Vincent Dallas is a well-known “cool kid” around modern California’s famed San Fernando Valley. Despite the expensive payoffs he was receiving, Vince wanted out of the drug scene almost as quickly as he’d been lured in, only to find out that’s much easier said than done.

I don't read as much as I should, and I don't write as much as I'd like to. Life gets in the way sometimes.

Right now I'm focusing on school. Writing has taken a backseat to things that I feel are more important right now. I have no doubt I'll get back into writing, and finish my novel, but right now I just don't have the time.

I brought this book to the beach and didn’t put it down until it was finished. I loved the relationship between Vince and his grandfather! Amazing plot twists and exciting ending! I hope there is a sequel, I don’t want this to be the last of Vince.
