This gripping debut novel by Geneva Grace Kellam is a unique story of loss, regret, love and redemption, set in Central Park. Beautifully written, it will show you Central Park as you had never seen or imagined it. Don't miss it!

An amazing, very different kind of novel. one I never would've found on my own. A colleague at an airline mentioned it was her book club's selection. I looked it up on Amazon and I was hooked.

Kellam's use of language is worth the read all by itself. She is a master at description. Her characters, although dead, come to life on the page.

I don't want to give too much away, but if you're looking to an alternative afterlife, this is a great place to start. And if you life a really good story, it's even better.

Highly recommended.

Loved Every Moment

The characters, premise and the setting provided a world that engaged me totally. The author showed great insight into how men and women think, feel and connect. When You Die in Central Park provided an opportunity to reflect on what it feels like to love, live and consider what might come next.
An amazing read!

really enjoyed this book. i admit, i am fascinated by what the dead experience in their time after death, so this topic was very appealing to me. it’s also so obviously written by someone who adores NYC, especially Central Park as landmarks are lovingly incorporated into the story. I became very attached to the characters and was left wanting to know more of their backstories as well as the loved ones left behind. the book is an easy, comforting read.

I enjoyed reading about this very original cast of characters. For those who love New York's Central Park, you will not be disappointed with the lives of these "dearly departed" wraiths who inhabit the park, and following their romp around the Park's many famous places. I absolutely recommend the book.
