A lyrical collection of poems, rich in language and imagery, that follows the story arc of a woman who takes in lost, abandoned, wandering dogs and gives them a loving home until discovered by some entity that takes them all away. This is a story of love and loss that shows the incredible bonds that can exist between humans and canines.
