All three of my children of whom I homeschooled, really enjoyed this program. It was a lot of fun learning about the roots of words the Greek and Latin origins, we did do the flashcards which was a fun way to test ourselves. All of my children were instructed in the phonetic way to learn reading. Once my children had this bases as part of their language instruction they were able to not only pronounce any new word but they could get a gist of what it meant because of the roots. All of my children were on college reading level by Junior high. And I attribute this program as an integral part of that success.
