Even paradise comes with challenges.

For Olivia and her husbands, life is good. Five years on from becoming her harem, the men are happy, and love abounds. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t obstacles to overcome. With five children, long-kept secrets, hidden desires, and a sprawling Australian sheep station to care for, there’s always going to be complications.

But these are not people who shrink from what their hearts need. They’ll also fight for what they believe in and stick together with a fierce loyalty that cannot be broken.

Read THE BOYS after you’ve enjoyed the entire series THE CHALLENGE (Boxed Set on KU) and find out from Raul, Evan, Mason, Harry, and Lucas how their unconventional relationship with Olivia is faring. Please note, this reverse harem series has elements M/M love within it.

I truly enjoyed the series, as quirky as some parts were and as mad as I was with Liv's choice with Paul. I read from Book 1 to Book 6 within a day and half. I was excited to read this final Boys POV until I wasn't. It was disappointing to have Raul jealous and what was with the interaction with Jose and Liv... left many holes that weren't expected 5 yrs later. I'm not sure what to feel about Harry and Evan... the initial taboo was sexy since it was revolving around their time with Liv and didn't have full undercurrents of a separate relationship until Boys. I understand they developed closeness more over time but with the POV at 5yrs to the point where they were engaging and sneaking off separate of Liv, seems to keep me unsettled with how devoted they really are to their 'wife'. Did Harry really start out as gay and only used Liv to get Evan from Castaways? So many things murky with the label of the two being gay vs bi-sexual. Hiding from the kids also didn't make sense the needs was to be 'out' without boundaries of when they wanted PDA together. I am also disappointed that Paul had to be brought back into the storyline and no less with Anya. How did the tribe feel about him marrying her after he participated in the ceremony with Liv...and just can't see how that could be overcome from Liv's and the Twins perspective knowing their brother used their girlfriend for a round of sex because he wanted to see what was so special, I had not expected Liv to fall under his spell when she already had misgivings about him. Why would she want him to 'play' her friend... Also there is no true description of her interaction with her parents and Sarah as to disclosing the relationship and then you never hear from Evan's mom again after she drove away from the ranch...just the brief touch upon what the Twin's should have mentioned to their family...
I chose to not write this as soon as I finished Boys and I had hoped sleeping on it would allow me to not be so jaded with the outcome of the storyline... but I think I ended up disappointed. There wasn't even a venture as to who fathered the twins and any true reason why they waited 5 yrs to start trying again when there had been so much focus of each of them wanting to father a child.
I enjoyed Mason stepping into the role as a solid father figure for Darius and even Lucas. Again, I enjoyed reading the series and how they came to be and grew over the year for their adventures but struggling with the final chapter.

Catching Up With Old Friends

I enjoyed Lily Harlem's "The Challenge" series. This book was requested (often!) by fans and it looks in on the family five years later.

To me it feels a bit like a TV "reunion special", and that is perhaps not surprising since the original series always felt like it could easily be adapted for television. Not a lot happens, but it was a l;ot of fun to catch up with everyone.

If you read and enjoyed the original series, you'll almost certainly enjoy this addition, and if you haven't you should definitely start there.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

It was okayish....
I really liked all the previous books in this series but this one was different. It had a lot of sub plots which didn't lead to any big plot. It was just as the blurb said...a glimpse of the five-some family after five years.
It got a bit repetitive with the sex except the Evan and Harry scene. That was pretty hot.
Good to visit old friends though .

If you haven't read any of the book in The Challenge series, do not read this book. Go back and start at the beginning. If you have read them and loved them like I did, read away.

This book is five years after we wrapped things up in Breakaways. The family is living in Australia and doing life day to day. This was always one of my favorite series b/c of how 'real' the story was. No you don't run across these type of people in every day life but if you did, the situations could totally happen. That stays true in this book. We get to take a look into each guys life. What they are doing every day and how their relationship plays into it.

I really missed these characters but I knew that when Breakaways came about that it was time to end the series. It all made sense. I'm so glad Lily decided to give us this extra bit though. It's not just a little story though. We get several chapters from each guys POV.

As always with Lily she knows how to turn up the heat. Sometimes I forget she likes to keep it steamy. Our shy boy Lucas steps up his game in this book as well.

So overall, I loved this series from the get go and I'm so excited to have them back with us again.

I absolutely loved it!

One woman, five guys, five kids, and a sheep station in Australia, are all the ingredients in this hot as hell, sexy, brilliant spin-off from the fantastic RH series The Challenge by Lily Harlem. The Boys begins five years later and it’s told from Raul, Evan, Mason, Harry, and Lucas’s POV. Their love and loyalty as they navigate the ups and downs of family life, knows no bounds in this absolute must read!

Reading The Boys: Reverse Harem Romance (The Challenge Book 7) was like a reunion with old friends. I enjoyed reading The Challenge Series and was looking forward to reading Book 6. What happened to this one?

This book The Boys' takes a leap of 5 years into the life of Olivia and her men, stationed in Australia on a sheep station. They are living a dream life along with their five children. Love and trust is the main bonding between them.

The story moves forward with Raul, Evan, Harry, Mason and Lucas giving their perceptive of their life with Olivia and their love for her. Each one having an alone time with her. A fitting end to the hot, sexy and romantic RH spin off series. Loved it.

I really had missed these characters once I put down the Box set 'The Challenge', and their escaped over time. I am so glad that Lily decided to give this extra read to her readers. Each character was amazing in his and her own right. Olivia the strong one, holding all of them together. I was glad to see the shy Lucas coming in his own. The bond between Harry and Evan growing stronger and the children flourishing and the good news in the end. I cannot be partial and point out any one of them as my favourite character, they all are.
This series was amazing to read and would love to read some more.

Just a slice of family life

Of course, we’re talking the most unconventional family... it’s a five-year reunion with Olivia, wife to 5 of the hunkiest men ever to share a woman’s heart - and her bed. She’s the superwoman we all dream of being - mother of adopted orphans and twins of her own birthing. Boss of a prosperous outback sheep station. Talented. Skilled. And so sexy it overheats my e-reader. Talk about having it all!!! Steamy and enjoyable reading for real reverse harem fans.

Great to catch up with the entire group from The Challenge Series. 5 years after the last book we see how well everyone is doing and how much the kids have grown. It was sweet and written from each guys POV. I really liked to see how everyone has adapted to life together. Entire series was pretty good but really enjoyed this book since it definitely nailed down the fact that they all get their HEA, and showed how much they all love and support each other.

Okay so from what I can tell the story takes place long after the end of the last book. So I'm not really interested in Reading it. I think that book what was it five? Or six whatever LOL I think was a good ending. And on top of that I accidentally bought the wrong format lol. Teaches me to pay attention. All I have it now is in PDF and I'm not going to buy another one lol. But at least I have it for later if I want to read it again.

The boys

A continuation five years after the last book in the Challenge series left off. Olivia is back with her five husband's, 5 children, trying to have more. Its from the guys perspective and I honestly lived reading about them and what's been happening. I'm so happy that the author wrote this!

A good follow-up to the previous books.

I hate to see this saga come to an end. It was really great following them and seeing how they made their unique love manifest into what they had around them. I hope there's a future book that's another five years in the future so we can see what's going on with them all. Good read.

I really loved The Challenge. It had everything I wanted and loved about a RH story.

In this book we pick up the story 5 years later and see what is going on through the eyes of each man. His relationship with Olivia and the kids and the other men.

It is a wonderful sweet and sexy book.

What a great catch up

Loved this follow up to the series, especially from Olivias sexy men's point of views. They each got their turn and some sexy times and some heartfelt follow up to how they adjusted to their unique lifestyle. Truly a great ending.

Good Ending

To a gloriously sexy series. We get to see the whole family life from all of the 5 men's viewpoints 5 years on. It ties up any loose ends nice and tightly hung, clamped and screamed.

Good to catch up

This is how you do an epilogue. Realistic conflict as well as the fun times we’ve come to expect at the station. It was nice to hang with the boys again

Loved seeing the future

Most of the time you get the future in an epilogue. Loved seeing the future of this beautiful family in an actual full length story.

I love this book! This is awesome! It should be read after the other five books in the series. It's like an epilogue, but it's so much longer than the usual chapter at the end of a book. This is still about the main characters of The Challenge series, but this time the story is told from the men's perspectives. It takes place five years after the end of Breakaways. The adventures are on a smaller scale, and set mostly in Australia.

I thoroughly enjoyed how each guy got some sexy time with Olivia. Even with five children, the romance is going strong. I liked how the men's sections were like short stories, and they flowed into each other. Each one was a fun, day in the life kind of mini-challenge where I got to see how everyone works and plays together.

I think my favorite part was when Harry's parents visited the sheep station. His mother's take on the relationships was pretty funny.
