So I finished another webnovel again. Is this my trend for this year? Webnovel all year long? Hopefully not. I have lots of eARCs to read but for now I'm enjoying reading webnovels so yolo.😅

So for this we have our main protagonist Xu Ziyue. He died and binded to a Love Capture System. He will travel to different worlds and his main objective is to make an NPC fall for him. Xu Ziyue is a face-con and tends to fall easily.

The funny premise of this book is that our MC will be joined by other players in that world but they will be playing a different game and following different sets of rules. So our MC is playing a dating game-ish kind of game but others might be doing a horror or survival game.

It was cute and funny at the start but the MC is kinda shallow and I really feel for the other players who are trying their best to stay alive while he is surrounded by pink hearts of love.

The setup of the games/worlds are very partial to our MC so it kinda got boring at some point. Oh and the worlds made the flow of the story disjointed for me. The conclusion was a bit rushed in my opinion.

There are some cute parts and funny ones. Not that long of a novel. The ML for each world has issues of their own and I did not connect on most of them. The doll is cute though. It was a nice read.👍

Compared to the usual limited flow, our main character (Xu Ziyue) has to find love instead of playing the games and loves anyone that’s good-looking, man or woman. Of course, every time, our ML is the one that’s the most good-looking in each game arc and is the boss for that level.

There isn’t really any character progression. Ziyue stays the same throughout. He never learns to love beyond a good-looking face. Though I guess you can say he does a little bit towards the end, but the main reason for his love doesn’t change. He also has no regard for the other players whilst they’re all dying trying to complete the real purpose of the games. All in all, he is a very shallow person.

Our ML is just part of the system and changes every arc. I did think the 4th arc when he was Gu Ze was just weird with all that minor talk. Again nothing much to say, they pretty much had the same personality in each arc. Though I did find arc 3 a little cute.

I feel the author also just had enough and didn’t have much inspiration to work on. The ending was very rushed and you could tell they just wanted to wrap it up. Which I’m not surprised about because they gave themselves nothing to develop. I did feel like dropping this a few times but in the end I stuck with it. If anyone feels like dropping it, you’re not missing out on the ending because each arc really is the same with a different setting.

Depends what you’re looking to read, I guess it’s not a serious novel but I feel there are better light-hearted ones to be reading. If you want an unserious unlimited flow, with a dumb MC and yandere ML with little world building then this is for you.

This quick transmitigation story is really good! Each arc feels fresh and richly developed, and unlike most romance horror stories, I felt like the horror elements were quite scary. The characters all have their unique personalities. The only downside, as others commented, is that the ending is quite abrupt.


This story really could have used another couple side stories to resolve the issue of the woman he was working with (and supposed to help rescue), Jin (who I feel is heartlessly abandoned again), revisit each of the gongs again, etc.

However, the ending itself I thought was perfectly fine. It wraps up with a reason why there is a love system in a horror game, and ends with the system incorporating all the men who lived the shou. I just wished that the story showed more of the love from other characters that the main system said made him curious about life.


In the end, I think the story was really interesting, with a great plot for every arc. I'm not a huge fan of the guy falling in love with characters based on their appearance, and I wished the author had tried harder to address the problem with this. However, I do think everyone grows a little in the end, and you can tell that the shou does have some deeper sense of love, not just the love for his partners' appearance. Or maybe that's just my wishful thinking.


You should definitely read this on the translators' webpage because I feel the translator has some of the most perfect comments for each chapter. And scanning the readers' comments after each chapter really added to the reading experience.

La historia es muy adictiva y divertida en especial cuando nuestro shou se auto engaña a si mismo en el primer mundo para evitar la realidad que que estaba saliendo con el Boss o sus momentos de borrachera, también me gusto que se viera como si hubo desarrollo del personaje al pasar de una atracción a las caras bonitas a preocuparse por los sentimientos de sus parejas en especial durante el último arco se muestra por un momento que el sabia que estaba enamorado pero no quería decirlo en voz alta ¿colo los reconocería el el ultimo arco si lo estuviera atento a más que unas simples caras? Lo único que no me gusto fue ese final tan abrupto quiere decir todo bien hasta que se fue a explorar pero de allí en adelante tengo sentimientos encontrados. Si, me gusto verlos de nuevo a todos (en especial el muñequito mi corazón aún sangra por el) pero no me gusto como terminan todo no explican que paso con la mujer que el iba a ayudar a salir del sanatorio (me caía muy bien y es frustrante no saber si sobrevivió) tampoco te explican como interactuarian todas las personalidades dentro del sistema quiero decir aja se quedo con todos muy bien pero son distintos el sistema sufrirá de cambios de personalidad ¿o como? ¿Las personalidades que conocemos de los boss serán absorbidas y reorientadas hacia la del sistema? ¡nadie explica eso! Y el único extra no nos da luz siento un vacío en mi al pensar en este final si no fuera por eso le daría 5 estrellas

I have no idea why I continued reading it. A lot of things in it did not sit right with me. The plot was way too messy and there were so many loose ends. Also, it felt like random information was being shoved down my throat which had no connection with the story or the characters in a whole. I think I only really liked one arc in the entire book, which is saying a lot. I should've stopped after knowing that it would be a chore to get through everything but I didn't because I wanted to finish it (especially after spending so long with this one it would be way too annoying to not finish the story and see the ending)

This was not a good introduction to quick transmigration novels, I wish I had chosen the other more popular ones. The only thing I really liked was that in the first couple of arcs, the horror was actually quite well written, but that too turned boring and repetitive in the later ones. Also, I feel that after going around so much in circles, the novel did not even have a satisfactory ending to it! I feel like half of the time was wasted on useless things, rather than moving the story forward. God, one of my main goals is to dnf boring books in the speed of lighting in 2026. What a way to end it.

Although the novel was entertaining, I think I prefer I Rely on Kisses to Clear Survival Games more than this one, considering the similar concept of the game, although the villa of the dolls did scare me for a moment XD

The ending was less than satisfactory, rushed, almost as if it had been thought at the last minute. I would have liked to know more gradually to know the truth of the system, although it was quite, I do not want to say 'obvious', but evident when the interactions of the system with the protagonist were seen so clearly biased. Another thing that I would have preferred is more detail in the personality of each target as well as a more important role in the CG's that he won from each game.

The secondary characters have little weight in this novel, except for a couple, like this Jin'er and the girl who helps him on the luxury cruise and the hospital, we do not have important interactions with anyone else, and which in my opinion it lowers points.

I think that the funny moments of the novel were spot on, and more than once I laughed out loud, so for this detail and others I will look for more author's work.

This was a really fun read, it could have been better if some of the plotholes were filled out and the story was better planned out (the author repeatedly notes that she had started the story for fun and didn't plan much). The blend of horror, comedy, and romance was very enjoyable, however. The third arc broke my heart into a million pieces, I haven't cried that hard in a long time.

One thing to note, for those who might not like this is: although it is technically 1v1 .i.e. ML is the same person throughout, it also isn't exactly like that. It feels more like each person was a different splintered personality with bits and pieces of some of the previous personalities mixed in, and only at the end are they all brought together. So it did feel a little harem-y especially in the last arc where spoiler spoiler spoiler all personalities existed as separate beings.

But having said that, still recommend if you like horror and BL.

Cerita nya menarik. MC yg face con akut ikut dalam love capture game. MC cukup memilih salah satu NPC sebagai love target dan menikmati game tanpa aturan dan konsekuensi apapun. Masalahnya dalam dunia game player yg lain tidak ikut dalam game yg sama dengan MC, mereka "bermain" survival horor game, dimana konsekuensinya jika kalah dalam game yaitu mati. Mau tidak mau MC ikut terseret dalam game survival horor dan harus berpura-pura sama seperti player yg lain. ML dicerita ini secara "kebetulan" merupakan big boss disetiap arc. Disetiap akhir arc rasanya ngenes sama nasib ML yg selalu ditinggal sama MC. Kalau nggak gegara endingnya yg terlalu singkat,agak dipaksakan dan masih menimbulkan banyak pertanyaan yg belum terjawab aku bakalan kasih rating 5 ⭐. Untung nya ada ekstra 1 chapter yg lumayan ngejelasin lanjutan dari ending, yah walaupun rasanya ekstra nya kurang banyak. Masih pengen di abuse sama dog food antara MC dan ML.

First time I read about a quite dumb MC and... I don't mind????? His stupidity is quite entertaining and is linked to a very particular way of making decisions. Xu Ziyue is not boring, even if he is quite stupid.

As for the rest... the novel does not know how to develop the story with originality. Although the subplots were interesting, they all lose relevance and the last ones do not make any sense. Although it is at least a light novel to read, the final part is abrupt, absurd, and typical.

As for me, this is NOT a love story. There are no real feelings at any point. The MC chases the different MLs because that's his goal (and some become very unromantically obsessed with him). As has happened in other books of this genre, the MLs are so different from each other that it makes no sense for them to be parts of the same person. Once again, the author makes a cowardly decision to end the book.

Es entrenada pero el final fue algo apresurado y dejaba unas cosas inconclusas asi como el mc realmente no mostro "amor" por el ml y el ml era tan deboto a el mc que cuesta,pero también fue una lectura que disfrute Es ligera, graciosa y entretenida así como la idea de un juego de citas en uno de supervivencia , también disfrute el último arco y el como picó a poco te iban mostrando a lis jefes pasados fue tan nostálgico volverlos a ver y me encantaron todos, el MC es alguien extremadamente superficial lo cual es llamativo por que no es común de ver pero en vez de odiarlo era tan lindo y algo tonto y no me molesto tanto su forma de ser lo cual creo es muy importante ya que como puedes leer una novela donde odias al mc? Así que a pesar que pudo ser odioso no lo fue y eso es bueno, pero el final como dije me quedo a deber aobque el extra fue linda esa comida para perros.

Si tuviese que describir la impresión que me dejó este libro sería algo así como: coger un libro en una biblioteca, comenzar a leer, y cuando llegas a la mitad, darte cuenta de que le han arrancado el resto de páginas y nunca vas a saber como acaba.
Nuestro protagonista se encuentra con el Sistema que le ofrece jugar a un juego de citas en un mundo extraño, y todo esto después de haber muerto.
No vamos mentir, la premisa de este libro es un poco inexacta pero el primer mundo que nos presenta está muy bien creado y te deja una sensación de que algo se arrastra por tu espalda al mismo tiempo que quieres ver más de los protagonistas. Pero, el ambiente de terror se va perdiendo según avanza la historia, y la parte de romanance se convierte en algo extraño según continuamos leyendo, hasta que en el últmo mundo ya no sabes que esta pasando.
Nunca sabremos que es este Sistema o que es la "enfermedad" del protagonista, como acabó aquí y, sí, hay un extra, pero ¿realmente sirve como un verdadero final?
Una historia que podría haber dado más y solo deja tramas abiertas y sin explicación.

I thought it was pretty boring. There was potential for this to be really funny and interesting, the premise sounds great: everyone else is in a horror survival game and then there's our MC who's task is to get an NPC to fall for him. The execution was lacking. After the first two arcs, it was just boring. The third arc, where there wasn't even an ML but a doll was super boring and random. It was also really obvious afterwards that the best looking guy would be the ML and the boss so there wasn't any suspense. The MC didn't even have to work to capture the target anymore either. It could also have been really funny and I just didn't think it was. I finished it but I wouldn't really recommend it.

dropped at ch 31. i find the mc annoying bc he openly admits that he doesn’t actually like the ML he just likes his face.... otherwise i would have kept reading bc i like survival game stories, i like world hopping, i like romance horror genre.. i like the comedic moments. but the mc’s inner monologues annoy me sometimes. i like his obliviousness, naivety, and shamelessness. but every time he says something about how he doesn’t like the personality he likes the face i’m like bro? rly? maybe it gets better later on as this was only a little bit thru arc 2 but i rly cant bring myself to care anymore

The end was pretty lame ngl but even if it was insta-lovey it didn't feel like that while reading.

Each time the mc said "I like... your face" I felt the need to die. He stopped saying it after a while but it was still painful.

On the other hand, I'm annoyed at the fact that because the ending is kinda abrupt I didn't get to see the ml's personalities interact... It would've been nice to have an extra with something like what happens in I Rely on Kisses to Clear Survival Games... Just for fun :D

Dunno, it just feels like I don't really know the ml at the end.

The word usage in the story is easy and really good(in my opinion?).The scenes in the story just appear in my mind like 'pop' while I'm reading it.It's a really good book but I want to advice you to read it in daytime rather than at night(well,not for horror lovers).I got all chilly that I didn't dare turn around and look toward my bedside lol.I really love MC and his cute shamelessness😂.He just simply loves ML's beautiful and handsome face!

The bosses were way more interesting than the main character who has one personality trait and that trait is loving beautiful faces. I had fun learning about the horror worlds and how other players reacted and cleared them. I also felt that the reveal of the truth of the "game" was well done, but the ending itself was rather abrupt. Overall, this was an enjoyable if somewhat predictable story, but definitely not one you want to binge read.

Es un 3.5 que pudo ser más, pero el final es muy abrupto 🤧🤧
Sun Mo y Muñequito (especialmente este último que me hizo llorar) son mis favoritos. Me encantó esta novela y me hubiera gustado que continuara pues tenía para alargar más. Presumo que tiene que ver con las nuevas normas de censura que salieron en el 2018.
También quedan huecos sobre qué secede con los secundarios 😔.
La recomiendo 💕
