‘I love the way you look at me,’ she said, pulling back to catch my eyes.

‘Like I want to strip you naked piece by piece until your skin is against mine? Clawing at your clothes, ripping them apart, just to get to you better?’

‘Yes, like that.’

Stacey

He’s a male escort.
As in, he has sex for a living.
As in, my hard limit.
I’m supposed to be writing an article about him, not falling for him.
But something about Matthew Shaw makes me want to suppress that hard limit.
He’s smart, funny, and too beautiful for his own good.
But he makes his money through orgasms…and I don’t share.
I can’t. I won’t.
But I still want to.

Matt

There are reasons why I escort.
Reasons no one knows.
But when Stacey waltzes into my life, with her eager questions and fiery red hair, I start to imagine a different kind of life. The life I can’t have with her.
She’s the one I’ve been waiting for.
The gorgeous journalist who lights up a room.
But how can I ask her to stay?
If I stop, if I give up, I’ll lose everything.
I wish I could tell her why.
I can’t. I won’t.
But, God, do I want to.

This sassy heroine, swoony hero, soul-mates and fate story is a standalone and has a happily ever after.

Lynsey M. Stewart enjoys writing stories about characters that experience a few bumps in the road before finding their happily ever after (also known as contemporary romance with plenty of heat) She lives with her husband, her soulmate and muse, along with their gorgeous, precious, ridiculously independent little girl. Lynsey began writing after being inspired by great books, amazing writers and wonderful stories that she couldn't stop thinking about long after reading the last word. If she’s not writing, you can usually find her with her head in a book or singing along to music. She’s hopeless, but she enjoys pretending to be Adele every once in a while.

I’m no stranger to Lynsey M Stewart’s books, in fact I’ve read them all. She’s an automatic one click author of mine and that’s because she always writes the most incredible stories.

Every single time in every single book I’ve connected with her characters. Lynsey has a gift of writing characters that I would wish to be within my close circle of friends and that means I find myself becoming heavily invested in them finding happiness as I read their stories. This connection that I have with her characters makes me feel every emotion that they are experiencing and Lynsey knows how to write a book that will take you on the most incredible emotional roller coaster ride….. One Night Only certainly being no different.

What happens when you find the right person at the wrong time? You put yourself through an emotional wringer that’s what, and I certainly could see and feel this happening to both Stacey and Matt throughout this book and I totally understood why. I absolutely adore both of these characters and I’m certain you will too. As you get to know them you will see why I so desperately wanted them to be happy. I was rooting for them to get together as I felt they were just perfect for each other.

Stacey is a girl who has the most amazing personality. I love how she connects with others and I could see that everyone who she came in contact with was immediately put under her spell. She is friendly, caring, bubbly and generous, and this is just a few of the wonderful qualities that I could mention that she possesses.
Matt is the full package – he’s good looking, caring, great personality and fantastic in bed. Once you meet him you will understand exactly why I want to claim him for myself ;)

The couple meet and their attraction to each other is instant. If you have read the synopsis you will know that Stacey is a journalist interviewing Matt about his work as an escort. She is writing an article about escorts to highlight various aspects of the job for the magazine she is employed by. Now you will understand why I mentioned earlier about the right person at the wrong time situation, because they want to be together but Stacey can’t get passed the reality that Matt will be spending time with other women. I can tell you that I totally understood her struggle with this, and I felt the author did a fabulous job of highlighting the thoughts that were going through both Matt and Stacey’s minds and the emotions they were experiencing as they tried to overcome the obstacles standing in their way. There are many twists and turns in the story and you will learn that there isn’t an easy solution which would enable them to be together. I absolutely loved this about the story.

I honestly couldn’t put my kindle down. I wanted to know what was going to happen and hoped that Stacey and Matt would get their happy ever afters. The secondary characters in the book add to the story perfectly. I’ve mentioned that you will feel all the emotions, and a book that brings out all the feels definitely gets a huge tick from me. I felt butterflies in my stomach through many scenes plus I laughed, cried and swooned too.

I’m so excited for you to read this. I know that once you meet and get to know Stacey and Matt that they will find a place in your heart, just like they have in mine.

"What if you met the right guy at the wrong time?"

Matt and Stacey first meet when Stacey, a journalist for a women's magazine, is tasked with writing an article on Matt, who is an escort. Attraction is immediate. Curiosity ensues. Stacey is taking a break from dating and Matt, well, he knows that he can't realistically have a relationship and continue his current employment, so he's also taken a break from dating (er, except for his job.) As, the two get to know each other, they find it harder and harder to ignore their feelings but Matt's job is a giant divider--I mean, who could handle that?

To be honest, when I first heard about this book, I didn't give it much thought. I figured it would be a cute, light, funny read. And in many ways, it was. BUT, it was more. This book was full of funny and sexy moments but it was surprisingly filled with so many touching, heartwarming (and sometimes heart-breaking) scenes that I couldn't put it down. It was a book that really makes you consider how far you would go for love and what you'd be willing to give up to keep love. It makes you realize that not everything is black and white. I really enjoyed it and would recommend you give it a try--even if you think it might not be your thing. You might be surprised.

Do you believe in fate or do you make your own destiny?

What if you meet the right person at the wrong moment? Super cute premise, and I expected a breezy summer read. Boy, did I underestimate Lynsey Stewart. She delivers her trademark smart and cheeky characters and sneaks in a great lesson on our misconceptions.

Stace is off men and focusing on her journalism career. Given her list of less-than desirable dates and exes, I get it. She's young, smart, socially-minded, and a really kind person. When she meets her next article interviewee, Matt (escort extraordinaire), sparks fly. Can Stace look beyond her preconceived notions of what Matt does for a living or do they fizzle due to circumstance?

Matt is one of my favorite male characters I have read. He is obviously handsome and sexy (hello job requirement), but that pales in comparison to his brain, heart, and the reasons he is escorting in the first place. He isn't contrived or simple, and I appreciated his struggles as Stewart reveals them.

Honestly, this story is the first in a long time to give me a tummy ache for these characters. The obstacles they face are large and many, and I felt for them both. It's not angsty, but it's emotional in the best way. I feel like I earned the character's wins and felt their losses. That's rare magic.

One Night Only has an amazing cast of support characters, all of whom I'd pre-order their books (if they get one). They are interesting and well fleshed-out, and they are funny as heck. Add in an amazing service dog and pop hits on an accordion, and you have a winner here! But my favorite part by far is how Stewart challenges what we believe about people because of what they do. She writes the confounding dichotomy in such a clever way that it's never judging. It simply proposes the question and lets the reader engage in our own biases. Bottom line is we are so much more complex than what we do for a living at any given time.

I cannot wait to share this book once released. It's stellar!

Lynsey Stewart brings the total package to my romance loving heart. One Night Only was so much better than I thought possible. If you've never read a LS novel, you need to go add her entire backlist to your TBR this instant. Start with this one, because it is absolutely fabulous.
Story Line: Stacey is a writer for a local women's magazine - think Cosmo. Matt is a male escort. That's right. Yes, you read that correctly. This is the story of how work and pleasure can totally mix and give us a super sweet love story. Stacey is given the job of writing an article about Matt and his business. To get the full experience, she agrees to go on an actual date with him. Just like any of his paying customers would. And so their spark ignites and it's an adventure of trying to keep that flame from burning out or blowing up the mattress. But in all seriousness, this story blew me away. I had a few reservations about his line of work. I mean, who wouldn't? And Stacey's inner monologue with her struggle to accept what he does to earn a living is totally on point. This romance surprised me by being one of the most realistic stories I've ever had the pleasure of reading.
Interaction: The dialogue between Stacey and Matt is incredible. It flows with grace and humor, as well as packs in the sexual tension to keep those butterflies flopping around in your belly. Matt has his secrets so there are times I wanted to shake him so he would open up further to Stacey. But when we see for our own eyes why he is a bit reserved, it all clicks into place. And thankfully Stacey sees that too. Of course, it's easy for all of us to see why these two mesh so beautifully. The chemistry - the sparks - are undeniable and wonderful to experience first hand.
Laundry: Let me just start off by saying, the laundry is smoking hot. Do not misunderstand what I'm about to say, though. I was worried about the laundry. I mean, the guy is an escort. The thought of him having paid dates before and after Stacey, made my stomach turn. Take this as you will because I hate spoilers - but I did not experience one stomach turn this entire book. The laundry - all of it - was finger tingling good. So good.
Depth: When the hero of our story gets paid to go out on dates plus whatever that leads to, you know there's got to be a story there. And there absolutely is. But I won't tell you here, because where is the fun in that? But just know that Matt is not what you're envisioning. Yes, he's hot as a summer day. Yes he has a dreamy beard that I swear I could picture myself running my fingers through. But there is so much more to this 20 something year old guy. And Stacey is the one who gets to peal back his layers and get to know the real guy. Not just the escort. I loved this story more than I honestly thought I would. There was a moment where I almost sent a nasty gram to the author because I thought she was about to break my heart. But it all works out in the end. And it was absolutely wonderful.

I always like a good escort romance because there’s some underlying secret as to why someone takes this route. And, this one does not disappoint. Funny and quirky Stacey Clifton was everyone’s friend. Kind. Caring. And, honest. Romance to her was just “meh”; since not yet finding the committed type willing to put her feelings first. A journalist by trade, Stacey is offered her magazine’s Valentine’s Day issue to write an article on an escort, Matt Shaw. She’s to get the whole “escort experience” if she feels she can go through with it. When her and Matt meet, the chemistry is off-the-charts. Will she be able to take it to the next level? And, when Stacey and Matt’s genuine feelings start to get in the way, will she be able to put aside his choice of career and just be with him? This was such a great book! I flew through this in a day. Such exceptional main characters with heartfelt emotions. I could definitely feel both of their pain. And, the supporting characters were amazing too. This was my first read by this author, and if all her books are written with such explicit desire and compassion, I consider it a great find!

I will admit that I was nervous going into this book because I cannot stand cheating and when the Hero is an escort, I was worried that would be an issue. Fortunately, I gave it a shot and I was not disappointed. Lynsey took a Hero with a usually taboo profession and turned him into a beautiful human whose goal was to empower women through their sexuality.
Stacey, who has had her share of dating disasters and losers, meets Matt Shaw when her boss asks her to write an article for their Women’s magazine about his profession. Despite their obvious attraction to each other Stacey has sworn off dating and wants to be professional about the whole situation.
The more she learns of Matt the more intrigued she becomes. One of my favorite lines of the book is when she asks him if he is worried about setting up men to fail because of the attention he lavishes on his clients during their time together. His response was perfect. “No, I’m setting the standards women should expect. They should be a guy’s first priority in a relationship. I’m showing them they shouldn’t settle for anything less.” ‘Sigh’
They both agree for one night together for Stacey to get the “whole experience”. But that one night is not enough for either and they have to find a way to make a relationship work.
This is truly a beautiful love story about a man doing everything he can for his family and the woman he loves. Definitely give this book a chance, what I worried would happen didn’t, so I was extremely pleased—this is me trying not to be spoilerish.
I highly recommend this book.

I have read every word this author has written and still beg for more. This book delivers and then some. The gist of the book is he's an escort, she's a writer for a women's magazine (Vogue x Cosmo) who is given an assignment to interview and write about male escorts. Other reviewers will give more of the plot in their reviews, but it's not the plot that drew me in. It was the characters. Lynsey Stewart writes characters that have depth, heart, humour and emotions you can relate to. She brings life to characters unlike most authors I've read. Stacey and Matt are funny, kind and have so many layers. Stacey is smart and kind. Matt is sweet and a hard-core feminist. Love this! Stewart reveals these layers with a careful hand and leaves you completely rapt in their chemistry.

Lynsey Stewart is a guaranteed one-click for me. She should be for you, too!!

Want a recommendation, read this one!

Lynsey has really outdone herself. I've laughed. Sighed. Teared up. And maybe had a few lol, hot flashes.

I loved the storyline. Hot guy. Male escort. And he's British too. Can't go wrong with that!

Mostly though I think the best part of the story was the message it left with me. Or rather, messageS.

It's about fate. Empowerment. Friendship. Respect. And the price we sometimes pay for a true love.

This won't be everyone's "cup of tea", it does involve cheating, I mean how could it not. The main character is an escort, but if you look past that, and I recommend you do, you'll find quirky character's that you'd want to hang out with. Character's that HOPEFULLY (yes Lynsey this is a hint) will get their own books sometime soon.

I read this as an arc, so be on the lookout for this one. It's worth your time!

This is a story that I know will stay with me for a long, long time.

Right man, wrong time is the perfect tag line this book. Matt is an escort, Stacey the journalist tasked with interviewing him. Their chemistry is strong and instantaneous, surpassing anything either has ever felt before. Fate seems to bring them together but there are so, so many obstacles in their way. This was a fast paced, thought provoking novel about love and trust and destiny.

Lynsey Stewart has quickly become a must buy author for me. Here she has written two very complex characters who fall deeply in love but must decide what to do with their feelings. It's a fantastic story.

Thanks Lynsey!!!!

If you are even *thinking* about reading this book, please, do so at the risk of your own sleep. This is such a "turn-the-stereotype upside down" read that it is impossible to put down.

Stacey has had her absolute fill of losers, idiots, jerks, and men in general. Her career is where her life is, even if it isn't for a traditional "strong journalism" format.

Matt has it all... the looks, the women who pay HIM to treat them well... or does he? Some things just can't be tucked neatly into a box, isolating themselves from other parts of one's life.

When worlds, and expectations, collide, what happens next is up to fate.

Another masterpiece from an incredible writer.

I started this book thinking it was going to be an easy breezy summer read. Not quite! I should have known Lynsey M Stewart would write a story and amazing characters that would suck me in immediately and wouldn’t let me go. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it definitely made me reach for a fan, and it made me think. What would I do for my family? What would I be willing to give up? This one is going to stay with me for a while.

I was lucky enough to get to read One Night Only during the author's writing process, and I loved watching the evolution of this story with a somewhat controversial topic.

This read may not be for everyone, but I encourage you to pick it up anyway. Ms. Stewart does a wonderful job of navigating the difficulties of the character's relationship while maintaining the level of humor and steam she is known for.

One Night Only is a fantastic story for readers who love watching the main characters earn their HEA.

Hot and sweet!

Before I started reading, I was intrigued by the concept of this story. The right guy at the wrong time is an extremely relatable idea, and people's jobs do create conflict in relationships. But when the job is that of an escort? Oh yes, that pretty much promised a conflict that would not be so easy to resolve. Thankfully, Lynsey has done a great job of building the situation and heightening the conflict, while still keeping the relationship and the characters relatable and making it easy to get behind their reactions and decisions.
When I started reading this, I knew I would enjoy it no matter how the story turned out simply because it’s written well. Within the first few pages, I was smiling and enjoying the amusing turns of phrase that set Lynsey's writing apart.
Liking Stacey was effortless, because it felt like she was someone you knew, or just one of us. I did feel a couple of times that she was a bit too nice, but then I realised that usually happened when it was Matt relating the chapter... so that makes sense too, cause the boy is besotted pretty early on! (And I love it!) I like that she’s a nice person, who is also really good at her job, independent, strong and compassionate. I adore her friendship with Skye and Will and I really really want more of them in future!
Matt... well, I must say I really enjoyed reading his character. He's sweet, he's hot, and I love how he’s ultimately just a really straightforward kind of guy, doing what he can in the circumstances. I like that we keep discovering facets to him, and the picture that emerges is so endearing. From the physical attributes that make him so attractive to the female characters, we keep moving inwards, and each of his relationships reveal a lot about him, be it his friendship with Stu, his interactions with the women he escorts, or his relationship with his family... or even with Reggie the dog!
I love how we come away feeling like we really know these two characters. And the sizzling chemistry they share just adds to the fun! Seriously, they are intense. They make linking fingers sound way hotter than pages of erotica! And just when you’re reaching for ice water, they do or say something so adorably sweet you can’t help but smile.
Another character who stood out was Anna. I had so many varied reactions to her from the moment she comes on the scene! I might have wanted to smack her a few times, but I love how she was written. Overall, I’m very glad I read this, and I’m very hopeful that there will be another book in his universe. I need more!

A fun, flirty but sexy read that will knock your socks off and it's also a heartwarming story that will slowly pull on your heartstrings. The story had a lot of depth to it and talks about another side of a man that's an escort. Definitely worth the read!

Stacey hasn't really found a guy that she can not only trust but also feels more than just friendship for as it seems that some way or another, she just doesn't seem to fall in love and isn't really heartbroken over broken relationships. She works for a magazine as a journalist and when she gets her next big story, she'll have to dig deeper into the escort business but mostly, the reason why Matt has become successful in a business that is not for everyone. When they first meet, there's this instant attraction between them and feelings start to grow the more she gets to know him. Even though Matt feels so many emotions towards Stacey, he knows that what he does as a job stands in the way of them ever becoming more than friends. Not only is she writing an article about him, his life is complicated and he needs to do a lot to be able to move forward but also make her see that he is ready for something more. Will she be able to get past his job?... Will everything work out in the end?...

Believably plotted and unbelievable hot!

I have to confess I went a little bit weak in the knees when I saw that this is about a male escort who falls in love with the journalist who's interviewing him about his job. Come on, it has to be up there in the realm of temptations along with Superman and chocolate cake, right?

Then I read the book and I loved it for not only its sensual and beautiful intimate scenes, but for the honest, fun and sweet chemistry between the characters. I fancied the fact that it happens in London, though I would have started the story at the interview and eliminated the first chapters.

She has a sparkling personality and more honesty than a mirror. He is a perfect gentleman and more cute than a puppy. Fate and serendipity play a huge part in their relationship as well as female empowerment and true love.

I loved the mix of fun and reality. I think the author has taken the role of male escort seriously and it reflects in the kind of questions and thinking that the journalist has going on. And the female character takes their bond seriously too. Can she cope with his job? Can she let him go if he is the love of her lackluster love life?

I found Matt's background really engaging, and heartbreaking as his tragedy started to be puzzled together. There are many scenes that are fun and uplifting, particularly regarding Stacey's sunny and generous nature, but a few just moved me. This man can be pure seduction with his good heart and beautiful looks, yet he's also poignantly human and lonely.

I loved the final part as they come to realize their unbreakable connection, and the mystical meaning with the red threads is powerful stuff. I think this story is deliriously romantic and heartfelt. It's all good and emotional: the couple, the importance of family and friends and faith in happiness. Touching and happy too.

I have a confession: Even though I love Lynsey Stewart’s writing and have loved every book of hers that I’ve read, I was apprehensive about this one. But I know she is a fantastic writer so I went into it with an open mind. I was so not disappointed! Stacey is a journalist at a Cosmo-type magazine assigned the story of Matt, male escort. Stacey and Matt want to tell the empowering story of the women who use his services and their many reasons, but her editor insists on the story being about Matt himself and pretty much forces Stacey into booking a date with him and encourages the full experience. Matt has his own secrets, though, and does not want the focus to be on him at all. To complicate matters, Matt and Stacey are insanely attracted to each other and as they spend time together they realize they are each other’s perfect person, but Matt’s job gets is a dealbreaker for Stacey.

I didn’t love this book as much as I did Lament, but they are very different kinds of books. I loved Stacey’s personality and Matt’s loyalty. I also loved how they got each other. But Stacey’s reluctance is 100% understandable in this situation. Once these two collided, however… fire. Pure fire.

Love is unconditional or so I thought. But when you meet the right guy and he is being an escort, would you run screaming in the other direction? I sure would. Or so I think since I’m not in the middle of the greatest instant love and mind blowing attraction you can ever imagine. The sweet and wonderful journalist who everyone adores instantly, is meeting her match when she’s asked to interview a male escort. They can’t seem to stop running into each other after their night together and the love and attraction only grows, but how can they ever be together? Will she accept to share him with other women or can she help him out of his situation? After all he has his reasons for escorting. I’m not denying, I had some frustrations with this story but my Kindle is still in one piece. And I promise you won’t destroy yours. I also had snort laughter and giggles and I could most definitely understand why they fell in love. This was my first experience with this author but I’m craving more. I’m going to guess you would to.

This is a different kind of love story. I didn’t see this one coming. When I picked up this book I already had a preconceived notion of how this book was going to play out. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The funny thing is this story is very much about preconceived ideas, expectations and so much more.
Once again this author has diverged onto another path in her writing. As always she does not disappoint.
This story is proof positive that we should never judge another person because we don’t know what is going on in their life to help them decide their life choices. Also we should never stop living or be afraid to take those chances. You never know where life is really going to take you. Do you always want to live in the safe zone or is it worth it to go to the danger zone?
I don’t do spoilers. I also don’t want to give anything away from your reading enjoyment. This story brings all the feels. I laughed, teared up, swooned, and felt the heat. It also begs the question do you believe in destiny or fate? That’s all you’re getting from me.
Matt and Stacey are combustible and are like magnets that are drawn to each other. Is she the yin to his yang?
The secondary characters add another layer to the book. I even got an education in terms In which I was unfamiliar. So it’s very informative.
I totally enjoyed this book. I read it in one sitting. So take one night only or slowly read it to prolong your enjoyment of this wonderful book.
I can’t wait to see where this wonderful author goes next.

Stacey is a journalist, who ends up with the assignment to interview a male escort, and this is how she came to meet Matt. She's very intrigued by him, as they have some serious sparks flying from their very first meeting. And even though she's taking a break from dating, there's something about Matt that she can't get out of her head. Obviously, he's not dating, because what woman in their right mind would be okay with his job. However, the more time they spend getting to know each other, the harder it is for them to keep their hands to themselves. I'm not big into the male/female escort romance trope, but I do really love Lynsey M. Stewart's writing so I decided to give a chance. As hard as it was for me to believe that One Night Only could be light & sexy, I was pleasantly surprised that it really did have a lot of those moments. I'm not saying that it wasn't emotional, because there were heartbreaking moments to be honest, especially when left with the decision, how far would they go for love?! If you want to find out that answer, then you'll have to read it for yourselves! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This book brings all the feels and some big questions!

What would you do if you met the right person at the wrong time? What do you do when fate keeps intervening? What are you willing to compromise on? What are you willing to risk?

Matt and Stacey sizzle from their first meeting. I adored Stacey’s self confidence and her willingness not to settle even when her whole being was screaming that this could be the one.

Matt was delightful in his persistent yet respectful pursuit of Stacey. I wanted to hug him several times as he struggles to deal with the choices he was making.

I really enjoyed their story and would highly recommend this as a surprising take on a relationship that involves one of the parties working as an escort. It was full of heart, fateful encounters and some very steamy action. I continue to enjoy every book from this author and can’t wait for the next one - hopefully Skye is next!!!

(Note: This book does not involve cheating).

This book left me feeling hopeful that “Fate finds a way”

A male escort meets a journalist. Just that meeting should've clued me in that nothing about Matt and Stace's story was going to be easy. How could it be when one's job is to literally date other people!

I felt Stace's struggle with Matt's profession throughout this book. But, just like Stace, I fell for Matt. He's sweet, he's loving, and, aside from this one thing, he's actually pretty perfect. Stace is one of the strongest characters I've ever read. She stands up for herself and says what's on her mind. She had an awful lot thrown at her in this story and she dealt with all of it head on. She's the type of woman I wish I could be.

This book has so much heat and passion. I loved the angst in this story and how hard Matt and Stace fought to find a way to make it work. I didn't think these obstacles could be overcome or that I could root for this couple but I'm so glad that I was proven wrong. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Skye's story and where she's been sneaking off to in ONO!!

I really liked this book it was such a feel good story and really displayed that women can be sexual and that we shouldn’t be ashamed of it.

One thing i really loved about this book was being based in England Lynsey m Stewart used some of the phrases that i miss on a day to day bases, i used to live in England and this book just took me back.

I loved the quirkiness of Stacey, i really thought she was a pleasant character who had bad luck with men either they were idiots or she met the right ones and the wrong times but she was an awesome character.

From the moment you meet Matt in this book you really get a sense of what an awesome man he is, the lengths he will go to to look after the ones he loves and that once he fell in love he would fall hard.

Of course with a story like this it won’t go smoothly at all, you can understand to an extent the problems Stacey has with Matt, but you can also see Matt’s side of why he has this job and that he can see no way out.

Loved reading thier story and seeing how it all pans out, i laughed in this book, i got emotional in spots in feeling what these characters could be, with there chemistry and connection it was flying of the page but i really enjoyed this story to the end to see how this unconventional love story would end.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes great banter and a bit of rom-com in there.

Once again Lynsey has taken what I thought was a light summer read, turned it on its head and written a beautifully written, emotion filled story that will blow you away. Stacey is a journalist, who has sworn off men as yet another relationship bites the dust. When her editor at Upfront magazine asks her to do a story about a male escort she doesn't anticipate that her world will be turned upside down by the most gorgeous man she has every laid eyes on. As the chemistry intensifies, Stacey agrees to the full escort experience - for One Night Only. But when that experience turns out to be the best night of her life, she is torn between deep feelings for Matt and knowing that she cannot overcome the knowledge that he sleeps with other women. That's her hard limit. But Matt can't give up escorting as he needs that money to help his family, but he can't tell anyone why. Just when Stacey feels her walls crumbling, she discovers a betrayal that cannot be overlooked. This book is a rollercoaster of emotions that I could not put down.

What if you met the right man at the wrong time? I absolutely love this phrase and it fits this story so well. Stacey is a journalist who is tasked with interviewing Matt, a male escort. These two have chemistry right from the beginning and it was so hard to read through this thinking how perfect they were together, only they weren't together. For his reasons, he's chosen this line of work to be able to afford certain things. Without giving too much of it away, when you find out his reasons, you really can't fault the man. Matt has a very good heart. I loved this story and these characters so much. The banter between them was phenomenal. Everything they went through was totally worth it in the end.

What an emotional charged, hot and steamy, with all the feels and will bring you to tears. Matt and Stacey will pull you in and kepp you there with banter, easy conversation and their wanting what they both think they can't have. As they go along and things become a little more complicated will they be able to set aside why they met in the first place and try to be together or will what they have be left in the dust when its put to the test. Amazing read had tears in my eyes and falling for these two. Can't wait to read more from her.

Ms. Stewart did it again and put it all out there with One Night Only. What an absolute stunning love story. This book has it all humor, heat, witty banter, and emotions. It sends a great message of empowerment, support, love, friendship, and many more take aways. The main characters face several obstacles that will make this a one sitting read. This is another must read by Ms. Stewart.

Fate Finds a Way!
One Night Only is an adept love story, that truly surprised me. Matt is a male escort and that alone is an obstacle to his relationship with Stacey. However, he is so much more. Ms. Stewart brilliantly brought Stacey and Matt to fruition in my mind. These characters are vibrant, charismatic, vulnerable, observant, and compelling. Their quirks and banter are sweet and fun. Their attraction is more than just sexual and radiates from the page. As they learn more about one another, their adoration builds as does the complications of their reality. There are many obstacles that they endure throughout their journey. Ultimately they have to decide if finding the right person makes it worth overcoming those hurdles. This love story will make you examine your own prejudice and ponder a new perspective. It is refreshing and hopeful and inspiring. Everything a great romance should entail.

When journalist Stacey meets male escort Matt to interview him, the chemistry is instant and sizzling - which makes her opportunity to have the full - er - experience of his job that much more tempting... and fraught with danger. This book takes a sensitive subject and treats it with honesty and care, seeing it through the eyes of two complex characters who share a strong interest in people and how best to help them. Stacey could come across as too good to be true, but she has flaws and insecurities that make her real. Matt is handling the cards he’s been dealt in the only way he thinks he can, and the two of them together are a delight. I genuinely didn’t want to put this book down - beautifully done!

A beautiful love story

Love at first sight, growing stronger without the normal avenues. This book was intriguing. It pulls you in. I couldn't wait to see how H and h finally made it work, and I was surprised! I loved these unapologetic, wholly themselves characters.
