Wedding bells will soon be ringing at the magnificent Castleton Manor in Lighthouse Bay, Massachusetts. Librarian Faith Newberry is head over heels in love with Wolfe Jaxon, co-owner of the manor, and she anxiously prepares to tie the knot with him.

As the ceremony nears, their friends and family arrive, and the staff transforms the manor into the perfect setting for a fairy-tale wedding.

But before Faith can say "I do," chaos ensues when someone breaks into her cottage and destroys her beautiful wedding gown.

Faith is shocked when she finds her dress in tatters. With the wedding only a few days away, the designer begins making a brand-new gown. Then another shock occurs when someone is murdered.

Faith vows to investigate the crime before she walks down the aisle. As she and her friends in the Candle House Book Club search for clues, they discover stunning secrets and veiled threats.

Will they - along with Faith's loyal cat, Watson - close the book on this murder before the big day? Or will the killer strike again, threatening Faith and Wolfe's happily ever after?

And so another series comes to an end . . . poor Faith--she can't even get married without a murder occurring! Would Faith have had so many wedding jitters otherwise?

I liked how Watson and Tucker bonded.

I did not guess who the murderer(s) was/were. I probably should have.

It was nice to see Marlene softening some, and to know that Eileen will likely find a second love. It's kind of sad that we won't get to see those relationships develop.

The end of a series. It was nice to see Faith and Wolfe sail off into the sunset after their wedding. The ending was a fitting close to the series. The plot was a good one with a few red herrings for suspects thrown in.

Great ending to this series. I will miss my comfy shoe reads from Castleton Manor and Watson. The mystery did keep me guessing and I so enjoyed the romance(s) sprinkled throughout.

Sad but happy to have finished this series. This was another story with tenser moments, but still the cozy vibes. I will miss Faith and Watson, and the gang at Castleton Manor.
