Unraveled is an action packed read that follows the romance between Jace and Delilah. It is not a conventional love story, considering these two characters are FBI agents, it is a suspenseful and thrilling novel!
Jace is a young but expert agent, and a Delilah a clever rookie with a lot of energy. From the first moment they met, they were drawn to one another. As the job brings them closer together, their relationship blossoms. The pursuit of a powerful drug lord puts their life at risk, as they play cat and mouse with the villain around the city. When an accident jeopardies everything, their lives, their love and even their career, they must fight against their enemies throughout this dangerous path they chose.
It’s a fast paced and engaging book, as I found myself rooting for these love birds. The book also has some dark psychological twists, related to drug use and its effects, this powerful drug is much more then it seems. The ending was a wild cliffhanger, I was not expecting these plot twists! I am super excited for the sequel and can't wait to read more of this series!

Unraveled is a suspenseful thriller dealing with the mental state of Delilah, who is struggling throughout the book, always having agent Jace by her side, after participating in the McGregor Case.
I was really impressed and intrigued how the author managed to get into the psychology of the characters and "unravel" all the emotions and struggles especially about a theme as such (drugs).
Usually I imagine a 60-year-old retired police agent writing those kind of stories but to read a thrilling book as that from a twenty-something year old girl, well... standing ovation my lady!
Well developed characters. I love books that change the point of view every now and then. There were times that I loved Delilah's character, but others I just hated her.
I love crimes and thrillers and this book had such an engaging plot that kept me going!!
This book is a part of a trilogy. Second book "Numb" is already out, and of course on my TBR list.
Can't wait to read more from the author!!

Definitely worth a read!
I really loved this book right from the get go you are rooting for Delilah and she feels like the real sassy front woman, and then we meet Jace who we also love he sounds hot and caring and honestly what more could you want 🤷🏻♀️ I‘d say about 1/3 of the way in the book shifts to a more action based book after we’ve got to know the characters a bit, but it does get super interesting and I had no idea when I started where it was going, I was SHOCKED but I definitely will read the sequel because I’m interested to see where it’s going the ending was 🤯 I thought this book was well written and I was really happy it was in two perspectives of Delilah and Jace with alternating chapters because this really helped the story progression a lot! 4 ⭐️

A good read
Unraveled isn't in my usual genre that I like reading, so I was a little surprised that I really enjoyed it. I read this book in one sitting, eyes glued to the pages, trying to figure out where Gonzi was going to take the story. Let me just say that the way Unraveled is written, with all of the intricate build up and twists, the use of language and thought, and the warping reality within Delilah's spiralling mental state is fascinating. Gonzi did an amazing job at writing from multiple POV's, ensuring both main characters had their own unique voice.
The themes found in this book, along with the character's struggles as they try to deal with some pretty awful stuff, were all written in a way that showed Gonzi's depth and knowledge base as an author writing about crime and the effects that drugs have on people.
I'm looking forward to reading more from this author!

I really love Delilah and Jace! (the names are great too!)
This story is written in different character POV’s and where I feel most books I read like this I am skipping through certain POV’s, this one was well done!
I was excited to jump into a novel about crime since I don’t think I have read one in such a long time. Jace and Delilah had great push and pull chemistry and there were moments I wanted to slap some sense into them. Delilah is headstrong and tough. I admired that. I am really excited to jump into reading Numb and seeing how much farther the story unfolds!!
Don’t sleep on this one! It’s worth the read!

I decided to read this book because I needed something new and I had become friends with the author. I had no idea how it was going to be going into it. I had just met her and thought "oh it's prolly going to be an ok book" BOY WAS I WRONG! I was immediately enthralled by this suspenseful thriller and it had wanting to read more and more, I had to pace myself! The amount of gasps and... a one specific crushing scene (IYKYK!!!), it was amazing! It was such a new plot and story, I was very impressed and can't wait to read the second one!

This book was hands down amazing from start to finish. It was also a completely different kind of romance book and I absolutely loved it.
Lots of twists and turns that were fully unexpected. When you thought you knew what was to come, BOOM the unexcpected. I’m looking forward to diving into book 2. I hope it continues the pace it went at.

This book was so good, I was hanging on to every word!! The action and suspense was perfectly executed! The character Delilah has such a complex part of this plot that I could not stop thinking about this book. The Romantic love story that was intertwined between all the action made it that much better. I cannot wait to read the sequel!

Amazing book by an amazing author! The characters are not only likeable, they're loveable. You want them to succeed in such a way that you can't stop reading. I can't wait to read more from this author:!
