Gary is a bear who loves to talk, but for others who are around him this is a little bit annoying.
Then, he tries to find someone fond of talking, just like him.
He reaches an island full of birds and they try to communicate (Which is hard, because we have two different animals, right?).
By the end, they are able to understand each other in a very funny way <3

Cute book, cute story, but a little bit confusing.
The illustrations caught my special attention!

A very clever story about overcoming language barriers, teaching little ones about facial expressions as well as finding a place to fit in instead of changing yourself to appeal to others. Very funny illustrations which are bound to appeal to little ones and adults alike, making Chatterbox Bear certain to become a family favourite.

Read aloud to a class of year six and they enjoyed the book, the class enjoyed getting involved with making the sounds in the book. Everyone agreed it can be used in every year but would be better for key stage one children.
