

OMG, this story is absolutely hilarious and super sweet too. When I first started reading this I was sure it was going to be another sweet contemporary romance that has to stay hidden from the best friend. What I didn't expect was all the hilarious stuff going on between Monroe and Barrett. These two take their pranks seriously and I enjoyed that very much. Monroe came back to town to work for her best friend and ends up having a one night stand with Barrett. She finds out the next day that Barrett is one of her other bosses and her best friend's brother, whoops!!! Grab this wonderful book today. It's a great read and I highly recommend it. I'm also looking forward to Benton's story.

When these two writers teamed up for what I can only hope is going to be a brilliant series, the sparks of steam and wit flew! Megan Green and Alexandria Bishop have created the perfect equation for love. Their characters, Barrett and Monroe have such amazing chemistry. Monroe has come from the "ashes of tragedy" to become an excellent female contractor. Barrett has come from a family of privilege but also support and love. He has joined with his brother, Benton and his best friend, Ashley to launch their own construction company. They are a few weeks into their most important project, City Hall, when they realize they need HELP!! Benton calls his best friend, Monroe because he knows she can get the job done. When Benton introduces Monroe to his partners, the dance begins between Barrett and Monroe. They seem to walk the line between love and hate. It is one of the wittiest stories I have read this year. I am looking forward to more from these authors and the stories of the other characters who need their own HEA.

Amazing!

This was such a fun and exciting read. It had a little bit of everything and wasn't overly heavy on the dramatics! The storyline was So So good! Wow I loved the chemistry between Monroe and Barrett! Plus Benton was an awesome side character who I cannot wait to read about! I need more now!

A good tease is a hard thing to get over.............

Caulk Tease by Alexandria Bishop is a witty and hilarious story about a woman who knows her way around a construction site and a man who can't get her off his mind after one night and then an unexpected morning. Barrett and Monroe are funny as they banter back and forth, each giving as good as they are getting. The pendulum swings from one side to the other and back again between set the sheets on fire to kill each other (not literally of course).

Caulk Tease is a definite page turner as you just can't put it down until the end. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that loves a good romantic comedy.

Caulk Tease will have you hot and bothered one second and busting your gut laughing the next. I had such a good time reading this! Monroe and Barrett have the quirkiest relationship. One night stand to prank war to friends with benefits to possibly more.

Monroe has had a shit lot in life. She doesn't let that get her down though. She busts ass at construction and shows those men women can do it too. Barrett has had a charmed life. He doesn't use that though, he busts his ass making sure his company he co-owns with his brother and best friend stays afloat. Monroe walks into his life and his construction site and all hell breaks loose.

The swoon factor is at an all time high, mix that with the "you're an idiot when you open your mouth Barrett" factor and it makes for some great reading. Loved Caulk Tease and definitely need more!

This was my first book by this author, but definitely will not be the last. This book was hilarious, I was getting funny looks from people when I laughed out loud while sat on the bus!! I love the banter between Monroe and Barrett. Would definitely recommend this book. Would love also to read about the secondary characters from this book.

Monroe and Barrett burned up the pages of this book and were hot from the moment they met. I really enjoyed their story a lot. When they were pulling practical jokes on each other, I was laughing out loud at their antics. Monroe is my hero and I loved how tough she was. I loved that she didn't take any sh*t from anyone, Barrett included. She knew what she wanted most of the time and she went after it. I admired that about her. It took longer for me to warm up to Barrett since he could be a real prick sometimes and he had a habit of speaking before thinking and it got him in trouble on more than one occasion. But it was clear that he had a big heart and was a good man. He did care for Monroe and sometimes the way he behaved stemmed from fear or not knowing any other way to react to the situation. Even though that's true he still wasn't my favorite person in this book. But Barrett and Monroe were amazing together when they weren't fighting or trying to have the upper hand in their relationship. That dressing room scene was one of the hottest I've ever read. I really liked Benton a lot. He was a solid friend and brother. He was very sweet and funny. I liked Scarlett too and Ash. I wish I could have seen more of Ash but I have a feeling he'll get his own book eventually. I cannot wait to read Caulk Rob! I am super excited and I am so glad I was able to get a copy of this book from the authors.

If you want a fantastic rom-com…here ya go! Caulk Tease, written by authors Alexandria Bishop and Megan Green, had me laughing so hard! It is hilarious, steamy, sexy, and full of banter! The wasabi!!! OH MY GOD!!!! I had tears!!! This is such an amazing book!!! The story line is unique-ish and the way it is written and flows is sooooo good!!!

Small summary:
After a super-hot one night stand with a stranger, Monroe arrives to her new job and meets one of her new bosses…Mr. One-night stand, Barrett.

“This can’t be happening.”

Barrett doesn’t really care for the whole “hot chick being a foreman” thing…but Monroe doesn’t care! Barrett fights dirty…but Monroe can keep up with the best of them!

“That’s when I see it. In large block letters, written in what looks like white chalk…”

My opinion:
The characters in this book are perfect! Monroe and Barrett (of course), but Benton, Ash, and Scarlett add so much to this (Benton is actually Monroe’s friend who got her there!)…I don’t know what else to say except…this is one book that you DEFINITELY need to read! I enjoyed the hell out of EVERYTHING about this book! 5 STARS!!!!

Barrett & Monroe are quite the pair and this delightful rom-com is just what you need to just enjoy a book. Not think about life. Not examine the hard questions. Just enjoy a couple finding their way through life and into each other’s arms - despite how hard they might try to stay out of each other’s arms!

I enjoyed this story greatly. I loved that Barrett changed so much of who he was when he met Monroe. I love that Monroe wasn’t scared to be a woman in a man’s world. The story was sassy, fun, and romantic. Everything I enjoy when looking for the perfect book escape!

I also really enjoyed the secondary characters - Benton, Barrett’s brother and Monroe’s best friend; Ash, the business partner and Barrett’s best friend forever; and Scarlett, the bartender who becomes Monroe’s bestie, too. It’s just a great story with so much fun and chemistry, I highly recommend that everyone give it a go!!!

Very good romance mixing humor and discovery of the other
I loved the beginning which is torrid, and that makes exciting this romance from the first pages. The rest of the story has funny parts with characters who hate each other after having slept together without knowing each other, and make pranks to have their revenge, while they discover each other.
The story is pleasant to read, very well written, and once started, I could not let go of the story, which is partly simple. It's really the interactions between the characters, their dialogues, that hold the whole story.
Monroe has sex the bathroom of a bar, with a stranger who turns out to be the brother of her best friend for whom she will work. It was supposed to be a story of a few minutes, but it gets complicated very quickly for her. When they meet again, they ignore each other, argue, make jokes to get revenge for their arguments. Yet, there is still this part of attraction that linked them the first night.

Megan Green and Alexandria Bishop are two of my favorite authors. When I heard they were teaming up to write a RomCom, I was there for it. Here for it? Whatever. I was excited as hell.

Caulk Tease is hilariously sexy. We've got a badass heroine and a hero that'll make you weak in the knees. And to top it off, we're talking BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND. Or is it best friend's brother? Who cares. It's amazing.

Monroe Daniels has some secrets, and she's had a rough life. She doesn't trust easily, and she certainly doesn't fall in love. Barrett Brooks is a hard worker who will do anything to save the business he runs with his younger brother, Benton, and his best friend, Ash Stone. When Brookstone Partners, the real estate/construction company they run together, is on the brink of falling apart, Barrett heads to the bar for a drink or two, while Benton decides to hire a new foreman. Barrett get a whole lot more than he bargained for, at the bar and at the company.

Caulk Tease is full of humor, steamy sexy times that had me clutching my nonexistent pearls, and a whole lotta heart. I absolutely loved how flawlessly the story flowed between the chapters. As a super fan of both authors, I coukd tell who wrote which character, and that's something I loved as well.

I can't wait to read the next story these two will have for us. Especially leaving us on one hell of a cliffhanger.

She is a construction foreman who forging her way through a male dominated field so when Benton, her best friend who owns a construction company, asks for help to complete one of their jobs she is happy to assist.

The night before Monroe is scheduled to start her new job she meets a stranger at the bar and they have a steamy encounter however the joke is on her when she shows up to work and not only is Barrett her new boss but he is also her best friend’s brother. Let the fun begin!

Monroe is fiery, feisty and doesn’t back down from any challenge while Barrett is focused on ensuring the success of their business but Monroe raises feelings in him which he has never felt before. Hot chemistry and humorous banter make the perfect combination as two people who aren’t looking for love or a relationship find what they have always wanted in each other.

But if you think a man who happened to give Monroe the best sex of her life is going to keep her from getting the job done you can think again.
She's the best construction worker he's ever seen, she can run a job better than most men even if Barrett doesn't think she belongs there. He thinks she's a distraction, when in truth she's really only a distraction to him.
Caulk tease is freaking adorable, and I don't mean that in a completely cutesy way, it's hilarious and sexy and I absolutely adored it.
Fun read, lighter than I'd been reading and just what I needed. This was my first book by the author but it won't be my last.

Monroe has had a really hard life. Anyone that she has cared about has left her and she relies only on herself. The only contact that she still has is her old friend from school that offers her a job on a construction site- because she is the best.

Barrett is the epidomy of a stick in the mud. He does not really get around too often or have fun and is extremely serious. When he has immediate attraction to a spitfire, he learns she is not only his brothers friend but also his employee--- oh no!

The interactions between Monroe and Barrett range from CRAZY sexual tension to just plan crazy to HOT to absolutely sweet and downright swoon worthy. These are two people that are completely opposite for each other but also oh so right.

Caulk Tease was awesome! It didn’t just tease me, it totally pleased me. (See what I did there? Haha!) From start to finish I loved everything about Barrett and Moore’s adorable story. This romcom has it all from laugh-out-loud humor, sizzling chemistry, and plentiful amounts of steam. Fun, light, and totally unputdownable.

Monroe was flipping amazing. She’s strong, assertive, has a great sense of humor, and is fiercely independent. She’s basically a badass chick who I couldn’t help but love. Barrett was your typical sexy, alpha hero, but the dude had a sense of humor I loved and as his layers were peeled back, a sweet side as well. Their chemistry was off the charts and I really, really enjoyed their pranks.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and the writing collaboration between Megan Green and Alexandria Bishop. Sexy, hilarious, and so, so fun! Sign me up for anything these two authors come up with next! 5 stars.

Who would have guessed a spontaneous and out of character move to suggest a random hook up in the bar bathroom with a hot stranger just once would lead to her life taking a crazy turn the following day. When Monroe meets Barrett again on site of her new job as site manager, she realizes how sticky things have become since he's not only her boss but her best friend's brother. I LOVED this book between the humour, off the charts sexiness and not to mention the confident, strong and capable way she acts in a male dominated environment at a job most people would not expect a woman to do. Doesn't hurt that Barrett isn't intimidated by her, but pushes to help her while fighting her extremely independent personality. It's nice when they both stop fighting it. Other characters are fabulous and deserve their own stories.....where's the next one?

Loved this story! Funny, snarky, sexy - all the components checked off for a great read.

Monroe is hired as a construction site manager by her friend Benton to work on a reno of their home town's City Hall. Barrett is Benton's older brother and the head designer for their company. The two have a one night stand in the bathroom of a local bar the night she hits town. Next morning they both get a nasty surprise when they find out they will be working together. They proceed to play some truly hilarious pranks on each other before giving in to their wild chemistry. She ends up living with him after becoming ill and poor Benton walks in on them in the act. Barrett almost blows the whole relationship, but they reconcile and get their HEA.

I absolutely adored this Rom-Com by Alexandria Bishop and Megan Green. Monroe & Barrett had me cracking up non stop from the beginning and kept me wanting more. Monroe is hired by her Best Friend Benton to work for his construction company. Barrett is Benton's older brother and also a partner in the business, he is the head designer. Monroe and Barrett meet in a bar the night before she is supposed to start working and have a hot one night stand in the bar bathroom not giving any names to each other. Needless to say things go a little crazy once they set eyes on each other again and realize who the other is. They start to pull some hysterical pranks on each other as they fight to deny their feeling for each other. The Chemistry is off the charts. You won't be disappointed. I want more of these two and can't wait to see what happens to them when we get Benton and Ash's stories.

A one night stand turns complicated because who they are. Malone chose to have a one night stand, which is out of character for her, but chooses to not swap names. To say sparks where flying is an understatement in this sex scene. He tells her this isn’t the last he’ll see of her and she doesn’t want to see him again. After all it was a one night stand and was only suppose to be that. She figures it would be better not knowing who he was but didn’t take in consideration the small town she came back to live in. When they see each other again he is less than happy and she isn’t much happier then him. Even though he wanted to see her again he didn’t under these circumstances. To find out if he goes after her and if she stays away from him, even though it was the hottest sex she’s ever had, you’ll just have to get this book and read it!!

Monroe has come back home after a devastating loss to help out her best friend. Barrett is ready for life to finally give him a break with his business and is hoping his brothers best friend can accomplish just that but first he needs to get over the fact that said rescuer to their construction debacle is both female and the very woman he hooked up with the previous night. This book is filled with the hilarity of these two trying to fight their feelings toward one another. Between pranks and fights these two finally combust in an absolutely amazing way. There are definitely some hiccups along the way but these two finally get everything figured out and have their hea. Sweet read with the perfect amount of spice. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

The chemistry between Barrett and Monroe is just... WOW! It is very hot and absolutely hilarious. From the beginning they are off the charts (as is the dirty tryst in the bathroom of the local watering hole and a few other places). It doesn't stop until the very last page. There are plenty of awesome one-liners and jabs at each other as all of the characters become comfortable in their relationships.

The setups for Ash's and Benton's turns as focal characters teased just enough that I cannot wait to read those novels. It appears that they are both in for a world of trouble. If this book is anything to gauge them by, they are going to be a lot of fun to read!
