Chasing Destiny

This series is fantastic! I have been in love with the Tala Prophecy Series from the first page of Chasing Memories, through Chasing Shadows and after reading book 3 I am even more head over heels for this series.
The one thing that stands out most about this book in particular is that the author allows us to really get to know more about the characters. We learn more about their individual powers and watch their love for one another blossom into an extended family. The pain they suffer through and the stress of the impending battle can be felt through the pages. My heart skipped a beat each time a new piece of the puzzle was revealed and the reality of what they have yet to face. I still have so many emotions swirling around in my head. I cried with these characters, laughed out loud and even cursed the evil that seems to always be in their path. I think Reagan expresses the feelings of her group best when she says, "We're all prisoners to our destiny."
Thank goodness Reagan has an inner strength and the support of her friends and family. Time for preparing is closing fast and the battle is sure to be brutal. Faith will be tested I'm sure, but with their new mantra "With Faith, We Fight", the aid from a group of angels and the power of the 6 their chances are getting better. As long as they remember what their fighting for and keep their loved ones close to their hearts they may have a fighting chance. "We can't become evil in order to destroy it."
Chasing Destiny is the perfect continuation of this series. It begins seamlessly where book 2 ended and takes you deeper into the lives of the pack members, while revealing more details of the evil that threatens to end the world. I devoured this book in one sitting and I am already dying to read the next book. I can't get enough!!

I was given an advance reader copy for an honest, unbiased review. In Chasing Destiny, Reagan must face her biggest challenges yet. In the beginning she believes she has all the people and components gathered to face the enemy. Rafe is literally a demon with legions of evil werewolf soldiers set on becoming the most powerful beings in the world. She is terrified that she will fail her loved ones and those who look to her for salvation. But they have a prophecy and she has a twin sister, a mother, and grandmother with powers of their own on her side. She also has an army of werewolves ready to fight with her. Does she have everything she needs for this battle? Can she lead her pack to victory? Will she be able to keep everyone safe?
Tia Bach weaves a suspenseful and exciting tale. She craftily mixes history with legend, family with friends, and courage with faith to create a story that has equal parts of heart and action! I love this series! You can pick up any of the books and be captivated. This is yet another solid edition to Tia’s resume.

Another great installment in this author's Tala Prophecy Series. You learn more about the characters, that you have already fallen in love with from the first 2 books. Reagan's journey is so incredible and I am so happy that I have been able to follow along with her as she grows. This book is full of action, making it an intense page turner. But, I'll warn you to keep the tissues handy, because you'll be feeling lots of emotions with this one. I laughed, I cried, got angry, and was most certainly on the edge of my seat while reading through this story. A bit of a cliffhanger will leave you wanting more......I know I can't wait for the next book. This reader declares this book and series a Must Read! I will definitely be recommending Ms. Bach's Chasing Destiny, as well as the rest of the series!

Wow!! Just, wow. Tia Silverthorne Bach has a way with writing that never ceases to amaze me with her Tala series. In the beginning of the third book Chasing Destiny the reader may think they have it all figured out as to how its going to go. Think again. As the battle of fate draws closer, Reagan thinks that everything has been figured out and that her life has been leading up and will end with the epic battle of shifters. With family, friends and the rest of the pack standing behind her, Reagan still can't believe that she can win. But with angels, witches, vampires, and hybrids of good and evil are supporting her ,could it be possible to defeat Rafe? Rafe by the mericless way he kills, and all of the evil within him, she still can't be sure. . She continues to learn more about herself and her family and wondering if she can keep them safe and figure out the riddles that determine the winner of the war.

Bach’s newest book to the Tala Prophecy series is her best ever. Key elements of story development and character growth have been enhanced and perfected. Within Chasing Destiny the reader will begin to see some life lessons spilled out in acts of desperation and moments of intense awareness. Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faith. Gentleness. Self-control. In the character’s struggle to face their destiny, the key players learn what faith and trust mean and develop their war cry, “with faith, we fight”. As I read on, I sensed my own faith rising in determination to face obstacles and walls with a renewed perseverance. Whether the author meant to or not, she has given us a book to thoroughly enjoy, and at the same time begin to explore our own destiny and what we truly believe in. Kudos to giving us more than expected and offering us the extraordinary pleasure of seeing with new eyes! This is a must read. Engrossing! Empowering! Amazing!

As Reagan and the group near her and Winona's 18th birthday, they discover more and more about the prophecy that's set forth. Will they be able to defeat Rafe and the devil himself? They will need the help of each other, Angels and the vampire clan to stay out of there way. Will they be able to convince the vampires to side with them? After all, Rafe has already tried making deals with them as well. Whose promises will win the head vampire Lucent allegiance? Will they all make it out alive each time Rafe and his army ambushes the group? Can't wait to find out what happens next!

Wow, I thought this was an AMAZING book. Once I got started I could not put the book down. I had to keep reading just to find out what happens next. I still think that Reagan is such a great main character. She is going through so much, but she keeps going on because she loves her family and friends and boyfriend and will do anything to keep them safe. Now we are getting closer and closer to find out if Reagan and everyone else can defeat evil. I can not wait to read more to see how the story ends up.

This is an amazing story filled with shifters, demons, magic and so much more! I absolutely love the world created by this author and couldn't get enough! This is a great read that grabbed my attention and didn't let go until the very last page and I literally couldn't put this book down! Reagan is a strong female character and I admire how she is able to handle whatever life throws at her. I definitely look forward to much more from this author in the future. I highly recommend reading this to anyone and I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I love this series! Great strong female lead characters and of course quite a few hunky guys! With the war coming soon and moving closer to their doorsteps, there is a lot of planning still left to do. Reagan is busy training and trying to keep spirits up. With so much loss it is getting harder and harder to have faith. Will she be able to defeat evil and still have all of her family in the end? Read this series and find out!

Once again, this book continues to evolve and pull you in. Although this is a werewolf story I can't help but feel similarities to Buffy the Vampire Slayer- in a good way: the library, Lucent kind of like Angel, and a few other things. There's definitely a build up to the showdown with Rafe but no details and a lot of changes happen within the pack. Great read, looking forward to #4.

WOW!!!
OK I love these books please start at the beginning with book 1 but this book is action packed and we learn so much more about the prophecy that our main character Raegen is supposed to be the center of I don't give spoilers in my reviews however I will say FINALLY Rowen makes his move I am so glad to have read these shifters are awesome but shifters mixed with witch blood who knew great read!!! Highly recommend this series thank you Tia Silverthorne Bach for writing such an awesome story the only thing that made it a little difficult at all was all the names that started with R like Rafe and Raegen and Rowen I had to keep them straight throughout but as new characters come into the story it gets much easier::) five stars all the way!!!

Great
I am really enjoying this series. The characters are well developed, and interesting. The relationship between them are developing. The story line is evolving and.moving forward. Once in awhile Reagan does something that reminds us she is still just a 17 year old girl.

Tia Silverthorne Bach sure knows how to start and end books with a bang. Where Chasing Shadows left off; Chasing Destiny picks right up. Since by now you know that Tia writes fast paced, action packed, paranormal books I do not need to go into detail on how much of a roller-coaster of a ride this book was. However, just when you think you understand what is going on, she will throw you for the biggest loop you have ever seen. I think this was by far my most favorite book of her's (until the next one comes out)! I love the motto behind this book!
A lot has happened to 17 yr old Reagan since she has learned that she was the granddaughter of a wiccan (grandmother) and a werewolf (grandfather). She has learned that she and her twin sister (wait, what?) that she found in Chasing Shadows are to fulfill a prophecy. All along she thought it was to be her and her brother, until she met her sister. With Rowan, Madeline, her mother, grandmother, grandfather, twin sister, brother (werewolf) and the werewolf family pack by her side she will have to fight Rafe and his army of demon werewolves. However, more of the prophecy is revealed in this story and she realizes she will need more than the paranormal creatures of earth on her side. In order to defeat Rafe once and for all she must:
Gather powerful allies.

Form an unholy alliance.
Discover an angel sword.
Survive devastating losses
How is she going to do all this and keep everything she has ever known intact including her sanity? Simple: With Faith, We Fight. But when push comes to shove who can you really trust? Who is really fighting for you and on your side? Sometimes the most inconceivable losses are the ones you need to guide you to the end.
I can not stress enough that this book touched me in so many ways. I loved the intricate way that Tia wove her faith with the paranormal aspects of the book. This series is going to be one of the best series in a long time of the ultimate good versus evil. I have a feeling I know who comes out on top, however I want to see how it all unfolds and who is really helping out who! I again recommend this book to anyone of any age. Go out and get your copy of every book in the series now. Thank you Tia for such a great book!

Wow. With each book in this series, I am pulled further and further into the stories. I can't wait to read more! This book is book 3 in the Tala Prophecy Series. I encourage you to read the books in order or there is a lot of information that might be missed. This is such a good series that I can't wait to get them for my 14 yr old daughter. I think readers of paranormal books young and old alike will like this series!

As Reagan prepares to fight Rafe, so much has happen that you can't help but bite your nails and scream at Tia Silverthorne Bach for not allowing Reagan and Rowan to live their happily ever after!
Once again a beautifully written book that makes you ask questions with few answers. The cliffhanger is an "OMG don't stop now!" I'm lucky, the forth book comes out in two days, I can only imagine what readers who had to wait must be feeling. This is a series I don't want to see end but dying to know what happens in the end!

again, really good continuation of the original story. Though, we lost some really good characters in this one, it was still well paced and written. I'm sad though that it looks like there is probably 2 more books to get through to finish this story.
