To taste freedom is a slave's dream, but can it truly be one's reality?

Escaping Thom's cruel hands has offered me a breath of fresh air. To feel the consensual touch of others and find pleasure in our heartbreak and shared pain has given me a chance to heal. Our pasts have defined each of us, and though none of us are perfect, we strive for the same blissful dream.

For a mere moment, I believe that I'm free from Thom’s shackles of pain and humiliation. That my legs will heal, and I'll be able to dance and discover all the hidden secrets in my magical black feathers.

I am wrong.

Thom has returned, my life is on the line, and I can only hope the men who relieved some of the lingering pain in my body, heart, and soul can rise to the challenge against the man who is intent on owning — and ruining — me.

Confrontation, fights, and the precarious decisions threaten us as I try to stay alive and defy my Master. My men were the salvation I needed to spread my wings, and it's time for me fly. Time for me to help them as we fight for what we believe in.

A war has begun, and all I can hope is that I find the strength to lead us to victory.

No spoilers of any kind included.
I thought Dark Swan was awesome!
But then again I think just about every book that Yumoyori Wilson writes is awesome, she’s an amazing story weaver.
So it’s going to be a big HECK YEAH I most definitely do recommend this book but if you haven’t read the first book then I highly suggest that you do.

Dark Swan 2

Once again I have to simply state at the beginning how wonderfully expressive and creative this author is. Her ability to express deep emotional ties and shifting POV’s of her characters while keeping the flow of the story flowing is essential in this series.

I was caught up in the life and world of our black swan shifter Sophia, this book opened up at the exact moment the original book ended, and we get to see how her men not only saved her, but also saved the themselves from being captured by the ‘Masters’ and their army of loyal guards.

Through the emotional ups and downs in this book, we see Sophia’s emotional growth and growth in her growing powers and understanding of what she is truly capable of doing. She isn’t irrevocably broken, she was just slightly damaged during her dark years with her Master, she knew love and loss, but still was able to find moments of happiness in her memories of her parents and she never allowed herself to lose hope.

Now Sophia is giving that love and hope to her men, showing them that their past doesn’t define them, didn’t defeat them, and they no longer need to be controlled by their old memories. They can quit the old habits their Masters forced on them, and become the men they were always meant to be!

If you are looking for your next book addiction then look no further! This book has everything you need and so much more!

🦢Great 👍🏻 read ...really enjoyed the story of a beautiful dark swan 🦢 shifter held captive by a disgusting , abusive , nasty piece of work who treats shifters as slaves 😡 I wanted to jump in the book 📖 and give that Thom master a good old slap 👋 ...there are a lot of triggers in this book 📖 as it’s not just beatings , but sexual and mental abuse ....but it also has love and passion too by some kindred spirits 🦁🐺🐆🐻 ...this book 📖 kept me entertained and hooked from beginning to end 😊

A gorgeous second story for Sophia, an abused black swan shifter, and her brave and compassionate men. With rebellion and war on the way, the shifters have a choice to make. Fight for freedom or die. It's a tragic, cruel world, but Yumoyori Wilson has a knack for infusing hope into the bleakest of situations. Dark Swan is sexy, thrilling, and full of surprises. I defintely recommend this book!

I really like this dark side

This series has more depth than some of the others and I appreciate that so much. The characters are rough and have struggles. It's a good series!

Good

Love this author and I find this series very interesting. I wish she would shift into a swan that would be so cool. The story Picks right up from book 1 and it’s not as dark.

I absolutely love how the 2nd book starts off right where we left off in the first book. This book builds the relationships between the characters surrounding our beautiful swan. I love the dark concepts in this book because it makes you think about how the world can be a darker place. Also that ending leaves me wanting more.
