Bones and Lauren both have pasts that they would like too forget. Lauren and Bones needed each other more then either of them realized. I really enjoyed Bones and Lauren together and of course I liked seeing Breaker and Kate. Another crazy insane story that will have you hooked from page 1.

This is the 2nd book in the series. You do not need to read the stories in order, as they are standalones.

This book is about Bones and Lauren. We don't hardly know anything about Bones or his past life. We don't know how old he is. We know a lot more about Lauren, and her troubled past.

Lauren has been on her own since she as 16. She doesn't hardly have anything to her name. She keeps to herself, is quite and always alone. She has been running and looking over her shoulder for a few years now.

Bones saves Lauren one night at a night club / bar. Although he is a rough and tough biker, he knows when to help someone out. He has a good heart / soul inside of him. He has never seen Lauren in town. Her eyes are full of sadness and he knows she needs help, even though she says she doesn't.

When her drink is drugged, she knows that she should be nervous about the burly biker who stepped in to her rescue but for some reason he makes her feel safe.

Bones is a member of the Heartbreakers MC who only wanted a drink but couldn’t stand by and watch a woman being mistreated. Once he handles the perpetrator and meets Lauren he is intrigued and wants to know all her secrets.

This story takes you on a wild adventure filled with suspense, twists and hot chemistry.

Lauren is on the run from someone connected to her past. And then she meets Bones, who is a member of a motorcycle club. They both immediately feel that attraction to each other but neither wants that. But there are some things you just can’t stop. Then their pasts come back to haunt them. Excellent book!

This is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand-alone. Bones rescues Lauren when a guy tries to put something in her drink. Both Bones and Lauren have not had an easy past will they save each other? Fast-paced read with great characters/lots of depth and steamy chemistry. This MC read draws you in from beginning to end. I loved it!

A good read about a biker Bones and the woman he saves in a bar, Lauren. Bones is the second instalment in the Heartbreakers MC series, with Breaker being the first to fall for a woman. Bones is intrigued by the woman he saves from being roofied and wants to get to know who the woman she is and what she is running and hiding from. As both their pasts come back to haunt them, Bones has a decision to make, save the woman he loves and end up sacrificing his freedom or walk away.
A good read with steam and even though I did enjoy this read and I do love this author’s books, this one fell short for me. There were too many questions left unanswered and not followed up on to ignore. First, who was the biker she saw and how did he fit into the story, was he actually part of Buzz’s or someone else? Second, what happened to Kate, one moment she was being dragged away and then the boys are sitting around a table with Breaker, her man, did she get away, why wasn't Breaker mad on her behalf of being manhandled, did Breaker save her, what happened??????? Next, what about Brandon and that revelation of why he was going to do what he did, did he drop the lawsuit, did it all get sorted out???? Also, why call her mom when she disowned her and wasn’t going to help, what was that all about? Also, if Bones got into the shed so easily, why didn’t Lauren try escaping, especially if the door locked from the inside where she was???? There were a few other questions not followed up on but theses were the main ones bugging me.
I did enjoy the no nonsense between them, the little to no drama and how Bones sticks by her no matter what and he doesn’t fight his feelings. I also liked the suspense and the little twist near the end. Like I stated I do love this author’s books and her writing, but this one fell short for me...3.5 stars

Oh My Gosh!!!! I loved this book so much. Bones and Lauren have quiet the story to tell and Alexis Abbott did an amazing job of giving it to us. These two need each other so much more than either one of them realizes. They have both have some pretty dark things happen in their past. From that past Lauren knows that she is better off living a life of solitude but she sometimes just needs the company of theor and that is how she ends up in the biker bar that Bones is in. She never expects though her drink to be drugged and this brings Bones to her resuce but that doens't mean that she isn't suspicious of him but for some reason she feels like she is safe with him. As a member of the Heartbreakers MC he is not going to stand by and let a woman be mistreated or her her drink drugged. This story will have you hooked from the first page. Plus as a bonuse we get to see how Breaker and Kate. I devoured this book and you will too!!!!

I had a hard time with this book...I just didn't connect with either characters and for some reason didn't get a genuine feel from both their situation and love for each other.

I felt she over reacted at times...was very childish. I get she was on her own since 16 and had no one...but her childish personality was a little forced in my opinion.

This was a good set of bones for a story but just fell short with no meat on said bones. Bones...ha...no pun intended.

At one point during a gun fight, one character states...go, my love...I felt like I was reading Shakespeare instead of a MC story.

I'm so sick of hearing the main female say she is the cause of anything bad that happens around her in this book...I skimmed over most of her thoughts...it was so irritating...how did this book score higher than the first one...are people getting paid to do these high reviews...if so, dont sign me up as I give honest serious reviews.

I'm so friggin confused...we are in a suspenseful moment where the girl is grabbed and blacked out then it cuts to the 4 main MC members talking at their table...WTF Abbott...what about the two girls and the bad guys...man I really do not like her story telling at all.

I just felt this was overall a very cheesey story line in my opinion. Not worth a recommendation from me.

Ms. Alexis Abbott has just released her second installment to The Heartbreakers MC. I read this release in one sitting, simply because following along on Bones and Lauren Lockett's journey was addictive from beginning to end. This book has a fantastically crafted storyline with the incredible characters to match.

Lauren is in hiding, and taking a chance in public turns into a nightmare waiting to happen, however, when a mysterious stranger protects her & steps to her defense... Sparks fly. Find out first hand just how much talent Ms. Abbott can actually pack into her books; right here with this impressive release. Bones is so much more then a sexy MC romance. There is a healing process for these two wonderfully designed characters that is a pleasure to read. I can not wait for the next installment to this Brotherhood. One thing that I am certain of is that it will be riveting (just like the rest of her publications).

This is a great story about a broken young woman, Lauren and Bones, the MC biker who walks into her life at just the right time! Bones is a very big, sexy tough man who sees a woman who needs protection and he does so without seeing her face or knowing her, saving her from a man trying to put drugs in her drink. After Bones gets rid of the threat does he start a conversation with the beauty and they end up on the back of his bike going back to her place. Lauren has had one very terrible past that she is still hiding from living a lonely life out in the woods. When Bones gets her safely home things get hot and heavy very quickly and being inexperienced and not understanding she enjoys when Bones tells her what to do and when. Bones is not sure if Lauren is telling the truth about herself but feels it that something is wrong and he wants nothing but to keep her safe and take away her pain. There are those who are just evil and want to cause her more harm and the twist and unknown are truly shocking. The Heartbreaker MC is there to help keep her safe and allow Lauren to feel part of a family! They have some dirty and just right sex scenes and one intense journey. This is the second book in the Heartbreakers MC series. While it is a good read, it fell a little short of her other books. Lauren is a woman who has had to deal with too much at a young age which left her to her own devices to try and make her way in the world. Bones is not one without his own trials and tribulations. When he sees Lauren in a bar, almost succumbing to being roofied by another nefarious man, he goes into action and winds up pummeling the threat to her. Once all is said and done, Bones takes Lauren home and finds out that this lovely lady has some interesting proclivities. The more time they spend together, the closer they become. When the past comes back to haunt them, it is decision time. Will Bones fight for the woman he loves or will he walk away? It is an intriguing storyline filled with tremendous detail that slows down the reading of the actual story. I would have liked some resolution with Brandon and what punishment he had to go through for his part. Although not one of my favorites, Ms. Abbott is an author who delivers engaging characters, suspense, steam and twists and turns that make it easier to keep the pages turning.

When Bones walked into the club bar, he never expected to become a hero. It just happened. A faceless woman in need of protection was all it was. But when Bones finally got a look at this damsel in distress, what a face. What a beautiful woman he'd just rescued.
Lauren's past is littered by tragedy, perhaps that's why she lives the way she does. Lauren leads a pretty simple life, although every so often she craves more. She doesn't understand her desires but she has them and they are simmering just under the surface. She may not act on them, but she wants to. When she meets Bones, the opportunity presents itself and there will be no going back. When Bones eventually learns who Lauren really is, his need to protect her becomes even stronger. He needs to take away all her sadness and pain. As they become closer, there are people in their pasts who want to want to bring harm to them, respectively. Bones must rely on his chosen family, the Hearbreakers MC for help keeping Lauren and himself alive.

This is the 2nd book within the Heartbreaker’s MC series related to Bones and Lauren’s story.
Lauren Lockett aka Raylene Smyth childhood was a shambles and horrifying but she survived. She resulted a new life in hiding from her past but not without fears and scars as her running came to a halt. She was rescued from an incident at a bikers bar by Bones that ended with him discovering she has some interesting preferences and secrets.
Bones is the member of the Heartbreakers MC in Wyoming. He is at the bikers bar and noticed a peculiar incident by a nefarious man and take action to prevent harm to the female patron. He is initially standoffs due to a pending Diesel disputes on the club but later discovered Lauren is not affiliated with his enemy.
The story was filled with twists and turns, suspense and danger at every corner but abandoning resolution of several issues. I’ve read Ironside’s story before this one and I loved it!

Lauren comes from a rough and horrible past. She's hiding out but she decides to go out to a bar. Which luckily for her, Bones is about to save her in more ways than one.

Bones is a hero without even knowing all he's in for. Bones catches a guy trying to drug a drink, that guy definitely regrets that one. In the process of a fight he catches sight of a beautiful woman.

He decides she's going to be more fun than a fight with a loser. Takes her home. He knows something isn't right but don't know what.

Lauren and Bones are about to open Pandora's box. Monsters will be coming for them. Can they put the demons to rest so that she can stop hiding?

Another sexy, action packed story from Alexis who knows how to bring the suspense, s*x, bad guys and strong leading characters together like a fine work of art, you don't want to look away from. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

OMG loved this story of Lauren (Raylene) and Bones. From moment they met he knew something was up. She was beautiful standing there watch as he punches the guy trying to roofie her. He's a protector, a hero and so much more. Bones has instincts when something is wrong, gut tells him his next move. She hides from her past that hunts her life moving from place to place staying in the shadows to cover her existence. Not wanting to draw attention to herself until the night at the bar. That's the day everything changed for Lauren and Bones. This is an amazing book that captivates you from the beginning until the end, if your looking for a book that intrigues your mind and you can't put it down, then this is the one for you. This story is pretty good, the suspense was there. With each page turned you were wondering who was going to show up. There is some action, it's a motorcycle club so you will get some action. You got rough and raw sex, it was fun. It was fun getting to know Lauren and Bones. In my opinion they were like ying and yang. I loved how Bones was willing to do anything to save Lauren and the extent he went to. I liked how Alexis Abbott took a story from the headlines and made it her own. The subject is pretty dark. Let just say I love Alexis Abbott and her books but this story fell short for me. There were many unanswered questions. I'm not going to put the questions in the review, because in my opinion it would give things away. Alexis Abbott usually does a good job of answering all questions and wrapping things up. In my opinion this story fell short of that. I still enjoyed the story and we had an appearance from Breaker and Kate. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader's copy.

I am an avid fan of Alexis Abbott and absolutely loved “Breaker” the first book in this series. So I was thrilled to receive an ARC of “Bones”. At first I thought okay I’m comparing this one to the first one too much. That’s what’s disappointing me. No I don’t think so. I loved Bones, he’s every woman’s dream hero. He would’ve given his own life and or freedom to protect Lauren. Her, well I’m still deciding. Plus, I do not enjoy reading sex scenes when there’s strangling and there has to be a password. So that was one big turn-off for me. The story in itself is really a good fast moving one and well thought out. Although there were some unanswered questions a long the way. I loved the twist and the extra danger at the end. So for me except for the sex parts, it was an enjoyable read. So I’m giving it a 3.8 and hoping that the next story is more to my liking. So I’m volunteering to give this review. Wish it were better.

He never expected to give her a lift home or be invited in for a drink by the beautiful woman he stopped being drugged, but he knows he sees the same desire he feels in her eyes. She doesn’t want to answer him on why she was going to a biker bar but wants to thank him.
Lauren has never felt like this before, it feels like sin and heaven at the same time. Lauren knows what the dark side is like she’s touched it and this man has dark inside him, but will she unlock it or set it free. It’s what she’s wanted, he’s perfect, but then her world goes black.
Bones knows that she’s not like any woman he’s met before, she’s staying in a place like she wants to get away from everything. Wanting to find some aspirin, he finds envelops and a clipping about a kidnapped girl, wondering if it’s her and finding a name on her mail, Lauren Lockett. All he knows is she’s hiding something he can see it in her eyes and for some reason she trusts him, and he’s going to help her lose the sadness he sees.

The Heartbreakers MC is back. This is Bones and Lauren’s story. When Bones saves Lauren, he becomes her knight on shiny chrome. They both have had a not so great past. Lauren thinks there is a darkness in her that makes her unloveable and unable to have happiness. Bones is running from something that happened back home and he sees something in Lauren no one else sees. There is suspense, action, past revealed and some twists and turns. Bones and Lauren were instantly attracted to each other and they have explosively hot chemistry. These two are perfect for each other. They can help each other heal and explore the “darkness” in them. Bones will do whatever it takes to keep Lauren safe, including his freedom. This is such a great series and you get to see the other Heartbreakers again. I loved all the characters in this story and can’t wait to read Ironside’s story.

“Bones” is the second book in the Heartbreakers MC series with quite a unique story-line. Lauren has been in hiding since she testified against her father and sent him to prison. Bones meets Lauren at a club and saves her from being drugged by the mayor’s son. They have a mutual attraction and Bones is intent on protecting Lauren. This book has everything you need to keep turning pages, a hot sexy biker, a beautiful damsel in distress, crazy hot chemistry, intense passion, intrigue, suspense, kidnapping, dangerous twists and yes romance. “Bones” is an intense action-filled roller-coaster ride that will without a doubt hold your interest until the final page. A definite must read for all MC romance lovers.

Bones is book 2 in the Heartbreakers MC series and it definitely kept me glued to my kindle.
Bones and Lauren both had interesting childhoods and I think that's why they work so well together.
It's heartbreaking at times and full of suspense so you really get a bit of everything whilst reading it.
Alexis Abbott really knows how to connect with her readers and pull them in to her story and Bones did exactly that with me.
I felt like I was a part of this story from the get go.
I really enjoyed reading this book and couldn't get enough of it so I ended up spending my Sunday afternoon binge reading it.
Go one click it now and fall in love with the gruff but sweet centred Bones and his strong and beautiful Old Lady.

This story was an enjoyable read getting to know this MC club better and watching Bones and Lauren fall in love. The story starts out with Bones saving Lauren and then goes into an action packed love story that will keep the reader enthralled! Though Lauren might seem like a nice lady she has scars from her past and Bones feels the need to protect her even more. I really liked the plot line and the development of the relationship between Bones and Lauren. I enjoyed this story even more then book one and think that others will like it as well. I hope this author continues with this series and I can’t wait to read about some of the other brothers and their loves! I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

This is a wonderful read from the very beginning. I was captivated by this book and continuously found myself drawn to the characters. Nice plots and easy to follow. The characters had such chemistry that you could feel the sparks. In true Alexis Abbott form the characters and their personalities are unique with qualities and traits that balance out perfectly. The chemistry between the main characters is sizzling. I loved they way they came together so smoothly. The scenes are so graphic and vivid it's easy to picture each scenario as it plays off one another beautifully. Alexis Abbott did an excellent job bringing these stories to life flawlessly.

Wild And Hot

When I pick up a book by Alexis Abbott I know that I’m in for a wild and hot ride. In the case of Bones it is truly wild, with twist and turns you don’t see coming and it is very very hot so hold on for the ride of your life.
Bones and Lauren are as different as day and night but their attraction is instant and develops in so much more. They both have darkness in their pasts and being together leads them into the light.
There are a lot of twists both in both the beginning and that I didn’t see coming and added that extra suspense to the story. Loved how Bones went in in for Lauren despite the threat to himself. Plenty of suspense and plenty of steam.

Normally in these MC books it is the guy who needs to be "saved" by the loving woman who brings him back to his humanity. In Bones it is the biker who helps the woman, Lauren, realize her worth and his love.

This is the second book of Alexis Abbott's Heartbreaker MC series. If you haven't read the first no problem this one is a stand alone, but you will want to get your hands on Kate and Breaker's story when you get a chance.

If you love tattooed heroes (who just think they are everyday guys), a strong woman who needs a little help realizing it, a lot of steamy moments, a lot of love, camaraderie with other bikers, a fight or two and a happily ever after. Then Bones is what you need in your hands right now.

Loved this story.

My mind went so many places over the name Bones. Gees he was one sexy biker. I bet the one thing he thought is that he would not fall head over heels in love. That had to almost seem out of reach. But that one night changed everything for him.

My heart broke for Lauren. She was truly broken and alone. The guilt, shame, and blame she beat herself up over. It was like she could not see she was not to blame.
