I have been a writer from the time I was old enough to recognise that reading was a doorway into my imagination. Poetry was my first foray into the art of the written word. Books were my best friends, my escape, my haven. I am essentially a recluse but this part of my personality is impossible to practise given I have two teenage daughters, who are actually my friends, my tea-makers, my confidantes...

My heart is currently broken in two. One half resides in South Africa where my old roots still remain, and my heart still longs for the endless beaches and the smell of moist soil after a summer downpour. My love for Ma Afrika will never fade. The other half of me has been transplanted to the Land of the Long White Cloud. The land of the Taniwha, beautiful Maraes, and volcanoes. The land of green, pure beauty that truly inspires. And because I am so torn between these two lands - I shall forever remain crosseyed.

Another Fun Read

I love the DarkWorld Universe Series. The books are fun, engaging and easy to read. Although the different books in the series are standalones, it does help to read them in order and across series. This one starts with a literal bang as things in Tutkats take a dangerous turn for the Odel klan, and boy does that plot get deep and twisted really fast. The group of shifter friends also have to keep forging ahead toward their mission to rescue the sexy Djinn, Saleem, but nothing is ever easy for these heroes. The story reveals more secrets, possible betrayals, and even more questions. I am so ready for the next books in the DarkWorld Universe. I pre-ordered what is coming up available in both series! Note that there are crossovers in the storylines between the SkinWalker and SoulTracker series. In this book it takes up quite a bit of the story, yet gives Kai her own storyline that weaves right into the bigger story of saving Saleem. Each character is sacrificing in some major ways and T.G. Ayer is able to keep all these storylines moving forward without becoming convoluted.

A very enjoyable read!

Yes! I liked this instalment so much :D
We got sooooo much new info in this book, I was starting to wonder when it all had to have happened. Of course, we still had the storyline from the SoulTracker series overlapping, but it was far far less than I was used to. So yes, I'm a very happy reader!

Also... I didn't know Kai was in such a bind :( Those shadowmen really did a number on her. Throw in the new developments and yeah, this is starting to be not only problematic but really dangerous (health-wise).

Pacing and flow were good. It held my attention effortlessly.
The book itself was well written with no (noticeable) errors. There is also no sex described (if that is important to you).

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and as I've said earlier, I really liked this instalment :) It was fun to read about something new, something major going on and here is to hoping they will be able to kick some ass!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "OATH BOUND" T.G. AYER as usual has written a phenominal story you can't put down I love this series "DARKWORLD UNIVERSE" its definitely a series you want to read in order.
Kai and Mel need to rescue Saleem, not worrying about health problems the journey they take you on is full of suspense, intrigue, action, secrets, betrayals, twists that leave you a little confused SkinWalkers & SoulTrackers work together in this one.
I've been waiting for Saleem & Kai's story the very sexy as sin Djjin to unfold so much happens you are totally engaged with the characters and the storyline you can't put this book down.
Some secrets are revealed in this book it's defintely a page turner each book gets better and better always look forward to T.G. Ayers books are so creative and keep you on edge until the next book comes out I Soooo can't wait for it come.

Awesome

Another awesome book by T G Ayer. Number eight in a series that continues to delight. Kai is determined to help Mel rescue Saleem and refused to allow for her own health. Why would it matter if she had an "episode" while on a mission? Or stroke out, leaving her parents, her friends, and Logan with no understanding as to why. Full of suspense, action, and great characters, with a well written plot, make this a must read! I love this series, but can’t wait for the next book. Please don’t make us wait to long.

This series is a very good series. I do think you need to read the previous books to know what is going on. I have read them, but I did find this one to be more convoluted than the previous books. Saleem's rescue has had 3 books dedicated to it. I was a bit disappointed in his rescue. There was a paragraph saying he was rescued, but not how or what happened. I think there is too much happening to keep up with all the threads, if you are not reading from book 1. Anyway, if you like TG Ayer's writing, then you will like this book.

It was nice to get into this one. This one will have its share of drama fast. It will not be easy with them also having to still try a get a bead on the sexy djinn and rescue will have to be put into the works. Still having issues with family is also part of this one. This also has its share of suspense. I so do like that some secrets will get revealed. You will get wrapped up in this one from beginning to end. Now to wait for the next one.

An entertaining read it has auxiliary action and fills in a lot of details. I could be read independent of other stories without much misunderstanding. It doesn't come to a satisfactory end in my opinion. And why Amazon considers it Erotica is definitely a mystery as it only contains fade to black scenes.

Entertaining. Haunting. Informative. Scary. Tragic. Twisted. Unpredictable. Wonderful characters.

I received a copy of this book as a gift.  This is my honest review.

Tee continues to hold me spell bound with Oath Bound. I love all her characters and how they interact with each other. Kai's journey is written in the skinwalker series.
