Title : The Happy Fruit Author : Hari Ram Narayanan
The book is soo adventurous, it literally take you out in a journey around the jungle. The story is about two nighteen-year old boys going to jungle in search of a fruit called The Happy Fruit. It said that those who find it and eat it won't be same anymore. And during their journey, they meet lots of people, few trying to help them and some to deviate. Ofcourse the journey won't be easy.
I have no idea who fast pacing the book was and it was soo damn interesting that we can read it out easily and I don't know how can an Author write it soo beautiful and I love the way the characters were introduced.

✨ THE HAPPY FRUIT ADVENTURES ✨ Author: Hari Ram Narayanan Genre: Fiction Fantasy Publisher: Readomania publishing I picked the book because of its title as it has the word "Adventure" in it and so I thought I should definitely give it a try. After reading the book I can say that the book is so adventurous that while reading you will feel like you are yourself moving around the jungle. Once I started to read there was no turning back. It kept me hooked until I finished the book. Two nineteen-year-old boys travels through the jungle called 'Life' in search of the 'Happy Fruit'. They meet each other at the edge of the "jungle of life" where it was said that in the jungle at the peak of "Mount Goal" there is a tree and on it grows a fruit called "Fruit of true happiness". They were on a mission of getting to the Mount Goal. Both started together but the variations and differences led them to take different paths for the same goal. The main thing which we learn from the book is how the challenges are being tackled by the boys on their journey. Basically what I learnt from the book is that we should find happiness within ourselves first rather than searching it somewhere else. Right now due to covid 19 we are unable to go out and all of us are sharing ideas about how to pass time while staying at home. So I would suggest you to read this book now and I am sure you will learn how to find happiness under the same roof too.
A book for all ages. The more mature you became, the more meaning this can offer. This book compromise of some of the daily life problems, decision making capabilities and Presented all together in a fantasy story form.
What will happen when two characters choose their way to get the fruit of happiness, but quite different by their decision making abilities. The consequences they face, are similar to what we face, but its presented with hyperbole to match the fantasy nature of the story.
According to me, this book is best to gift to your yonger brother, or some growing kid somewhere in the age grp of 14-16. This will help to embedd seeds of some morale quality in their cute little brains and heart.
And this book can be so handy for an adult, to revisit the very basic lessons of childhood, that we are intended to forgot. _________________ Very positive and unique approach - Naming of characters, and use of little and beautiful illustrations on the pages .
The Happy Fruit Adventures is a fantasy novel about two 19 year old boys named Abider and Deviator, who begin their journey in the Jungle of Life in order to get their hands on the ‘Fruit of Happiness’ on a tree that grows on ‘Mount Goal’. Before beginning their journey, they meet Master Experience, who tells them to follow the straight Path to get to their destination. After both boys, begin their journey, they come across many creatures and inhabitants of the jungle, both good and bad and they face many struggles and challenges and tasks and whether they are able to get the fruit of happiness or not is what this story is about.
Judging by its cover, (I totally judge books by the cover, among other things!) this looks like a book for children. However, because the author is a colleague, I started reading it, and I’m happy to report that I wasn’t disappointed at all. The simplicity with which the story is narrated, the innocence of the characters, and most importantly the metaphorical concepts used throughout the book make it an interesting read for adults as well as children.
This is a light, breezy, and quick read that I would have loved when I was 10 or 12, but enjoyed reading even now as an adult. I particularly liked the ending as it was unexpected and meaningful, leaving a message that would stay with me for quite some time.
I happened to read this book when I was going through a slightly rough patch in life, and as a result, some parts of the story resonated really well with me. Sometimes, when you’re going through a challenging situation, if you happen to come across something that seems to provide some of the answers, it feels like a message from the universe at the time when you needed it most.
The "Happy Fruit Adventures" is a fantasy novel about findinding the fruit of happiness in the jungle of life.the srory begin with two 19 year old boys named Abider and Deviator, who begin their journey in the Jungle of Life in order to get their hands on the ‘Fruit of Happiness’ on a tree that grows on ‘Mount Goal’. Many times, there are situations where the choice lies between what is right and what is wring.Abider and Deviator, through their decisions, teach us the result of both the choices. The story has many other characters that represent both good and bad choices and personality traits. Both Deviator and Abider face their fair share of challenges and through their respective journeys, the story shows how life is never easy even when you make the supposedly easier choices and that the difficult choice often yields a long term positive result. The story in general has a very positive impact on the reader The presentation of this book is very impressive. The narration and characterization of the story is very good. The story with it’s happy cheery vibe has a definite appeal for a reader. The cover of the book is also very attractive and give a good sense to the reader to read the book.i really liked the message delivered by the author.so highly recommend for everyone to give it a try.
This book is an absolute gem !! . . There was no flowery vocabulary, no high dose of drama but simple and succint language to make one understand where we can find the Happy Fruit. It is everywhere around us yet we fail to recognize it. . . Two 19-year old friends, Abider and Deviator decide to search for the Happy Fruit which is found on Mount Goal. To reach the Mount Goal, they need to journey through the Jungle of Life. This journey has it's own sets of adventures and on the way they are to make choices. These choices determine their journey and the path they follow and ultimately the goal they reach and the happiness they derive from it. . . The book is non-fiction wrapped beautifully in fiction and fantasy. Giving human form to all abstract nouns and weaving a story around how our life usually goes on is an extremely fresh idea. The descriptions given about pessimism, distraction, sacrifice, struggle, experience are so apt and truly describe their impact in our lives. The choices we make decides the results we get is the message that came across so well for me from the book through the lives of Abider and Deviator. . . This is an amazing book to be read across ages and at various points in life. It is a book to be read not just once but again and again to completely devour the essence of it. . . Highly recommended!!
PS: 5 Stars 🌟 are not enough to rate this wonderful book.
The blurb is written very well which gives you perfect insight of what the book is about. Here, Author has tried to portray ones journey through their life. And he has done a great job at it. Talking about how we meet different kind of people in our journey, and what effect our company has on our life. He has done this by naming the characters through thier traits, here we have giant struggle, giant sacrifice, lady pleasure, princess envy, monster pessimism, master experience and others with our two main characters named Abider and Deviater. Both of them are in search of "fruit of true happiness" and for that they have to travel to Mountain Goal by following the straight path. While one of them chooses straight path, the other one chooses easy path by discarding the Master Experience's advice. And thus begins their journey. Reading about their journey we come to know the pros and cons of following the straight path and easy path. Here we also have an 'Army of Problems' and we are shown how the two of them deal with them. Apart from this, there are whole lot of things that one can learn from this book.
When I ordered this book, I didnt thought that it would have such a classic vibe to it. You will be heavily reminded of John Bunyan's "The Pilgrim's Progress" while reading this book. (If you haven't read it yet, read it)Thanks to literature class that i knew what Pilgrims Progress was all about. So here, author has adopted that books style. Though that book had been a christian allegory, this book is about the journey of life in general, the problems we face, the decisions we take, influences we accept and so on.
This book would make you realise the mistakes that most if you had done in your life.(as it did to me) We all have that tendency of running away from problems rather than facing it head on, giving up easily and so on. And on a light note, it also made me miss those good ol' classics.
The novel can be read by all age groups(above twelve I would say, to understand the terms), as it is written in quite a simple language and it has lessons that both children's and grown ups can learn from. It also have this fairytale kind of vibe to make the reading experience more amazing and that's the strength of this book. For a debut novel, this was the best.
Book Name : The Happy Fruit Adventures Author : Hari Ram Narayanan Pages : 240 Publisher : Readomania Genre : Fantasy, Fiction Version : Paperback . #qotd: What makes you happy and you feel will keep you happy forever? . 🤷🏻♀️📓 Why read this book? This book is so well written and I would suggest everyone, also the non readers, to give this book a try because it's illustrations and innocence won't bore you. But I feel, someone who enjoys learning life lessons through stories should definitely go for this. I feel the youth would definitely love reading this book rather than many boring self-help books. 📓📓 You could read the description for more about the book and the author. 📓🤷💜 The book does influence you in a positive way. The books well written, it did remind me of Paulo Coelho's writing style (enlightening , spiritually awakening, with some morals and life lesson at many parts of the book) but not exactly a copy, but in someway they have the same essence. It's written in a way that everyone would enjoy because who doesn't like stories with life lessons or as we called as kids "moral stories". Though I would say it's not meant for kinders. Well it's a perfect gift that you would give to the lil teen in your family. There is one life lesson that the book deals with quite clearly i.e. you don't have to go far finding happiness rather start finding it near you and you might surely have more chances of getting it. During this COVID19 pandamic we are quite frustrated because we keep thinking about how happy and satisfied we would be if we were allowed to go out, if we weren't caged. We, unknowingly, keep reminding ourselves things like,"How happy we were when we had food at that restaurant, how happy we were out with our friends or a small walk outside". Rather than feeling frustrated about not having the will to be happy outside, start finding thinks that would make you happy in your house like family talks, books, knitting, spirituality, gaming etc, rather than throwing tantrum about not being happy just because you can't go out. Stay home and start finding things that can make you happy in there. That's the only way you can keep you yourself mentally healthy now. .
The Hapy Fruit Adventures by Hari Ram Narayanan 🌸236 pages 🌸 Readomania publishing 🌸Fiction fantasy 🌸₹295 BLURB- Two boys Abider and Deviator go on an adventure through the jungle of life to find the Hapy Fruit on Mountain Goal. On the way, one abides by the straight path and other deviates from it. Is it a Children's book or a fairytale? Maybe. Or it's a very Cleverly written book for both adults and children so that they can use the advice and defeat the army of problems on their own. OPINION- The cover is the first reason I chose the book. It's aesthetic and so pretty. The plot is simple, one goal, one straight path to reach there and two different approach on how to. From the beginning the story was gripping and doesn't let you keep the book down until you have completed it. Atleast that's what happened to me. The whole book seemed like Frodo going on an adventure with the ring. Ofcourse Frodo's adventure was deadlier. I got the same vibes from both the book. The narration was engaging and kept me hooked for the whole expanse of the story. The language was brilliant, nothing superfluous, easy to understand and usage of Limmericks and other literary devices. The book was fast paced yet felt just right at each place. Each battle, each endeavour was perfectly described. Each character was named perfectly- Commander courage or Filth and Scum, or Sin and Envy, even the drinks Luminance Liquor of Lethargy, Devilish Drink of Delirium, the precise effort taken to name everything is amazing. My favourite character has to be Insight, I don't know what is it with me and speaking owls, they are just so wise and cool. The illustrations were so cute, I couldn't help fawn over them. Same for the poems which added a charm to the book and felt like riddles at times. The map in the beginning surely helped me understand the path inside the jungle better. It's a moral Science book hidden in a story. The life lessons cleverly hidden are brilliant. The book was an adventure on its own and I'm so glad I decided to go on this voyage.

📖 Book Review 27 📖 ⠀ Title : The Happy Fruit Adventures Author : Hari Ram Narayan Genre : Fiction Page : 236 ⠀ 🍂 The book answers the question "What if life was a jungle and happiness a fruit within it ? ⠀ • Story revolves around two nineteen-year-old boys Abider & Deviator who are in search of the Happy Fruit in a jungle called Life. ⠀ • What challenges are they gonna face and how taking two different paths gonna change their lives? ⠀ • The Happy Fruit Adventures is an intellectually challenging read. In fact, I found reading it a relaxing experience. Although it often waxes philosophical, the story is easy to follow and absorb. It gave me a warm, comforting feeling, so perhaps would be a wonderful read when in need of a bit of a pick-me-up. I particularly liked the ending, which was unexpected yet satisfyingly complete. ⠀ However, as the book progressed I started to find the philosophical messages a little heavy-handed. Though beautifully written and poignant, they began to interfere with the flow of the story for me. There are certainly elements of a self-help book in The Happy Fruit Adventures so I would suggest reading it if you are specifically looking to be inspired, rather than simply getting lost in a story for fiction’s sake ⠀ • It's the kind of book that works on more than one level - you have your hero who goes on an adventure, learning from a wise mentor, hitting roadblocks, coming to know himself and the world around him before realising that his true treasure was in himself all along. ⠀ If you like The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, I'd suggest you to give it a try. ⠀ Ratings : 4/5 🌟 ⠀
TITLE: THE HAPPY FRUIT ADVENTURES AUTHOR: HARI RAM NARAYANA QOTD: HAVE YOU READ PANCHTANTRA IN YOUR CHILDHOOD??
What if happiness was a fruit and life and life a jungle, one had to cross to find it? Two nineteen – year –old boys named as Abider and Deviator set about a journey through a jungle called life in search of the happy fruit .before starting their journey, they meet Master Experience, who asked them to follow the straight path, to choose a good company and asked them to move along straight path despite every difficulty in their path and keep focus on the Mount Goals to reach the fruits of true happiness. Abider and Deviator start their journey and meets two giants named as giant Struggle and Giant Sacrifice as told by the master experience. Abi chose their company and Devi did not like them so he maintained his path. later in their path, they meet two women named as Lady pleasure and Lady distraction. Devi chooses their company and in this both choose their path and company. the book has many characters whose behaviour is immediately reflected by their name. This is a good book with the moral lessons which everyone knows but forgets to implement in their life. it is a perfect bedtime read for children. It would help to inculcate good qualities and the importance of hard work, courage and choosing the right company in life. The cover is really attractive and the pages have doodles which makes it more interesting. language is easy and narration is smooth .title and the cover is according to the plot. Highly recommended!!!!!
MY VIEWS:- it is a story about two nineteen-year-old boys, Abi and Devio .they both meet each other at the edge of jungle in order to have “the happy fruit” on mount goal. Both of them experience various things in the jungle. All the challenges they face depends upon the type of people they choose to start their journey with. The story will keep you hooked to the very end. I didn’t expect the book to be that interesting. All the characters have different personalities, making them even more interesting. “On their way , they come across various perils and challenges, myriad beasts, and men. From Insight -the speaking owl with a unique power , to monster pessimism- the giant snake with legs to stand on. The boys find it the most enchanting place but an evil outcast named Doctor Diablo forms an army to take control of and annihilate the jungle. And a chain of sudden events puts the teens between him and his fiendish objectives.” This book teaches that, it’s really important the way you think, people you choose to be with and how you see the world and deal with every situation. If you have I good heart nothing is impossible. I really liked the message delivered by the author. Narration is fone in a perfect manner. Characterisation is effective. Cover is really attractive. Language is easy. I recommend this book for an adventurous experience.
This book is an amazing allegorical tale. Let's start with my notion while I picked this book. From the title I was sure that it was something related to Adam and Eve and the forbidden fruit. Reading the blurb my doubts were cleared and this was a new journey. This novel is about two nineteen year old boys on a journey through the jungle called 'life ' ,in search of the happy fruit - happiness. The boys are put through various hurdles, challenges and distractions. They are tried and tested so that when they achieve what they want they deserve it. All the while reading this I felt like I was travelling through those panchtantra stories I heard in childhood. All the characters in the book are emotions and human traits personified and named. Even the main characters, Abider and Deviator are given names with a purpose. I enjoyed every flip on like a curious child, who knows the end but still enjoys the process. The illustrations are like a muse and can satisfy the inner child in the reader. The struggles, tasks and challenges the main characters go through are like I'm taking them myself. The language being simple and the narration never preaching won my heart. Enjoyed each and word in the book, and happy that this quarantine time is properly used. If you have read Gulliver's Travels, and Panchtantra and enjoyed it, then surely give this a try too.
The happy fruit adventure, it was not somthing extra ordinary to be on the 5 star list but it was definitely beyond what i expected. I thought it to be a another fictional story with some new extra ordinary characters but as you go with the book it sticks you around the story. There is a story in the book as always, but if you read this one by being into the book you will find out that the book have alot more to offer you. It offer you what every says but no one explains. . . Talking about the story line its a story about 2 boys "Abi" and "Devio". They meet each other at the edge of the "jungle of life" where it was said that in the jungle at the peak of "Mount Goal" there is a tree and on it grows a fruit called "Fruit of true happiness". Both where on the same mission of getting to the "Mount Goal" for the fruit. They decided to start there journy together. But as it is well known that ones actions, reactions and decisions are the most important thing for achieving there Goal and so is the story here. Both Abi and Devio inspite of starting the journey together choose the different company and different ways which let them to different way to face problems and to reach The Mount Goal
When drama was developing as a literary genre, there used to miracle plays. "The Happy Fruit Adventures" by Hari Ram Narayanan seems to be the prose version of the miracle plays. On reading the title, the reader is reminded of the adventure stories everyone has heard as children and Narayanan makes sure the reader gets to relive his childhood memories through the book. The presence of good and bad, fruit of happiness, experience, sacrifice etc remind the reader of canonical works like "Pilgrim's Progress" and even the bible (fruit of knowledge). The fact that this is one book which can be read by both children and adults is one close similarity that "The Happy Fruit Adventures" has with Jonathan Swift's "Gulliver's Travels". The cover of the book also makes the reader wonder about what the plot would be and at the same time also invites the reader to get involved in the book without any second thought. The plotline and the characters are both equally engaging and involve the reader equally with them. The reader too pparticipates in the journey of Abider and Deviator at an unconscious level. Their very names have a lot to say about them easily. It's one book everyone must have in their book shelves and should pass it on to the coming generations as a literary treasure.

The cover of the book shows an creative design which projects the image of man with trees , flowers and birds which given the feeling that its a forest The tile of the book "The Happy Fruit Adventures" is simple and create a idea on what the book is about which is taking an adventurous journey through the woods,

This is an adventure journey of two nineteen-year-old boys named Abi and Devio set through a jungle called ‘life’ in search of the happy fruit. The story in beginning gives a pre excerpt of the journey that is the magical world of the jungle ahead. It is like a Disney movie full of magic & unique creatures.⠀ Abi & Devio's journey has a cross crossed way. They have different paths but the same destination. All the way they experience different elements of the jungle & met different types of creatures mostly like a fairy tale. The main adventure ingredient is a typical situation between the characters and needs a final solution to discover the true fruit of happiness. I enjoyed the book from the first page to last. As I mentioned it is an adventure full of wonders along with contains some deep emotional attachments with life. Through the simple tale, the author brings a unique way to see the problems & to find their solution. ⠀ As the writing style is considered it is lucid & have a beautiful flow which makes the whole story enjoyable. My favourite part of this book is the end. It is unpredictable & seats a long-lasting chain of thoughts in the reader's mind.⠀ Totally a unique and satisfying journey. A good read indeed. ⠀ ⠀

While Abi chooses to go with Giant Struggle and Giant Sacrifice, Devio chooses the company of Ms. Pleasure and Ms. Distraction. 🏷The happy fruit adventures is a considerably good book with story of Abi. Abi is the pure soul, who was in the Jungle for adventure working for boss so that he can be helpful to those around him. Working with giants. He has a job to deliver something very precious treasuresome parcel given by the boss to deliver beyond the jungles. He has to go within disguise as sells person [ candyman] & deliver it secretly preventing it from the eyes of other vicious creatures. . 🏷Story is fantastic, narration is classy with little bit humor perfect to keep you gauging the description & cover doesn't give that much idea how good the book is. I almost convinced that this is gonna be childish book. . 🏷Ever happened with you that you are looking for an answer but it was right in front of you all the time before someone shows it you, that are my thoughts after reading this book. I mean you know the answer we just have to clarify & search for it...

I promised myself to jump on the chance to read more beautiful cover books . So, when the chance opened up to get to read this book, I took it! And yes this cover give me vibes of forest enchantment and classic books .
But this story is totally different because it taught me various things you need in your day to day life. This is a journey of person whose main goal is to get a precious fruit which grown in other Side of forest . In order to stay hidden away from bad people he disguise himself as candy seller. This is not story of one person but two friends actually and it's intresting to know their faith at end of this book. The journey which he prevails and things which he encounter is described very beautifully with some poems in between.

The book is an adventurous journey of two nineteen-year-old boys through the jungle called 'Life' in search of the 'Happy Fruit'.
They meet each other at the fringe of this jungle where it was said that in this jungle at the peak of Mount Goal there is a tree and on it grows a fruit called Fruit of true happiness. They were on a mission of getting to the Mount Goal. They have started this journey together. But the divergence and dissimilarities led them to take separate paths for the same goal. All the hurdles and challenges they face on this journey are the real life lessons. There are so many things to learn from this metaphorical fantasy tale.
I have never read anything like this before and I was really impressed by author's laconic work. I do really liked the illustrations drawn on every chapter and it's sub-chapters. The way the plot magically progresses, the profound meaning behind the character names, simple language and the added features leaves every reader in reverence. A must read for everyone.
The Happy Fruit Adventures is an interesting fantasy adventure which takes you on a journey to the Jungle Of Life with two 19-year-old boys. They are trying to find 'The Fruit Of Happiness' which when eaten, makes you super happy and content. Whether they are successful in finding that fruit or not and what happens to them through this whole journey or how it changes them for the good/bad, is what this book is all about.
Although this is an allegorical tale for life and the whole good vs evil thoughts & actions, it never even once felt preachy to me. The writing style was more focused on making the whole story nail-biting, fast-paced and at the same time keeping it simple for beginner readers or even kids to enjoy it. The moral lessons were very subtly mentioned which I loved about this book. It gave me that 'The Little Prince' book vibe.
Special mention about the cover and all the illustrations including a map of the jungle inside the book. I love when a book has cute illustrations.
The only thing that I found missing from the book was an index page :D But it is totally up to the author to include it or not, maybe I am just more old school when it comes to books. But overall, you should definitely give this book a try if you have loved reading stories like panchtantra, jatak katha, RK Narayan's books etc. It will not disappoint you.
A book that describes life and the challenges it throws upon us . How do we survive? How do we tackle them? Wait this is not a non fiction self help book.
It's a fictional book but also one that can make you learn things about life.
The comparison of happily as a fruit and life as a jungle is mind-blowing setting a solid plot. The two 19 year old boys who set out on a journey to find happiness is greatly explained in an enjoyable fictitious manner.
The challenges that are thrown at these boys and how they tackle is what we learn from the book. Most often we take the road that people take very often, the one that is well-known and easier.
I loved the meaningful naming of each character and the subsequent thought that went behind it.
A simple and an engaging narration while teaching you the life lessons makes this a great book to read .
The Uber cute illustrations are definitely a plus and kudos to the cover design and the map.
