Don't mix business with pleasure. Simple. Until it isn't.

Ellis Worthington has something I need, and I refuse to be intimidated by his demanding reputation. I can barely stand him, but I need a job. I make my living tackling other people’s problems. The bigger the scandal, the more I want in—at least until I’m the center of the scandal. Now, I need Ellis and his mess to redeem myself.

My first challenge is convincing him to take me on. The second is ignoring the relentless attraction between us. But the biggest challenge? The more time I spend with him, the more I wonder if crossing that invisible line is worth risking everything.

Jennifer Domenico

Jennifer Domenico writes contemporary and erotic romances. She loves alpha males with a soft spot, flawed characters, and strong, sassy women. Her characters usually have a side of kink and aren't afraid to demand what they want. The author doesn't apologize for that. She's a sucker for a happy ending as long as it comes with a lot of heat.

She lives in Phoenix, Arizona but is a Bostonian at heart. The way to her heart can be reached with a foreign accent, a shot of Fireball, and an unlimited supply of cupcakes.

She is also known under her alter ego, Jaelyn LaStoria, author of time traveling romances, because why not. The first title is Lost Within.

Jennifer is meant to share her stories with the world and she proves it once again as Ellis and Avery are my new favorite couple. They exude sex appeal and I loved the heat and tension as they tried to keep their feelings at bay due to their business arrangement. Their witty banter made me smile and laugh out loud. I could not get enough of these two. They give a whole new meaning to the term “power couple.”

Ellis has a smokin hot accent that I love and I would totally be his girl for life! He gives me goosebumps as soon as he commands the room. Holy cow the sex scenes between these two could start my kindle on fire. The secondary characters just added more joy and spice to the story, so we got an added bonus.

Jennifer has become a one click author for me. This story will pull you in, and you won’t stop reading until the last page has been read. This book is swoon worthy, enticing and full of heat! I don’t know how they managed to mind the line for as long as they did because these two had off the charts chemistry, and I didn’t want this book to end!

Mind the Line by Jennifer Domenico is a standalone contemporary romance that is scorching hot and very much an "office" romance. Starting with a scandal, the two characters, Avery and Ellis, end up working together to put out the flames of their reputations only to start more fires in the bedroom. Well-written and well-paced this is my first book by this author but I will definitely be reading more form her in the future. The chemistry between her characters in this book, the crafted plot, the line (no-pun intended) between too real and too fake for fictional characters is balanced well. Enjoy!

Y’all!!! You have no idea how much I loved this book!!!!!! I’m a sucker for an accent, and Ellis, strong, alpha male, Ellis!!!!! What I wouldn’t give to hear him speak to me like he does to Avery! Ooh, and heck yes to Avery!!!!! In Ellis’ words, she’s definitely sexy and sassy!!! It’s not your typical “office romance” but they do have a professional relationship with each other and there’s so much UMPH between them you can feel it through the pages!!! *insert flame emoji* now, if you love Domenico like I do, I’ve read all her books, then you know about Enzo (from the sunflower series) and he has been my #1 from her.... Ellis is right in line with him!!!!!!!! Now I need a glass of wine to calm my girl bits down!!! Just read it!!!! It’s freakin awesome!!!!

Mind the Line is the latest contemporary romance from Jennifer Domenico. And let me tell you that this is one book you will want to read. The relationship between Ellis and Avery starts as a working relationship and there is so much push and pull between them that you just feel the tension and angst of not moving forward. I loved how strong Avery's character was, so much sass and spunk in a woman that has had a difficult time, and she knows how to put Ellis in his place. Their banter and relationship was wonderful read and watch grow from beginning to end

If you love a good slow burn romance, then Mind The Line is for you. Ellis and Avery are both knee deep in their own scandals. Despite what they originally think, they need each other more than they know. What they also need is for their working relationship to work. Key word is WORKING. But their attraction is undeniable which makes simply working together and not crossing the line into something more a herculean task. Mind the Line was an enjoyable read with just the right combo of heat, angst and heart.

Sometimes it's had to straddle the line between right and wrong or proper and just a little bit risky but Avery and Ellis's story develops around one of those imaginary lines. This is a really interesting story with awesome characters and just a touch of humor thrown in to make it fly by quickly. I really enjoyed this book.

A captivating and entertaining contemporary romance

Mind the Line is a boss-employee contemporary romance with plenty of feels plus a wonderful hero and an amazing heroine. I'm a huge fan of this talented but underrated author. Experience has proven that I will usually enjoy any book with her name on and this one didn't disappoint either. Whilst workplace 'taboo' romances are usually fun to read, this had the added benefit of being mainly set in the UK, that made it a definite must read for me!

I loved Ms Domenico's writing, her characters are really well developed and they draw you completely into the story. I would so very much love to meet Ellis and Avery in real life, I want to know David, Annabel and Willis too.

Avery is a PR Miss Fixit, very successful and in demand, until a lying diva shows just how fickle friends are in LA. Ellis is a very private business man, dogged by the false accusations of a disgruntled former employee. Avery's sister and brother-in-law introduce them, hoping they can work together and be the answer the other one needs. Trouble is they are hugely attracted to each other too, but need to keep things on a purely professional footing. Can they fight their chemistry and, if not, what will the consequences be?

Avery was so focused and very professional and was strong enough to stand up to Ellis when necessary. I really liked her and found her to be very easy to believe in too. As a Brit I was really impressed with how the author made both Ellis and David feel so English. I loved the little words and phrases that she threw in, almost unnoticeable to me, that definitely boosted that 'Britishness' factor.

The pace of the book was good, the story really held my attention and, despite being a slow burn, it had a very steamy feel to it with lots of sexual tension between Ellis and Avery. In fact this is a book that is full of emotion, not only between the main characters but also within their circle of family and friends.

It just felt nicely different to so many bland and generic contemporary romances. This is one heck of a read that I am more than happy to recommend to family, friends and anyone looking for a well written and entertaining story.

Mind the Line by Jennifer Domenico is the story of Avery and Ellis.
Avery was a very successful PR person who is a Ms. Fixer but when a not so friend shows her true colors her reputation has dropped. Drowning in her sorrows she gets a call from her sister who talks her into coming to England to be with her and her husband. Avery then learns that they could use her help with Ellis when he is accused of something he didn't do. Avery sees this as her chance to help redeem herself along with helping Ellis but the sparks are going off between the two.
This is my first book by this author, but I hope to read more from her in the future.

I found this story entertaining and enjoyable. It starts with a scandal. There's scandal throughout the book. Yet it was a believable story. Two people, never expecting to find "the one" begin a working relationship, but are unable to mind the line and ultimately cross the line into a personal relationship.

I have to agree with Avery that the British accent is hot, hawt, haute. I loved their trip to Paris. Having been previously, I enjoyed revisiting the Eiffel Tower and the Palace of Versailles. Plus let's not forget the English and French meals we read about.

I found the best parts of this book were seeing how strong Avery is. She is not a wilting flower and she knows when and how to make a point. I loved her little bit of snark, but with moments of genuine love, like and respect. Finally, I found Ellis a breath of fresh air. He let Avery take the lead even though it was not in his nature. He knew when to let her handle things and he let her shine.

This is only the second book by this author that I have read, but I would love to see more from her.

This starts out with Avery who’s the be all publicist in LA involved in a scandal and losing her clients left and right. She’s having a drink and feeling sorry for herself when her twin sister calls from London. Her sis talks her into coming over to see her and her bro in law. It just so happens that David the bil has a friend/coworker who has been accused of sexual harassment and they want Avery to take Ellis on as a client. Sparks fly as they meet. Both are sarcastic and not really sure they want to do this but Avery really needs this to get back on her feet.
This begins the slow burn and sexual tension between them. They know they can’t act on this and so the story goes on. Ellis is a very private person and doesn’t like that he’s the one the media is focused on but Avery is good at what she does, just trust me she tells him.
I liked the storyline I just thought it dragged on a bit longer than needed.

5 stars! Loved it!

I loved Ellis and Avery’s story. Once I started, I couldn’t stop. It’s an easy, scorching slow-burn read. There’s no angst, just a bit of conflict because these characters are attracted to each other, but can’t act on it.

“I become impetuous when she’s near, forgetting all my own rules. I do not have personal relationships with colleagues. No exceptions.”

I was so smitten with Ellis; 😍 he’s the perfect book boyfriend! The sexual tension and sex scenes were hot too. I loved the buildup, the witty banter, the characters and everything! I highlighted tons of quotes too! I had a smile the entire time while reading it.

Jennifer Domenico pours her heart and soul into these wonderful stories that I cannot get enough of. This is why she remains one of my favorite authors. Can’t wait to read her next book!

This is my first book by Jennifer Domenico and I very much enjoyed it. Ellis and Avery's romance borders on epic proportions. So much happens in such a short span of time for the couple. But I guess all good romances should have a few ups and downs.
When I read romance novels I prefer my characters to get to the good stuff fairly early on. But something has to be said about a slow burn romance book. Jennifer does this superbly. So many times I practically yelled for Avery and Ellis to just give in to their attraction. But I have to say that when they finally did - oh my Lord it was worth the wait. I think my kindle just about melted.
Now I just need to check Jennifer's earlier novels and pick which one I want to read next.

Avery is a successful PR agent who now finds herself on the wrong end of negative publicity rather than fixing it for her clients. She heads to England to spend time with her sister and brother in-law and winds up with a new client as well.

Ellis values his privacy so when he finds himself on the wrong end of a scandal he just wants it resolved. There is no denying that they can help each other professional but they need to deny the chemistry between them as the last thing either of them needs is another scandal.

This is a slow burning romance filled with heat and humorous banter. Ellis is enough to make you swoon and Avery gives as good as she gets and it was great to see them finally cross that line!

I enjoyed reading this story. Avery and Ellis meet each other and the chemistry is instant. Avery is going to work for Ellis since she has been through a disaster and needed a fresh start. Ellis is the charming, extremely good looking, generous, and all around good guy, but experiencing a dark spot on his image. Avery and Ellis both feel the insane connection they have, but choose to be professional and ignore the possibility of being together. Avery and Ellis take you on a funny, fire burning, sweet journey. This story is filled with humor and moments where you wondered if they will actually give in to each other. Definitely read this book!

Basically our main girl is a publicist without a client, and her brother in law's friend is in need of a publicist whether he agrees or not.
Once I got past the first chapter I started to like the story more. The introduction to the character was almost reality TV drama- like. Not my favorite.
But, as the story went on it was funny at times. Both characters are kind of witty and smart alecks. I liked that they both desired the other, but didn't immediately rush into the sex and I love you statements.

What do you do when your client is off limits but you so want to break that rule? Well Avery is committed to helping Ellis get his reputation back on track and until then she has to keep her feelings hidden. Ellis is attracted to her and isnt sure he needs to be fixed for the public but he will do what it takes to keep his company moving forward. I couldn't put this book down until I turned the last page and this is just another great book by Jennifer Domenico. Grab your copy today and you will be hooked after page one.

I loved this book about Avery’s turn to find love. When Avery’s life turns into a nightmare, her twin sister, Annabelle, talks her into moving to London to be with her. When she first arrives, David, Annabelle’s husband, introduces her to his boss, Ellis. This meeting will change Avery’s life! I highly recommend this book!
