Graham Dalton never forgot the woman he left behind. And when he returns home to San Francisco for a second chance with his first love, he's more than happy to stand-in as her fake boyfriend to improve the public image of her dating app company.

In the end, will Elle find her missing puzzle piece? Or will her world fall to pieces?

Rachael Bloome writes a beautiful story in this sweet tale of second chance love. Graham and Elle are an endearing couple, and I loved turning the pages to see how the story would end. A few twists and turns keep me guessing so it's not your typical read. You'll fall in love with these characters as you watch their story come to life through the talented author, Rachael Bloome! Enjoy everyone!

This is a sweet, clean Valentine read about Elle and Graham. This book is appropriate for all ages and comes with a happy ending. Many years ago, Graham asked Elle if she would be his Valentine, in a note. She never received the note. You won’t believe why she never received the note. Grab your copy and see what happens.

Two childhood friends who were torn apart by
another meet again after ten years and find the
attraction still there even though they still don’t
know what or who caused them to separate. In
trying to get her business moving forward again she
reaches out to her childhood friend to be her fake boyfriend, not realizing he wants it to be real and not fake.

This is a sweet story of a second chance of love for
two people who never quit loving each other even when they were told and felt that the other person didn’t feel the same towards them.

The moral of this story is communication! One MUST
tell the other person how he or she feels and not another. In this case, the one both confided in was the one who wanted to break both of them up so he could have her for himself!

I enjoyed this story and certainly recommend it to
everyone to read keeping that moral in mind that when you meet the person you want to be with TELL them and not another!

Short but sweet

A fun sweet clean romance with a twist. This really was a teaser of a story for me. Like when you go to a restaurant and you just order an appetizer instead of a full meal, it left me wanting more. Don’t get me wrong, I liked it a lot but really wanted it to be longer since there is so much goodness in it. Elle and Graham had such an interesting history that I wanted to know more about. And then to both have there heart broken it was a mystery as to why and how. Definitely was a page turner. So if you have a little break in your day you can read it with your coffee and enjoy a quick short story that is happy and makes you smile. And maybe makes you want to break some ugly dishes to help you find clarity.

It's an okay read for a fluff piece.

I found this novella to be truly lacking in plot development, character depth and credibility. Without giving too much away, I will say the following, always go to the funeral, particularly if you ever considered yourself a friend of the person in mourning. Marketing strategists do not work the way they are portrayed in the story. They would actually drive business away with that particular work ethic. When someone close to you goes out of their way to sabotage your life and then waits ten years to let you know, believe me, they are not sorry for their actions, and have not been riddled with guilt. Everyone was just remarkably immature and I found it annoying rather than charming.

This was a sweet Hallmark style story. High school best friends turned to fake boyfriend girlfriend. “They always end up together in the end, right?” This novella was a super fast read and left me with a happy heart. Knowing that forgiveness is important part of our lives. It was nice that Graham could forgive his brother so quickly and easily. This story had a nice ending, but there is a second book. It apparently continues on with their story, so if you get upset with cliffhangers, this one could go either way. I am planning on reading the next book, Poppy Petals.

I really like Rachael Bloome's writing. I thought this book was sweet, cute, and fun. I always love the friends to lovers trope, however, I wish this had been a full novel rather than a novella. I think this needed to be fleshed out more so that we could better get to know these characters. I also felt like the resolution was rushed and didn't have as much impact it could have. I hope to continue to read more of Rachel Bloom's work, but I think I prefer her books over her novellas.

Happy Reading my Friends.

Loved this sweet short story

I wish that it was longer, although the characters and storyline were well-developed. The idea of two.people fitting together like pieces of a puzzle is so romantic, yet intriguing as well. This book renewed my romantic side when I was reminded that love must be fed to be sustained and healthy.

Thanks for a very goodread. I got this book tnrough a mass giveaway, and i have no connection to the author or publisher.

This was a wonderful story. I really like Elle and Graham and feel terrible about what happened when they were young, what someone did to interfere and how quick it was forgiven. I wasn’t really happy with Lacey when she got angry at Elle for not wanting to do some of the things Jason suggested. I am glad that the issues with her app got worked out. I was so happy with the ending and when the author wrote “Their hands were a perfect fit. Just like puzzle pieces”.

A quick read with likable characters but they definitely need to learn how to communicate better. Their words and actions need to mesh as well. Issues from ten years before are finally getting resolved, or are they? Would have liked more buildup before the potential happily ever after and ending since there seemed to be more story to tell. Surprisingly there was a depth to the story and the characters.

This was an enjoyable romantic novella about Elle Montgomery and Graham Dalton. Elle has created a dating app that is losing it’s ranking and needs some help. Graham has returned home to San Francisco for his brother’s wedding and to possibly expand his business there. Elle and Graham get thrown together as a pretend couple to help her company. Old feelings kick in and they turn pretend into real.

The love story of two childhood friends who had crushes on each other but the other didn't know. Graham and Elle are thrown together "fake dating" in order to help her dating app. When the fake dating leads to the very real acknowledgment of their feelings, will they give in to love? Highly recommended for fans of the Poppy Creek series. You can read the rest of their story in the novella Poppy Petals.

This was an okay, quick read. The main character got on my nerves a bit as she was constantly deciding she needed to make a certain decision and then immediately letting herself get talked out of it. That is something I find very frustrating and it really keeps me from being able to fully enjoy a book, so for me personally, this was just okay.

Elle owns a dating app called Puzzles designed to help people find their perfect puzzle piece. Could he single status be sabotaging her business? Could an old friend from high school be the solution?

Graham was surprised that he was asked to be the pretend boyfriend, but he was all too eager to play the part since he’s had a crush on Elle for years.

Cute and sweet. An okay romance.

I wish that we could give 1/2 stars. I would have given 4.5 stars. It is a charming short story. At times, it was hard to believe. Elle and Graham have known each other for about 15 years or more. I would have expected a more honest an open relationship. The setting sounds amazing. Friendships, business, and a wedding wrapped up in puzzles.

Really cool!

This was an enjoyable book.
Elle has an app company to help couples find each other, yet she's not found someone. Or has she?
The one she loves, loves her. Yet wires were crossed long ago, and that truth was buried.
This is their story.

As the puzzle fits.

Communication and lack of it. It keeps relationships from growing. Sometimes it takes practicing over the years to perfect it. But when it happens, it is enthralling

The story started off slowly for me but got much better as it progressed. I don't buy that Graham & Elle just ignored/looked past what xx(spoiler) did to cause their decade long rift so that's why I left the rating at 3 stars.

An all too short ( maybe it seemed like that to me) but sweet second chance story. I cannot wait to read more from this author.
