Beautiful Beasts Academy #2

Diamonds and Demons

Rate this book
A best friend is more than someone who shares laughter and tears… They also know the best places to hide a body.
Academy life isn’t what I expected. Fangs, fur...demonic bunnies everywhere we turn. Oh, and the Wolves. Three gorgeous Wolves who make my dead heart come to life. Judas, Bond...and Nero. Add in a sexy new Vamp teacher and my new role as Understudy to the most Ancient and powerful of our kind, and you’ve got one hot and conflicted class schedule.
But as classes begin, yet another creature stumbles into my room in the dead of night. And he leaves behind a bag filled with diamonds. Only they’re not like any diamonds I’ve ever seen before. Darkness moves through the halls at Bestias Academy. A new threat makes itself known.
And it’s got its sight set on me.
My world becomes three things. Diamonds, Demons and death....
No Demon bunnies were harmed in the making of this story. Slow burn Reverse Harem with kickass characters and hunky wolves.

New dangers, higher stakes, action, tension, and mystery drive the story as the FMC uncovers deeper secrets while navigating complex relationships with the academy’s powerful beings.
It was intriguing, and I’m excited to see how the story progresses in the following books.

These wonderfully wacky ladies have done it again, I really love this academy series as the storey is intriguing and the characters are all amazing. The Storey starts to progress in this book and Mor’s power starts to show although her relationship with the wolves is a bit rocky but hey life happens and can be bumpy from time to time so I hope that they come together more in the next book and look forward to more romance and heat as that was missing a little from this book. That said in one or two places the angst/heat was really good although sulky wolves art so good – smash things up angry would have been better.
Mor is a fantastic lead Heroine as she has an air of vulnerability about her and isn't a kick ass heroine from page one.
Didn’t see as much of Check and Ava as I would have liked hope that develops more in the next book but Ava is a strong a personality as Mor which is brilliant and is loved just much by myself and I assume a lot of the fans of this book.
This is a good continuation of the storey and I will give it 5 starts as there isn’t a 4.5 star option which I believe it should be as it isn’t quite as good as the first book – that saying the first book as absolutely amazing so this ad a lot to live up to. I can’t wait for the next instalment so come on you Crazy ladies please surprise and wow us hopefully getting back up to the brilliantness of book 1.

This was an entertaining read. It picks up after the first one left off and we get to see and know more of the characters in this one. I would recommend reading the first one prior to this. We get to see Mor building her friendship with Ava and more of a relationship with her three wolves. Kisses are involved this time around. It is definitely a slow burn and build with the romance relationship but it feels genuine for them as they are dealing with everything else. Mor has become a target again it seems but this time the motive is not as clear. She has been given a bag of diamonds that keep causing problems and won’t go away and demons are coming out but no one knows what the connection is and what is going on. It is up to Mor and her group to figure things out before it all goes real bad. I liked the way that the story flowed and the characters. This was an easy and entertaining one to listen to and will definitely be continuing the series.

Morwenna didn't expect academy life to be so dangerous. She starts a new class with a gorgeous vampire teacher and can't seem to get rid of a cursed bag of diamonds. Her feelings are complicated further with the three hot werewolves in her life. At least she has her bestie, Ava by her side. Nothing can go wrong if they just stick together... Right?!

This is the second book in the Beautiful Beasts Academy series, and it was just as much fun as the first. The world expands and we see more of the fighting between supernatural factions. Demons, werewolves, and vamps, oh my! There's a mysterious sickness affecting only vampires. Mor has to do something before all those she cares about are gone. Some great twists and turns. My favorite bits were with Ava. She's a fabulous character! Even though this book is darker than the first, I still laughed a lot.

I liked book 2 of the series, but the narration needs work. The narrator mispronounces words that will make you roll your eyes.

Morwenna and Ava are back at the academy for more fun and murder. Morwenna makes the mistake of inviting an obviously terrified vampire-like creature into her dorm room and when she goes to get him a glass of water he disappears leaving behind a bag of diamonds that will torment her for the rest of the book. Suddenly every demon in the area is after her and the diamonds. On top of that, all the vampires she knows are suddenly sick and practically wasting away. There is also the new teacher that is at the school just for her understudy classes, and the three hot werewolves that are all after her in a good way. Ava will still make you laugh and the feline shifters will still make you hate. Enjoy.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

I swear this book has me dying laughing while keeping me hooked to the suspense all at the same time. At one point I laughed so hard/loud my hubby actually jumped. It was great!! Things are getting complicated yet interesting for Mor and friends by this point. They keep discovering all kinds of secrets that just make them have even more questions as if school is not hard enough as is. There is even some intriguing relationship building going on with the whole group that provides a nice diversion at times. Full of mystery, suspense, humor, and so much more making it a fantastic read for fans of the genre. What do you expect when you combine two phenomenal authors?? I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Another fantastic addition to the series. Morwenna and the gang are up to their eyeballs in various shenanigans happen in Beast Academy. This fast-paced read has action, some mystery, laughable moment, and teen angst. I especially loved how the bestie (Morwenna & Ava) have each other's back. I liked that we finally got some interaction with Morwenna and her wolves even though her relationship with Judas, Bond, and Nero continues to confound her. I can't wait to see what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Frightening how things got complicated for Mon. Still unsure what to do with her strong feelings for the wolves, she had to face a new situation that had her threatened and without control. Luckily, she had loyal friends who loved her and were ready to help because the Academy was getting very dangerous and not only for her. Together Ava and Mor are so funny with their witty comments and camaraderie and I liked we got to know more about some wolf. Suspense, intriguing characters, mysterious diamonds, darkness, amusing scenes, romance, betrayal, deceit, violence, a twist in the story and lot of demons, shifters and witches in the mix. Kept me reading amused and intrigued.

Diamonds and Demons is Book 2 in the Beautiful Beasts Academy. Mila Young and Kim Faulks have again given us an exceptional book and series. Morwenna (Mor) and Ava continue to have each other's back. Their relationship is amazing as they can count on each other no matter what. Mor and her wolves (Judas, Bond & Nero) however are still not total on the same page as the boys continue to confound Mor. This book has action, mystery, humor (laugh out loud moments). Totally loving this book and series. Anxiously waiting for the next book to see where these ladies are going to take us. Receive an ARC ad this is my voluntary and honest review.

This is a cute story with a YA cutesy sweet feel.

Possible SPOILERS

Why can't things ever be normal at school for Mor? Mor just wants to fit in so why does mostly everyone hate her....Well it could be that the local wolf pack guys want her or is it because she's a high ranking vampire? Mor was given some diamond like gems and they are causing a lot of problems and she needs to figure out what is going on with them. Since Mor has been assigned her future "job" that means a new class and teacher but there is something different about him...why is the new teacher invading her dreams....

Enjoying

Enjoying this series and looking forward to learning more about this growing power of Mor's. As usual, love Ava and her quirky personality. I am confused about one thing, in the last book I remember her jumping off her balcony with no problems, but in this book when she jump down the ladder in the man hole, she fell. That didn't make since to me. Also there was never any mention to Chuck, after she realized the text didn't go through, of him retrieving the dead vampire that was in the manhole underground. Other than that, I enjoyed the book and hope that my questions will be answered in the next.

Fun But A Bit Confusing!!😳 3.5 Stars 🌟
(Read using Kindle Unlimited)

I'll be continuing with this series but the lack of any real explanation as why things have been happening is getting to be a bit much & makes the content confusing!!😔 I also noticed a lot more errors in this book, which is a real shame.😢

Ava continued to crack me up with the ability to find humour in the most dire & inappropriate of circumstances!😂🙈 Mr Leathers seemed pretty pointless to me but I'd like him to stop trying to put doubt between Mor & her men!😒💘 Judas & the boys need to step up the courting man up!!🙈

Fingers crossed that book #3 improves 🙏🌟

Diamonds and Demons (Beautiful Beasts Academy Book 2)
By Mia Going and Kim Faulks. 5 *****

Another crazy read about an academy full of shifters and how they can get into the most hilarious trouble ever, lol. Omg those bunnies were something else!!

Come join Mor and her sexy wolves as they yet again try to figure out a mystery around a bag of diamonds a vampire left Mor. Also meet a teacher that has me in stitches about his name and wardrobe selection, haha.
The laughs keep coming till the author ends it with a great cliffhanger.

I have voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

"Ding dong, the witch is dead"

Moewenna and Ava continue their weird life at the academy.
Morwenna gets help from her new teacher Negarious Leathers, to find and, hopefully, control her powers. She starts dreaming about him, which is quite the issue as shes already trying to handle her three wolves. Having hot dreams about her teacher is a bit distracting... and they dont feel like normal dreams. Is her teacher messing with her while she sleeps?

The appearance of a bag of diamonds also brings quite the mystery. Why do they keep changing colour? And why cant she get rid of them!?

We again get a great story, full of humor.

The Action Continues – Terrific Series!!

Wow.
We are still following Morwenna, princess of vampires, her bestie Ava, and Mor’s trio of wolf admirers. Mor is getting “private lessons” as she learns the responsibilities of an Ancient. A cursed “gift”, a battle for power and all the trials and tribulations of school combine into a fabulous addition to this series which just continues to get better.

The interactions and relationships bring this series to life!!

“For the love of a goat nut!”.... Buy this book!

You want action, witty one liners, completely smoochable wolves and random demon bunnies? Then you need Diamonds and Demons!

Mor and Ava are right in the thick of it again and come out swinging in this kickass follow up to Manicures & Mayhem. This story gives us the beauty of friendship and the purity of new love while still managing a kickass, well paced plot and complex (completely loveable) characters.

Loved it, lost myself in it, became addicted all over again! The dream team of Kim Faulks and Mila Young have delivered again!

**** No Spoilers ****

Must Read! This series is getting more interesting! Mor has some seriously bad luck. Mor has some crazy emotions when it comes to her wolves. Finally she decides she wants then. Her new vampire teacher is weird. Demons start doing stupid things. Everything is just chaos. Mor, Ava, Chuck and her wolves will do anything to stop the craziness! This ends in a cliffhanger, with Morwenna's dad missing.

Diamonds are not always a girl’s best friend. Thankfully for Mor her best friend is Ava and her three handsome wolves. Together they will try to make it past the new evil trying to destroy Mor and still try to make it though school.

This is the second book of the series and it is awesome. So much action and danger. Mor doesn’t do things the way she is supposed too and that isn’t always her fault. The story really shows how much dedication she has to her friends and family. And Ava always makes everyone laugh. This is a cliffhanger and I can’t wait for the next book.

Went from an ok read the first book to a " I couldn't get through this if my life depended on it. Judas and the guys are complete jerks and treat her like crap, they leave her hanging and get mad about everything, I hated them this time around, and it was so sad how far they fell in this second book. If anyone came between them it was Judas and the guys doing, but they blame her and she takes it. A doormat is not what I expected from our vampire, this books first few pages had me excited, but after that it took serious nose dive, will not be finishing this series

Things Are Heating Up

It seems that Mor is much more powerful than she realized and something happens to make her even more so. I'm the process, a plot to take down all vampires is revealed with some surprise involvement from unsuspecting parties. There seemed to be quite a bit of mayhem this time around.

Also, Mor, Judas, Bond and Nero make some progress in their relationship. There was a bit of a misunderstanding, but I loved the scene where Mor takes charge and puts things back on track.

Now, Mor and the gang have to figure out how to rescue her dad.

This is an action packed read that picks up right where the previous book left off. Mor is now the understudy for the Ancient and gets extra classes in preparation for this task. But, as we know from the previous book, there's tension between the different supernatural groups and forces are uniting against others, with Morwenna in the centre.

The relationship between Mor and her wolves is building, they are growing closer and her friendship with Ava is beyond amazing. This is a very wellpaced and overall fun read. I like it!

This book kept me guessing the whole time. Did not see that ending coming at all. Ava is still a badass best friend. I do think Ava should just start eating the dead bodies instead of them trying to find places to stash or bury them :) FYI, this is a very slow burn series. She’s spending some time with the guys, but the book definitely doesn’t revolve around their relationships. Normally not my style romance, but there’s enough action and mystery to keep me intrigued. I still have a lot of questions about the diamonds and witches. On to read the next!

Where do I start with this story? No, honestly, where? ....there was so many things going on its pages. Dangers, fights, dead bodies, enemies there where we didn’t expect them, constant mysteries. And yet again as we getting answers on some of our question we got more questions as well. Luckily there is not only mysteries and crimes but love as well, and of course friendship. I will probably jump out of my skin before next installment will come. It’s really great series.

I just love these books!!! Mor and Ava are two girls that I want to be friends with, they have such a great friendship and the things that they get up to? Priceless.... the story is amazing and I love the mystery that just keeps getting better and better with each book. This one revealed some stuff that had me going damn, didn't see that coming. And it's also making me rethink the whole diamonds are a girls best friend thing.

I am so in love with this series and Ava!! Morweena is slowly growing a favorite spot in my heart as well with everything that is happening to her. Mor's relationship with the wolves hit a rocky step and lets just say that with everything else that happened in the book I hope that they are able to smooth things over in the next book. Mor's powers are growing to the point where the mystery around it has me wanting the next book right now. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book

I knew IT!

It just couldn't end here! Now it so much more.
Choices..Save her dad first or her best friend, the wolves. GEESH!!!
I have enjoyed this series so much! The characters come to life as they are written.
When will we see the next book?
I am having a tough time waiting to see what happens. Will she save the Wolves so they can help save her Dad?
Will she realize how to use her powers more fully? Will Leathers be her Lover? Ooo ok! Write on!

Great read

This book was really good. Loved how it followed on from the first book to start a new term and fall straight back into action. The sisterhood between Mor and Ava is brilliant and with the wolves thrown in you can't ask for much better. Only thing I can say bad about the book was that there was quite a few spelling mistakes/missed words. But otherwise a great book as the story is powerful enough to forget they are there
