thorough, yet not overly detailed. easy to read, brings out important clinical highlights (where to stab someone if you're coming from above, or below), and keeps up with the latest USMLE faves. great diagrams, cartoon-like, easy to decipher for the simple minded

Moore does an excellent job explaining all the anatomy parts, especially the muscles. The clinical annotations are useful as well, though less so in the theoretical-study years.
