I told myself i wasn't going to rate or review or read more from this series again.. but being a good friend.. i did..cuz my friend enjoys this series.. now this is my opinion you don't like it on well.. 😃
Hands down.. i would have loved this book. If the H and h weren't how they were sometimes..
Twister (H) lusting/wanting after Izzy (h) for about a year since their last hook up.. since she told him she doesn't do repeats.. but he still wants her and stuff but that doesn't stop him from getting his dick sucked by random clubwhores..cuz well he needs release.. :/ but heyy izzy his girl lol thank god its only mentioned and not shown.. but still nope..
As for izzy she sleeps with guys cuz she wants to punish herself for the death of her brother...(only mentioned like above still annoys me) she's in pain and her parents always call her up and blame her more about the death... 6 years she dealt with this.. and the last months she been playing Russian roulette with a gun and her life.. and how come no one not even Twister even notice it? Since he lusts after her so much?? And he knows about her past since he did some digging??
He follows her and stops her from taking her life.. now at this point you would think maybe he would get her help see someone talk??.. naww no therapist yet.. just rough sex and talking but mostly rough sex to help her get over her grief.. things seem to be working since she starting to feel alive again..
Until Izzy and kenny (h from book 1 twisters sister and izzy best friend) get into a little arguement.. and Twister is mad Izzy spilled some info.. and he said some hurtful things.. he knows she was suicidal and still working on herself.. so him saying this pissed me off.. for someone who said he cared and was always going to help her... :/
"Izzy, carry your ass out of here. You’ve done enough damage being a bitch. I’m glad to know now what type of person you are. I’m done with your ass, go ahead and do what you planned to do a month ago, you ain’t worth it. Kill yourself for all I fuckin’ care." <---- nice Hero for us...
And she almost does kill herself she was pushed that far and felt Twister doesn't love/like her she isn't worth it.. but she is saved by another MC when Twister called them feeling guilty for what he said.. (still no excuse) now she's getting help i would have wanted her to make Twister grovel more.. or work harder.. nope... lord.. you would think it be semi lighter now nope.. more drama therapist is a bitch and no one listens to izzy when she said she not getting the help she needs from the woman she doubts the relationship she has with Twister and everyone thanks to that therapist.. but Twister finally sees the error of his way and they work on it..
At this point i can't read the book anymore so much drama.. like man... so i skimmed the rest.. and theirs more drama..
She gets kidnapped gets beaten almost gets raped gets saved, gets drugged up at the hospital and almost raped by the nurse.... like lorddd
I can officially say i am bowing out from this series and author.. its just not for me..
Even if i had problems with this book.. i did like how Twister got revenge for Izzy.. he killed for her.. some of those parts were dark... like shoving a pipe or pole up her abusers ass and well sorta raping him with it... cutting off his dick.. yeah alot of gruesome scenes.. which the abuser deserved.. also Izzy getting revenge on the nurse.. glad he let her take care of that..
Why still a one star.. i found more negatives than positives.. beside above..the only thing i enjoyed was the sex and the cover..
Angst, om/om drama (clubwhore did cause some drama trying to sleep with Twister but he didnt want her & the men who kidnapped Izzy), Drama, secondary charas, sex, no virgins..

Mini-review: I'm trying to read all of these books in a bing-bang-boom fashion so I can get it out of my system. But man is it hard. These books are so bad. They're unrealistic (which I know isn't the point, but it surpasses anything believable and feels like a whole other reality), coincidences abound in a very convenient fashion. Izzy was actually going through trauma and in a moment of rage Twister screws up big time and honestly that screw up should've been the end of them, but it happened like 20% into the book so of course not. The books still follow the same pattern, to the point where I'm starting to wonder if the author has a pregnancy kink. Also there are two types of women in this universe: traumatized, sassy women and utterly deranged pyschos. There is no in between. Editing is still garbage, the smut makes me cringe and I know it's a dark romance but the constant having the MC men spank their wives into submission to teach them a lesson in talking back to them in front of their brothers makes me want to hit them in the face with a frying pan. Also thank you to my husband for his contribution of having watched "Sons of Anarchy" and telling me which parts are "borrowed" from that, like calling the girlfriends and wives "ol' lady."

Twister and Izzy are a force to be reckoned with. These two both have a past and carry baggage and pain. All Izzy wants is for the pain to go away and after all these years she’s finally ready for it to end, she didn’t expect Twister to come in and save the day. Twister is reaching out wanting to help Izzy to push through the pain and come out the other end. Will Izzy accept his help, or will she continue down the path she’s set for herself? Great read, highly recommend. I received an advance reader copy of this book.

I am so in to this series, it gets better each book. Twister has been my little ‘crush’ since Horse and Kenny’s book, kenny being his sister and he is the prez of this chapter of Devils Riot MC. Izzy is an old one night who turned out to be Kenny’s good friend and that girl does not do repeats.
He is 100% pure alpha male and she is feisty and hard on the outside but inside she is crushed and broken, the way the character is written you really feel both sides of her, the real Izzy and the persona she had made for other people she is a fab character and they just click .

Twister's Survival by E.C. Land was an awesome read. This is the third book in the Devils Riot MC series and it was amazing. This book had me laughing, crying, angry, wanting to hurt someone, rooting for the good guys and jeering the bad guys. I had all the feels. This book has action, suspense, romance, MC, revenge. The book is well written and has very likeable characters. I did not want to put the book down. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

So there are some good parts in this book and yeah I get that people say things in the heat of the moment, however the drama in this book is seriously over the top. I have no problem with the darker elements, that's what I kind of expect from this genre, if that's not your bag then maybe don't read these books. What this book lacks is depth, if it had more character development and some real emphasis and reality to be given to just a couple of big issues we would have a cracking plot. With the amount of drama over so many people out to get Izzy it became a bit of a hot mess.
There are still a few editing issues and although the author clearly has some great ideas, they need to decide which plot line to go for and give that some real focus.

Twister and Izzy! These two are explosive. The crap Izzy has had to go through is horrendous but she is one woman who has all the right people going to bat for her. Twister is NOT going to let anything happen to that woman! I love these two and the world building you got going on is really good. I love how with every book more and more is coming and it is all tying together. love this series. There are a few things that still haven't been explained but I am sure those questions will be answered. I'm totally vested in this series!

This is the first book i’ve Read in this series and I loved it. I love Twister and Izzy. Izzy has been in hell for six years. She blames herself for losing the most important person in her life. Ever since Twister saw Izzy, he has wanted her and he did. He wants her again for good. Izzy keeps denying him until one night she goes too far. Twister wants to help heal all the pain and heartache that Izzy is feeling. Izzy is a strong woman and a feisty spit fire, but at the same time she feels like her world is crumbling down on her. Twister will move heaven and earth to help Izzy heal and get past her personal demons and be happy. When threats start to happen again, Twister is hell bent on nothing happening to Izzy. This book made me laugh, cry, yell, root for the good guys, while wanting to strangle the bad. There is action, suspense, twists and love. Twister and Izzy have a connection like no other and you can tell they belong together. They are a very strong power couple. I can’t wait to read the other books in this series.

This 3rd installment of DRMC is just as amazing as the other 2! This is Twistwr and Izzy’s story. Izzy has been through some horrible times and has really hit rock bottom. Twister realizes he needs to make Izzy his and what a ride they have. Will they make it through the chaos to find each other forever? This book is one wild ride.... great characters, plot twists and action packed. This is another must read!!!

Twister and Izzy take you on a very emotional read that will make your heart fall to pieces and put it slowly back together again. With eachbtwust and turn you won't be able to stop reading it. Twister and Izzy story is not a typical romance, it will have you in tears, and laughing and it will make you want to throw your Kindle. This is an absolutely beautiful amazing and heart pounding read that won't leave anything out and have you hanging on every word.

Still needs an editor
So this author still desperately needs an editor, but her storytelling is getting better. Be warned, there is some seriously twisted stuff in this book (the shed!), but it’s definitely better than the first book and even marginally better than then second one. She has potential, so I’ll give Cleo’s book a try when it’s released.

A sinfully seductive, and suspense filled journey to go on with Twister and Izzy. This book had just the right amount of grit, intrigue, and of course steaminess to keep me on the edge of my seat. I absolutely loved this book. Can’t wait to see what comes next.

Loved Twister, but massive plot holes and crazy plots!
I really wish this had been written better. As I loved Twisters character and Izzy’s, but the plot was crazy! I can’t even write a review properly as there’s so much happening that it would take me forever.
Twister and Izzy had a one night stand, they both wanted more but Izzy wouldn’t let it happen again. When he follows her home from the bar one night, (After she had drank TWO RUMS!) he finds her about to kill herself. Izzy blames herself for her brothers death and so do her parents. Izzy agrees to be Twisters old lady so he can protect her and help her. They obviously fall in love, but this is where the plot goes crazy. With loads of different people after Izzy, plots that aren’t explained, crazy plots that just wouldn’t happen. It ruined it. I’m so disappointed as I wanted to love this book.

I read this via my ku subscription and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is book 3 in the Devils Riot MC series.

1. What's up with this not caring about getting her pregnant thing. I don't care if you have the means to have a baby. Having a baby is a lot of work, especially if you've been dating for like two days.

As the Prez of the Devils Riot MC, Twister has enough on his plate without thinking about a relationship. One nighters are fine by him, so when his sister's friend offers him a no strings attached night of the hottest sex he's ever had, Twister is in. Problem is, he wants more and Izzy doesn't. Izzy is in a world of hurt. She, along with her parents, blame her for her brothers death. After following Izzy one night, Twister decides to take it upon himself to help her realise life is with living. There are some good plots and twists in this story which I think you will enjoy. Thankfully the errors seem to be getting less and less with each book.

Ok read.
H was j/p and knew how to avenge his woman (those torture scenes were awesome)
h did a couple dumb things but for the most part was pretty levelheaded once she got her mental health straightened out.
This read more like a soap opera with drama happening back to back and out of the blue. A lot of events made no sense and there was no build up. It also seemed like they solved everything by killing people🤷🏻♀️

Pretty Good
As with the other books in this series, its good and quite worthy to be put in the reading rotation. However this so far was not the best,it was missing something and I think it was that familiar sparkle. The story flows but there are moments when tire of Izzy and her smart mouth. Sometimes she comes off like a winner rather than sassy. But there are moments when you appreciate the chemistry between the two main characters. Overall this was good solid writing and the plot was a continuation of the other stories.

A lot of drama and darkness in this one
Better pay attention to the trigger warnings in this book!
There isn't any rape int his book but the emotional trauma is just as bad. Poor Izzy goes sthrough he11 and back to get her HEA. She's a tough b*tch but it's a road to get there. I've been through some of her issues and it's hard.
The book to me kind of skimmed over some of the major issues because more pop up along the way. But I got to say it was very satisfying read in the end.
I recommend you read this series in order to get the full picture though.
Better pay attention to the trigger warnings in this book!
There isn't any rape int his book but the emotional trauma is just as bad. Poor Izzy goes sthrough he11 and back to get her HEA. She's a tough b*tch but it's a road to get there. I've been through some of her issues and it's hard.
The book to me kind of skimmed over some of the major issues because more pop up along the way. But I got to say it was very satisfying read in the end.
I recommend you read this series in order to get the full picture though.

starts right from the get go
Everything starts moving right from the get go, no easy slide into this story. I starts with a trigger from some so be aware of that. The characters are engaging making their mistakes and trying to rectify them as well as try to sort out everything that is going on around them. It’s a story with a few good twists and turns to keep you reading long after you planned to give up. We continue to get to know the older characters and meeting the newer ones while still being involved with the story we are reading. Gets addictive

Proof reading desperately needed
This is the third book in the series, with the errors in typography and grammar increasing with each book. These are juvenile and fundamental mistakes that are actually stealing any pleasure from reading these stories. Please please please start using the correct version of to or too, your or you’re, it’s or its, etc, and read through carefully because spellchecker won’t detect where ‘it’ is used instead of ‘in’ or ‘were’ appears instead of ‘we’re’.

good read
This is an interesting story. The Prez falls for is sister’s best friend whom sassy and sarcastic. They somehow seem to fit. Of course it is a bumpy journey. She is depressed. He helps realize her brother’s death was not her doing. She has family issues, her parents are not ones that people should want to become. A hidden connection to another club, a kidnapping, and a rape attempt. Lots of action. Through it all, they fall more in love. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger.

The author sets women back 100 years!
It is beyond me how the author can take a strong, independent woman and reduce her into a weak, dependent little bitch. Using sex as a weapon and control tactic is NOT sexy. Control in the bedroom can be a big turn on, but not how it was described in this book. For a woman who is already struggling with mental health to have the man who supposedly loves her to hurt her emotionally not once but twice to such a degree and she just lays down and forgives him. I literally got so pissed off reading this I had to stop.

Amazing story!
This is the 3rd book in this fascinating series and is Twisted and Izzy's story. Izzy has had a tough time and is mentally not in a good place. Twisted saves her and makes her his I'm lady. There are many obstacles in their path to overcome. This is a well written flawless story which had me totally hooked and intrigued throughout. I highly recommend this talented authors work for all MC lover's.

Twister wrapped around Izzy
Izzy's past has been haunting her for some time. Twister has finally decided that she's his and not about to let her go. A lot of things try to come between them but they sure come out on the winner's side.
I enjoyed this story. I will point out that the author needs a proofreader for content. Once too many times your was written when it should you're, also there when it should've been they're.
