This book started out kind of weird in a way till you find out why she did this to her husband. Why were all these crazy things happening to him. After her husband called White and another young man escaped and run into more happenings does stuff start to make more sense. White turned out to have more of a family then he thought he did . Good or bad he soon found more of them. Boy was he surprised what he did find never expecting why this town was so strange and you hardly ever seen anyone out side.

Another great book in the series. These stories just get better and better the more I continue to read them and the more we learn about the characters. Love this series so much.

Good book
If you like taken or tanner at all, you will enjoy this book. It is just as good as any book in the series.

Loose ends
This is another great addition to the series and a KU library read. Book eight ended with a teaser which leads to strained relations between the Whites. Jessica turns to an expert in aberrant psychology for help while her husband is approached with a job offer that embraces his dark side. A couple of loose ends from previous books are tied up, but others remain loose. This book gets 4.5 stars and provides the springboard for book ten.
