The book gives you a good insight into how Thailand's judicial system become what it is today. I didn't know at first that it's a collection of various articles by the author which explains how the book feels like it's going all over the places sometimes. In any case, this is the topic that I don't know much about and I've learned a lot from reading this book. Some chapters that focus on the history were kind of boring for me, though, since I'm not really interested in them.
