Sergey is person who was in the center of Russia's economic system. He worked there a lot of time and now he has great experiance in economics.
A lot of people in Russia don't understand even foundametional economic rules. For example, If tell them what is AD-AS they will think that you are crazy. That's why Russia's economics now is situated in ass. (people agree with goverment's doings that aren't good)
Alexshashenko tells there are kind of problems. But when I ordered this book I have looked for people's review. And more persons give this book 1/5 just because this book isn't understandly. It explains my opinion about knowings of russian people.
But if you understand economics, you will read this book without any problems. Anyway for me it was not difficult unlike for example Marx's Kapital.
If you don't understand why Russia is one of the poor country in Europe on people's wealth, you have to read this book.

Сначала учебник по экономике, потом эта книга - не наоборот. Иначе придется принимать очевидные для автора логические связи на веру или вообще не понимать, о чем идет речь, или полчаса гуглить. Много терминологии, много повторений, мало объяснений. Наверное, если вы - экономист, вам эта книга принесет больше пользы, чем мне.
