The covers have been amazing on this series. The art throughout is really good as well.
”Big Trouble in Hong Kong”
Barbara is reluctantly wheeling around in Hong Kong because some roads on the internet are down.
She is immediately pushed off her wheelchair by ruffians. They try to rob and assault her. It doesn’t work out.
Meanwhile Calculator is still trying to figure out the anti-life equation to save his daughter’s life. She’s in a coma.
Barbara wheels to some contacts in the rain. She pretends to be working for Oracle. She works with them to test out some virtual reality. She talks to Chaos Larry online and he tells her he got a message from Babbage. Like the one that killed Cheese-Fiend. Barbara tells him to leave town and stay off-line.
Oracle links up to the Alta Viva game and tries to make copies, taking out some of Babbage’s equation. But he notices and is going to take it out on Chaos Larry.
This was good. Better than average. 4 stars.
