Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.
Note: WorldCat is an excellent resource for finding author information and contents of anthologies.
Really need half-star increments for ratings, as this really is between a 3 and 4-star book. The book design, the artwork and the concept of basing stories around 35 Megadeth songs are all 5-star worthy, but the inconsistency of the stories dips all the way down to a couple of stars at times... just like 'Heavy Metal' magazine itself.
Then again, if I was all hopped up on Plutonian Nyborg like pilots Edsel and Zeke in the 'So Beautiful & So Dangerous' segment of the 1981 'Heavy Metal' film, then all of these tales might've made perfect sense.
Very awesome seeing so many different representations of Vic. Slightly disappointed there weren't more lyrics quoted in the stories. Huge book, and great quality as well.
