Ljubka zbirka o želvaku Frančku in njegovih prijateljih bo otroke popeljala v čudoviti svet branja.
Otroci jih bodo zato radi brali in jih vedno znova jemali v roke.
Zbirka Beremo s Frančkom je namenjena otrokom, ki se preizkušajo v prvih bralnih korakih. Besedne zveze v stavkih so preproste in za mladega bralca razumljive.
Franklin sees a magician perform and wants to put on his own magic act, but he learns a lesson about rushing and being overly ambitious.
My daughter was going through a Franklin phase and watching the show, so she enjoyed this. I was never impressed with the show and found this book dull.
FOR REFERENCE:
Based on the TV episode Franklin the Fabulous (Season 3, Episode 8), written by Paula Butorac. Based on the Franklin books by Paulette Bourgeois and Brenda Clark.
In this book, Franklin the turtle wants to be a magician. He wants to put on a show and brings his friends in to put one on for them. But instead of taking the time to learn smaller tricks he wants to 'disappear' which is very difficult to do. His trick backfires on him and his friends are disappointed in him. He feels sad, until his dad helps to teach him new tricks and he finds his friends once again and puts on the magic show he originally wanted to. this book didn't have Franklin be whinny or bossy like sometimes he can be in some of the other books; which I though was really good.
This wasn't our favorite "Franklin" story but it was still good enough. It's a "Level 2 Reader" meaning longer story, increased vocabulary, some repetition and visual clues for kids who have some reading skills but still need a little help.
In this book, Franklin learns easy tricks, but at first, he tries to do hard tricks and to watch his magic show you need to get a cookie to eat. I liked this book because Franklin learns tricks. -by Alexander
This book was read for Wesley’s summer reading club. Wesley is my (soon to be five year old) son. This review is what we used for his reading club. ***
Wesley loves Franklin stories. He enjoyed having his dad read this story to him.
