Princess Pulverizer just needs one more good deed and she can cash in with her dad for Knight School. But when she, Dribble, and Lucas try to rescue a mermaid they end up captured by pirates. Can they rescue themselves and the mermaid from these scallywags, and even if they do, will Princess Pulverizer's dad still honor the deal since they've gone outside his set boundaries?
A satisfying conclusion to the series. Princess Pulverizer has developed into a kind and chivalrous person (if still quite daring and adventurous). Lucas and Dribble also have developed quite a bit, and they've all learned a lot about themselves. The pirates are a goofy if somewhat scary bunch, making for quite an adventure with a few laughs along the way. This series is right on the edge of lower grade and middle grade in reading and interest level, and fully enjoyable for both. I'll miss spending time with this trio. Highly recommended to humor, fantasy, and adventure fans.
Notes on content: The trio are threatened with being fed to the sharks and there's a sword fight, but no one is injured at all.
