Three billionaire brothers: Cesare, Enzo, and Dante Sabatini have everything except the one thing money can’t buy. Three big beautiful women Alicia, Bethany, and Chloe will teach them the ABCs of love. Follow these couples as they negotiate the riskiest deal of all, falling in love.
Dante Sabatini. Billionaire, manwhore extraordinaire—and my new next-door neighbor. Two years ago, my sister married his brother. Over the years I’ve heard all about him and seen his pictures everywhere, yet between me away in school and Dante’s hectic… ahem, “social life,” we keep missing each other. Until the day I move in across the hall from him. Nothing could have prepared me for Dante Sabatini in person. He’s more gorgeous than a photo could do justice—and more of an a$$hole than I thought was humanly possible.
Oh yeah, and he wants me. Me? Plus size, virgin, twenty-four to his thirty-five, nobody to the models and actresses he’s been with. Seriously? Only the jerk refuses to take me up on my begging to learn everything I can under his expert tutelage. We’re family now, and there’s too much at stake when we crash and burn he insists.
This guy is giving me whiplash and driving me crazy. We’re only five hundred feet from each other, but we’re separated by so much more. All I want is some fun, no promises or hand-holding necessary. Once I get what I want, will we be able to survive everything that comes our way… or will we crash and burn, hurting the people we love the most as we do?
**While this is the 2nd book in the Dirty Billionaire series they are standalone and you need not have read His Dirty Demands to enjoy His Dirty Promises**
Due to commitment issues I have lived in many different cities and my favorite is Chicago but I have managed to settle into Austin and perhaps my commitment issues are behind me. I have enjoyed reading from a very young age and it wasn't long before the children books bored me and I read the books my mother enjoyed Stephen King and Dean Koontz and I didn't sleep without the light on until I was about ten. I came across my first Harlequin by accident and it was love at first read, no one died and happy endings? It was a whole new world and I loved it. I wrote my first story at eight and everyone died, of course. Since then I would like to think I've gotten better and now I'm writing the happily ever afters I first fell in love with, with some hot sex thrown in along the way. As a plus size woman myself, I have started writing the stories I always wanted to see myself in but never did. And now I'm ecstatic to give BBWs the happily ever afters with hot Alphas they so rarely get.
I enjoyed the first book in the series for the most part.
The second book is basically like reading the same book!
First of all...the amount of editing these books call for!! Oh my god, I can't take it. Lack of punctuation. Serious issues with continuity. Confusion about who's speaking when. Unnecessary exposition. Exposition missing when it's needed.
Second of all...the characters are basically interchangeable.
________________ SOME SPOILERS AHEAD.... ________________
They all have the same issues. The heroine has body image issues but she's only a size 16. To an actual BBW, that's a slap in the face. The heroine acts like a brat, yelling "I hate you" when she's sexually frustrated. The heroine is a virgin. The hero is an "alpha" billionaire who instantly falls in love with the heroine based on her body and chemistry alone but doesn't ever tell her he loves her until the end of the book. The hero immediately moves the heroine in to his house. The hero is extremely understanding and kind even when she's being a complete brat. The hero introduces the heroine to anal sex even though he isn't on the receiving end himself. Some of the sex scenes had me recoiling and they felt a bit demeaning.
Also...there's no real obstacle. I mean...one kind of develops but not a page-turning kind.
I was really interested in reading the third in the series because I was curious about Enzo's story, but I realized it would be just more of the same and I couldn't take it anymore.
I was entertained, but not enough to continue with this author.
Enjoyed the 1st book of this series & this one, mostly cause it dealt with plus size women. You do not see too many of those romance books. Course they both were pretty much the same story just 1 part different to make them 2 different stories. I felt like something was missing, not sure how to explain it. Also, some of the sex scenes were not very exciting & sounded the same. Not sure if I’ll buy the next book of the series but just want to say I enjoyed these two for the most part. Thank you!
The man on this book cover totally does it for me! He's a manly man. I'm pretty sure if you looked up the word "man" in the dictionary, you'd find his picture. I'll definitely be reading this one.
Dante is one of the Sabatini brothers and a well known ladie's man. Bethany is his brother's wife's sister and living across the hall from him. He finds her sexy and alluring but doesn't want to get involved because of family ties. Bethany finds Dante handsome and sexually alluring but she only wants a short time to learn about sex. Will the two be able to stop the chemistry or will giving in lead to family troubles? A good read and addition to the series.
3.5 ⭐️ for Dante. I was really enjoying this book but there are a few concerns I had. The continuity in this book is not great, it often jumps around and it is difficult to figure out who is speaking. There are jumps in time without any warning or explanation and it detracted from the story. Dante was a wonderful character and oh my gosh do I love him *sigh* he tries so hard not to fall in love with her and touch her as she is his new sister in law and he does not want to hurt his family if it goes badly. He is sweet, patient, loyal, alpha, tattooed, and gorgeous. However, I was not a fan of Bethany, I found her to be a whiny brat who did not treat Dante well. Who yells at the man you like that you "hate him" because he is taking things slow and you are sexually frustrated, GROW UP! She had frequent temper tantrums and was just not likeable. I wish I had caught a TW about the second trimester miscarriage that this couple goes through, could have done without reading that. It also made me like Bethany less. I get that it is a truly awful and painful situatiom but she was emotionally abusive to Dante. Saying she hated him, screaming at him to go away, calling off their wedding, trying to leave their condo, taking her engagement ring off and doing everything she can to push him away. She never ONCE asked him how he was feeling. Dante had been happier than her when they found out she was pregnant, he wanted to set up the nursery, buy toys and clothes and everything but she never once comforted him through his loss. He was forced to stay strong *roll eyes* because she was a broken down mess. I felt awful for him, he lost his baby too and he was a freaking saint in how he loved and supported her. These stars are for Dante, not her character.

Fiona Murphy did it again- a book I could not put down! I’ve been waiting excitedly for this story to come out and it was so worth the wait! This is the second in a 3 book series! In this one we meet Dante and Bethany! He’s a devastatingly handsome billionaire who is gruff on the outside but a sweetheart inside! She’s a beautiful curvy girl who is vulnerable, tough and 100% attracted to him! I love the anticipation and sexual tension between the two as Dante tries to “do the right thing!” But when they finally get together there are fireworks!! I devoured the pages and relished each word! You’ll love the three Sabatini brothers when they start talking in Italian to each other- you’ll wish you knew what they were saying!! This book is also a great preview of Enzo’s story which will be released in July! Ms. Murphy is quite talented in writing HOT scenes that will leave you fanning yourself!! She brings the heat without being crude or over the top! If you are not currently familiar with Ms. Murphy’s work, do yourself a favor and buy her whole library! Bottom line- this is a must read heartfelt love story!!
This is the second book in the series about the Sabatini brothers. Dante’ Sabatini meets Bethany Jeffries after months of just missing each other at family events. When they finally see each other, it’s insta-heat! Bethany is ready almost immediately to act on the lust she feels, but Dante’ is reluctant because of the family ties they share as well as the age difference.
Soon they both find themselves in unfamiliar territory as they get to know each other better and find something they weren’t looking for, but are powerless to walk away.
This book picks up where ‘His Dirty Demands’ ends and features Alicia and Ceasar as they continue to build their family. You don’t need to read it before reading this one as they are related, but stand alone.
I enjoyed the first one so bought this one it was good, but not as good as the first, in my opinion. A word of caution, although this is a romance, the heat level is high.
I have to tell you that Fiona Murphy is one of my absolute favorite authors. I love all of her books. This one is no exception. I have been anxiously waiting for this book to come out. The two lead characters fight it at first because of her sister and his brother being married. They don’t want to start something that might end in heartbreak and cause problems within the family. But love and desire are two very hard things to fight. This book has a lot of moments that will steal your heart and make you cry. It hits on some subjects that are heartbreaking. Will they make it through difficult times, or will it be too hard to overcome? Read to find out. I can’t wait for the next one. Happy reading
Family, love and passion The stories of Fiona Murphy always have the same effect on me, her stories make me feel good. The story of Bethany and Dante takes place in the midst of a loving and protective family that wants the best for all the members. The attraction between them is immediate, but the fear of provoking fights in the family keeps them separated ... but not for long. Family dynamics and interactions at times are hilarious. The attraction and desire is transformed into a passionate love that leaves you breathless. The ideal reading to forget everything else. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
His Dirty Promises by Fiona Murphy is book Two in the Dirty Billionaires Series. Once I read the first book I knew I was hooked on a new author. Ms. Murphy writes the anti-hero who is dark, brooding, alpha and is powerful. This heroine although strong has a soft side that brings down those tough heroes. One I start reading a book by Ms. Murphy I cannot put it down until I am done. I hope to read more from her soon. Loved it.
It's funny how Dante and Bethany didn't have any contact with each other for two whole years and then the instant attraction at their very first time meeting. They went through some things but their love never wavered and they got their HEA. I can't wait to read Enzo's story especially after this bum marriage to just have kids.
This book was full of surprises starting with Dante falling for Bethany and her in return. There courtship went very fast compared to Ceseare and Alicia relationship. How Dante got jealous seeing Dom's number in Bethany's phone. Sometimes you know when the right person has come along. Fiona Murphy did it again with His Dirty Promises and I can't wait for Echo story.
This is a story of love, loss and love recovery. Having loss three unborn children it can be devastating, you feel defeated and guilty, until you go through your grief journey of pain and come out into light and love. This book did beautiful job of the pain, loss and the love that helps you recover
Just wow! Another spectacular read by Fiona Murphy! This series is amazing with the perfect blend of chemistry, conflict and super sexy characters who deserve there HEA’s. Can’t wait for Enzo and Chloe’s story.
As always fiona writes heartwarming stories featuring demanding alpha males.. the women make the men work for their love. This story touched home with respect it's due. Fiona knows how to touch you and make you cry.
Stunning unexpected desire between two characters. This story is exciting with a protecting handsome male, and the full-size curvy beautiful female . And the book has sexy sexual energy. Fantastic reading 📚
I loved this book it was so good it had ups and downs good and bad I love this I can’t wait to read the next book you did do good writing this book keep doing what you doing because your a good writer love Destanie ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤️ the build up and 🔥 chemistry between Bethany and Dante
This is a series that features a new couple with each story. I do NOT consider this to be a STAND-ALONE. For maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers, I HIGHLY recommend these be read in series order, as there are multiple reoccurring characters (the H are brothers and the h are sisters) and consecutive timelines. There are also details (and scenes) that cannot be adequately recapped, or conveyed, adequately within another story.
** The following may contain spoilers if you have not read this or the previous story in the series. **
⛔️ The series contains references to, or scenes detailing, subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some, including: mental and physical trauma associated with miscarriage / risk with pregnancy; adult language; mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, etc.; steamy adult intimate scenes with dominance, submission, spanking for pleasure, “bottom” play, etc.
I enjoyed this story, more than the first in the series, because both of these characters were introduced in that story, and the way they danced around each other and built their relationship, just brought them to life for me. I especially loved the chemistry when the two of them met for the first time, some two years after their respective brother and sister got together. With circumstances conspiring to keep them apart; Bethany focused on attaining her degree and studying to be a Physician’s Assistant (PA), and Dante focused on his then girlfriend and subsequent recovery after she broke his heart. I also loved how she may be ‘untouched’ but she is not innocent, or timid, about any of their ‘bedroom’ play.
I mention the following for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read. There are some grammatical issues with commas, there are also a variety of other issues with a couple of typos, some transposed words, missing words, extra inserted words, and incorrect word choices. There was one passage were I wanted additional information. I uploaded my notes to goodreads for anyone interested.
This is the second book of the Sabatini brothers. It is the love story of Bethany Jefferies and Dante Sabatini. Bethany is the younger sister of Alicia Jefferies and is as curvy as Alicia. I Bethany is a 24 year old virgin. Dante is the youngest of the Sabatini brothers but every bit as Alpha as Cesare. He presents a much kinder face. Still he's as domineering as Cesare. He's also a manwhore and will never get married.
So he thought until he met Bethany. There was that same lightning attraction between them. At first Dante refused to acknowledge the attraction and ran from it. Bethany thought he was a gorgeous jerk! Even though Cesare and Alicia had been married for over two years, Bethany and Dante had never met. Bethany had been away in college.
When she returned home, she moved into Cesare's and Alicia's old penthouse which was directly across from Dante's.
Dante, in spite of the attraction, he wanted no part of Bethany because they were practically brother and sister. Bethany decided she wanted Dante to be the one to teach her about sex and at our to seduce him. He was so torn. One minute he wanted, then the next he pushed her away.
It was good thing they had Alicia and Cesare who knew exactly what they were going through. You get to see the family members you met in the first book and learn a little more about them.
Yes, the same erotic descriptive sex but the characters and plot are so interesting that I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read the third book.
I liked this story a lot more than the first one but I will say I don't think I care to read the next book in the series. I loved Dante's and Bethany's relationship but at the same time it kind of felt like an almost exact copy of Cesare and Alicia's from the first book. For example (TW - miscarriage and talk of D n C) Bethany gets pregnant and is scared of having complications to which Dante kind of brushes off her fears until Cesare tells him how common it is and how Alicia had one and everything she went through. A few chapters later, Bethany goes through the same exact thing. Some of the dialogue when Dante finds out about Bethany's virginity is pretty much the same as Cesare's from the first book as well when he found out about Alicia's. I also again much like with the first book hated how fatphobic some of the dialogue was. Bethany is plus size like her sister Alicia, and just like her self deprecates through a majority of the book. It's disheartening to read about a plus size heroine who speaks about herself like that. Overlooking all of that though, I did think it was a good book.
Hot steamy romance between Bethany and Dante. Dante does not want commitment, especially with his sister-in-law’s sister. Bethany doesn’t like his bad reputation. But they live across the hall from each other and the attraction is magnetic. But Dante refuses to admit his attraction. Bethany, a virgin, wants him to be her first. This is a passionate, emotional story filled with love and tears. Can they overcome their sorrows to make their relationship last? A great read that was hard to put down. Now on to Enzo’s story!
This is book 2 in the Dirty Billionaires Series and centers around Dante and Bethany. Fiona Murphy has written another amazing book that I just couldn't put down. She writes believable characters that you can't get enough of, and you really want them to find their happily ever after. I don't give spoilers but I can say you won't be disappointed with this book. I'm looking forward to finishing up the series and moving on to the Sabatini books. Fiona Murphy has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Definitely give this series a try!
I got this book for free. I got about 33% into it and just couldn’t finish. Bethany the main female was just too ridiculous for me. I can get being really into someone right away but the idea of needing someone in a relationship who you have known for about 2 seconds is at best juvenile. I don’t like books like that. I was hoping to finish because it’s a short read but I had no desire. I gave it a 2 because Dante’s character was cute and charming trying to be the bigger man with an intense personality.
Dante and Bethany's story is unremarkable. She is an immature young woman. He's a manwhore billionaire. But they have chemistry. Blah, blah, blah. This is the second book in a series, and I gave it a chance (didn't care much for the first book). Sadly, the author's writing was worse this time around, and the lack of editing was horrendous. The story was very shaky, and there wasn't much to like about the characters. Even if the 3rd book were free, I'd pass. Just not worth the time it takes to read.
I loved the story and the characters. Good steam level. Read all 3 of the books in this series back to back in just a couple of days and fell in love with Cesare, Alicia, Dante, Bethany, Enzo and Chloe although the basic story line for all 3 was pretty much the same. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because they could have really benefited from a thorough proofread - just too many typos, missed or repeated words and even on occasion character names being wrong which I found distracting.
