In this book, Jerry D. Thomas returns to the powerful story of Jesus. Many of the concepts and ideas come from the Desire of Ages by Ellen G. White and his book Messiah: A Contemporary Adaptation of the Classic Work on Jesus' Life, the Desire of Ages. In Conversations with Jesus, Thomas brings real conversations with real people to the forefront as Jesus' converses with them. With chapters such as A Child's Kingdom, Bribery-Based Religion, A One-Sided Conversation and The Identifying Mark, the author helps the readers see Jesus as a real person with real thoughts, responses and actions. Jesus is full of love, grace, compassion and wisdom.

I found this small book both insightful and inspirational. At the end of each chapter are "Conversation Starters" questions for study group discussions. I am not in a study group. I read through and answered some of these in-depth questions. I plan to share Conversations with Jesus with a friend, who has requested it.
