The 17th installment in the hit 'Living Among Bigfoot' series. Having arrived at the scene of a mysterious animal attack, it isn't long before Tom ends up in another potentially fatal situation. Will Tom and his acquaintances stay out of harm's way? Or is this the end of the road? Living Among Bigfoot is a series based on Tom's multiple encounters with the Bigfoot species.
This series makes for a good and exciting story. However, the last five books veer so far from the plausible that any thought this might be an entirely true story left me volumes ago. The author didn't have to continue to assert the truthfulness of the volumes because the story holds up on its own without that. Consequently, I find the "A True Story" insistence to be supremely irritating.
I also dislike that the author resorted to the "monsterfication" of the Sasquatch species. There is no evidence that the species has ever harmed humans. Such assertions just contribute to mis-information about Cryptids and feed the overall trigger happiness of so many Americans.
Huminid activity in "broad daylight"! First the barking aggression from dogs on the property. To helping themselves to the horses at the stable. Now the domestic pet rabbit of one of the children living in the property; while the small child held his pet protectively. These creatures are getting much more courageous and aggressive!! I'm waiting anxiously for the next chapter!!
Some heartbreaking action. Still mysterious about the commune of folks where all the skulking activity is escalating. I have an inkling from one sentence several books ago. But. Reading Tom Lyons, one must never forget his mind is as imaginative as X-Files originator, Chris Carter! I'm looking forward to the two final books. Pick this series. OMG, this is another shocking chapter in the Living Among Bigfoot second series. If you thought the last chapter was something, you have no idea what's coming. A riveting edition and I can't wait to find out what happens next. I am so glad I didn't live in this area. A must read.
I have read the entire series. Tom’s writing style shows he isn’t stupid, he is very creative. I say that because though he claims these events are true but names have been changed to protect the innocent I do question where they are or not. Tom’s books are a page turner for me and my wife enjoyed them as well.
Excellent read as usual, I've read them all, can't wait for the next instalment. I can't imagine what living with that fear must be like I'd be off out of there like a shot.
Tom's knack for keeping the reader enthralled in his books is the only setback to reading them. The books are way too short and the wait for the next book is way too long.
True to the rest of the series so far, this book is full of suspense and action. If you enjoyed the previous books in this series you will enjoy this one too.
