With that out of the way, let's begin.
This is the blah, blah, blah section. You know the author’s “glory page” where he gets to tell you grandiose things about himself and the deeper meaning of his work. Whatever.

I write books. Seriously, that's what I get to do every day. It's great.

I have been fortunate to author some that have achieved bestseller status, including The Hunters Series of mystery suspense thrillers. It took me a lot of years to get to that point, but I wouldn't trade any of them for a minute. I love writing books for you and the journey that brought me here.

I am a native of the south, Georgia specifically. I spent much of my life there, but I have lived in many other places as well. We moved a lot when I was young. Eventually, we ended up back in Georgia in my teens where I finished school and went to work.

I wanted to write from an early age. A really long time ago, when I was still a young police officer in Georgia, I was writing short stories in my spare time and sending them off to magazines. One day I received one back in the mail.

Life Happened

Attached to it was a nice handwritten letter from an editor (this was long before the days of email and texts). The story manuscript was folded and smudged, and there were coffee cup rings on the edges of a couple of pages, which told me they had actually read it, maybe discussed it around an editorial table, or just used it to sop up the coffee.

In her letter, the editor said a lot of things that I don't remember, but it was not the usual form letter that I was accustomed to receiving. It was original and personal.

She said they liked my story, had strongly considered it for publication, but that it wasn't quite believable. Disappointed as I was, I was struck by her last words to me..."Don't stop writing. You're good at this. We almost bought this one."

I remember staring at that a long time. Then I folded it up and tucked it in a file and...stopped writing.

I wish I could tell you a different story, but I can't. I stopped writing for many years.

There were lots of reasons. Yes, I was disappointed, but the letter that should have encouraged me not to give up was forgotten.

Life happened. Dreams of writing were pushed aside by other things...important things.

Mostly I needed money for my young family. In the 1970s, police officers in Georgia were not paid a lot even by the standards of the day. I worked part-time jobs whenever I wasn't working at the police department. Many weeks I had no days off at all.

I'm not unhappy that I did my best to take care of my family. It was the right thing to do and working for them was the joy of my life.

Children grew up; then grandchildren came along. More life happened.

Then...The Internet Appeared

Out of the blue, this thing called the internet appeared and guess what. I was at a point in life when I didn't need to work part-time jobs every spare minute of the day. I could write again.

It's different these days. I can publish a book whether I convince an agent or editor to read it or not. I am an independent writer/publisher, an “Indie.”

It’s a partnership between us, writer and reader, and it's a marvelous thing.

Don't be a Follower -- Make Your Dream Real

It took many years to get here. Life is like that, with lots of twists and turns and surprises. I like it that way.

Now, I write every day, so here's my parting advice.
Don’t follow your dreams. Followers get nowhere except up the backside of the person in front.

Work and make your dream a reality.

Glenn Trust is an excellent writer. Here is a strong female protagonist who has been in all sorts of difficult situations yet continues on with a good heart. She is kidnapped in the first book. She goes up against the Vegas mob in the second and in the third tends bar on a tiny key in Florida. Alice Trent overcomes each time by her understanding of people’s strengths and weaknesses. I’m so glad that there are more books to the series. I don’t believe that I’ve ever been so invested in a series before.

Blue eyes

Blue eyes are my weakness. I can understand how people fell under the blue eyed spell.
When I started reading, I really had trouble getting to grips with the story/characters.... but I endured.... and let me tell you, I really am glad I did.
Riveting, drugging, suspense.
Read it. It is worth it. It is a great story, wonderful characters

Great story, endearing characters.

I want more Alive adventures. I am glad that the digital age has freed you to write. However, I am a careful reader and got distracted often by the numerous errors that would have been caught by an editor. You should at least have someone proofread your work before you decide it ready for publication.

A fantastic suspense series

This was an intriguing, complex, and suspenseful collection of stories that you definitely don't want to miss. There were many unexpected twists and turns throughout the series, but the most difficult one was at the end. I was really hoping that there would be more stories.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

Quite enjoyable especially the Las Vegas story, thought the Key West story felt rushed, not as much depth to it. Really liked the inclusion of Barry throughout the book but felt his sexual attraction to Alice was ‘off’.

Great books

All three books are great, especially the last one. Alice always has a plan to fix things, but then she has to disappear. I would have given a five except for the profanity and explicit sex scenes. I can't tolerate that.

If you enjoy a story with a lot of emotion, suspense, great characters, and believability, you will absolutely love this series by Trust. The author is a true wordsmith with classic southern roots. Each story can be read as a stand alone, but you definitely want to read them in order.

This is a great collection of stories featuring a main character who has a checkered past and a propensity towards vigilante action. Her heart is in the right place, and she wins admiration and respect from all, especially those in need. You will find it impossible to set these books aside to get on with the rest of your life!

Interesting set

I was a little disappointed thinking that there was going to be six different mystery books. Instead it was about the same person but different scenarios. It was a little boring. Not what I expected.

Journey

Graphic sex and a healthy dose of “f” word vocabulary. Not my kind of literature, as there are better things to read.

Made it to 4% before the profanity

Made it to 4% before the profanity started. Small minds need profanity to fill their pages. I’m not interested! Deleted!

Had to get the other 3 in the series

Her blue eyes may have captivated men but the story line has captivated me. Trust did a very compelling job with this series.

I read this series in one day. I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed the plot immensely! I loved the characters and everything about the book. I need to know what happens. I loved how the author killed a main character in one version and then when on to keep him alive in the next. Very clever of this author. I will be reading more of this series.
