Rate this book
Finding Home is an award-winning LGBT romance comic that explores nature, magic, mental health recovery and relationships.
Torn between the fae and human worlds, Chepi got used to being alone - that is, until he met Janek. Janek is unguarded, straightforward, and longs to return home to his friends and family - but there may not be a place for Chepi in Janek’s old life.
As they grow closer on their long journey together, Chepi struggles with anxiety, past trauma, and now his complicated new feelings for Janek. Janek doesn’t understand his new friend’s hesitance and is unsure if the spark he feels between them is even real. With time running out before their journey ends and dangers lurking on the path before them, can they make it home at all?

Truly one of the best graphic novel series/webcomics I've ever read. The writing is so amazing, I love the two protagonists so dearly, and the art is stunning. Dying for volume 3!

The webcomic updates are quite far behind the books, but if you're not able to get the books, you can read it online here: https://tapas.io/series/FindingHome

This second volume was so nice! I liked how Chepi and Janek's relationship deepen and I'm looking forward to reading more about it in the future. Also, I really appreciated the focus that the author put on Chepi's mental health, it is depicted very well. The drawings keep being marvelous, the colours especially. Can't wait for volume 3!

Same as with the first volume, I finished this in one go. Loved the second volume as much as the first and I wish volume 3 was already out! Absolutely can't wait for that one and already feeling very impatient.
Would very much recommend this story, it's stunning and I just love the characters. Janek reminds me of a cute little hobbit and if that isn't my thing, I don't know what it.

an absolute gut punch! i don't know if it's because the characters have been bottling it up for so long or what, but everything burst through with the panel we've all been waiting for, and then the very next one that broke my heart. they inch closer and closer together, and i need to remind myself that they ARE making progress, because with all of these challenges they are at least still together on this journey. but it's that slow-burn torture that keeps you turning the pages, wanting just a little bit more, one more clue, that could provide a hint of relief.

as solid and satisfying as volume one is, volume two keeps on building, as we understand the role that magic plays in chepi's life, and what it actually means when he uses it. (it means my heart swells to bursting and i cry.) i'm so excited for volume three!

Fantastic graphic novel with heart, humor, low-simmer-romance, and very neat magical aspects!

Conner has built an incredible world from the ground up, blending fantasy with Asian and Indian cultures to create a vibrant and deep world that you will want to get lost in. Their characters are real and wonderful and shy and cute and you want to hold them tight and protect them from the monsters in heir mind.

An ongoing webcomic you NEED to go check it out for yourself right now!

If you like fantastical locations, deep-rooted character development, and a slow and steady journey: read this book!

Listen, this comic is such a journey.
Its a roller coaster of feelings. With this volume you learn more about both Chepi and Janek's background while their relationship keeps developing and its slow burn and beautiful and its gonna make you giggle at some things and clutch your poor heart at others.

The continuation of the story from volume 1 really did help to build on the foundations that are set up in volume one. And again the artwork is amazing the storyline and is really thought out and carries weight. I'm glad that we got to see more of the relationship building from the first volume, as well as more character development and understanding.

even chunkier than book 1, and so full of good stuff! I love the world building that's woven in as the story gets going, it feels deep and complex and like we'll only see what we need to as we go, which is perfect for making you want to dig in further and read more stories set in this world.
