Very weird goings-on in the town of Greendale are making Sabrina Spellman’s relocation to Greendale High…complicated. Protecting her friends, saving her family, solving a supernatural mystery, and keeping her witch nature a secret is starting to seem impossible. Something’s gotta give…but which one will it be and what will it mean for her future in Greendale?!
KELLY THOMPSON has a degree in Sequential Art from The Savannah College of Art & Design. Her love of comics and superheroes have compelled her since she first discovered them as a teenager. Currently living in Portland, Oregon with her boyfriend and the two brilliant cats that run their lives, you can find Kelly all over the Internet where she is generally well liked, except where she's detested.
Kelly has published two novels - THE GIRL WHO WOULD BE KING (2012) and STORYKILLER (2014) and the graphic novel HEART IN A BOX from Dark Horse Comics (2015). She's currently writing ROGUE & GAMBIT, HAWKEYE, and PHASMA for Marvel Comics and GHOSTBUSTERS for IDW. Other major credits include: A-Force, Captain Marvel & The Carol Corps, Jem and The Holograms, Misfits, Power Rangers Pink, and the creator-owned mini-series Mega Princess.
Kelly's ambitions are eclipsed only by her desire to exist entirely in pajamas. Fortunately pajamas and writers go hand in hand (most of the time). Please buy all her stuff so that she can buy (and wear) more pajamas.
Absolutely loved it. It's a good mix between the 90s Sabrina and the new Sabrina (and Salem TALKS..YES!!!!!!!!!) The artwork is great, the story is really picking up, and I cannot wait for the 3rd one!
Why Isn't Salem More Heavily Featured (And Other Thoughts I Had on Sabrina the Teenage Witch #3)
1. Sabrina is incredibly related, especially when confronted with difficult information about Radka. "Now I gotta have tender, relatable feels for the mean girl? Not fair." I know, Sabrina. It sucks when you have to realize that the mean girls are also complex, nuanced human (or in this case supernatural) beings too.
2. Geez, why don't we just throw in a kraken for effect? That's what I feel like Thompson said to herself when she wrote this issue.
3. I have so many questions. Why does Radka know the secret and not Ren? Why is she hiding it from him? Will Sabrina be able to help them in some way? I will keep my eye on this plot.
4. In any version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Hilda and Zelda are the aunts I would like to have. They're smart, kind, supportive, and they have an amazing magic room with a light-up floor! I'm in.
6. Salem begging for catnip made my night. More Salem content, please. Salem is my spirit animal.
7. Zelda and Hilda get extra awesome witch aunt points for putting flowers and herbs in Sabrina's backpack for protection. Also, it sets up a truly hilarious scene in which Sabrina has to come up for reasons these things are in her backpack.
8. Do we ship Harvey and Sabrina in this series? To be determined. I always love Harvey, but I need to see this play out.
9. What a cliff-hanger! What's going to happen next? No clue. I just know I want more Salem content.
As usual this comics artwork is simply amazing. I just adore the artist. Kelly Thompson knows how to write a good story line plot as we get I to #2 of this comic and find out more about Sabrina's classmates being different creatures. But not sure yet if it's due to her spells or it's something they are on their own, it's a bit confusing. We see Harvey for the second time, wish he was in the storyline a little more, but he did ask out Sabrina!

This series perfectly balances the spookiness of Chilling Adventures and the light humor of most Archie series. I'm a fan of both, so the blend is especially appealing to me. Both of the covers so far have blown me away, the detail equally evident in the inside.
This is was a really cool issue. We got to seem more of the magic and all the madness that that had started in the last issue. I really the character development in the possible relationship with sabrina and harvey. Can't wait for the next issue.
Ok wt* just happen to Allen?!? How was he even able to get into an "off limits" room?! How did NO ONE see him running there? WHAT IS HE? I'm so confused but even more interested! Time to start #3!
I actually really like the direction these comics took and if the show had taken this direction I would have enjoyed it too, even though I also like the show as is.
