I write contemporary romance novels with a dash of suspense. I'm a member of Romance Writers of America and Windy City RWA.
Living in Chicagoland with my family and menagerie of dogs and cats, keeps me on my toes. When not writing or working, I love to scrapbook, watch movies and read anything I can find.
Allison Southby still has feelings for Detective Adam Byrnes who left her after spending a blissful night together. Adam also happens to be the son of Allison’s late boss. As Adam and Allison investigate the suspicious death of his father both Allison and Adam try to keep their temptations in tact. There is a lot of action and suspense and romance in this women’s mystery suspense novel. I had the pleasure of meeting the author Vanessa M. Knight at a book festival and I was impressed with this book. I really enjoyed reading this wonderfully written novel. I was not paid for this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this book. I didn't figure out until close to the end who was really behind it. The family atmosphere is great except for one. No spoilers for you from me, except it is worth the read.
