Nooo …. get it together girl. You did not do this.
You did not just get married to your best friend’s brother!

This marriage needs to be annulled.

Victoria is a contemporary romance author who loves sassy heroines and alpha heroes willing to do anything for their ladies. Thank you for choosing to read her books and supporting an indie author.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ 💋💋💋 Really great read , enjoyable and steamy. Wonderful characters that feel like you want to get to know more about them . I would read more books from this author.
Marriage Mistake by Victoria Snow a five-star read that will thrill you. This is my first read by this author and it definitely won’t be the last, I struggled to rate this one as there were a couple of bits that it wasn’t as good, so I nearly gave it a four star but then overall it pulled it all together so I gave it a five. This had some great funny and sweet moments, but it also had an undercurrent of heat. Amber was a little agghh at times, she works so hard but overall someone you would like. Its an easy situation, we could all get drunk and do something stupid, but I enjoyed how Amber dealt with the stupid.
Marriage Mistake by Victoria Snow I can't say enough about this book, I just love it. It starts out at her friend's wedding where Amber watches the wedding party come down the aisle. Mickey is a groomsman and has filled out, now muscle man. she saw him three years ago when he had a crush on her and she hung with his sister. Amber has worked hard and now runs a stunt company. Mickey is a rising star as an MMA fighter. When they get together the fireworks fly, till the morning when they can't remember what happened. I received an advanced reader copy and have voluntarily chosen to leave a review. This is my honest opinion.

This was a fun old friends to lovers story that had all the pins and whistles for a very entertaining romance. Told in dual POV. Old friends Mickey and Amber meet up again at a wedding reception. Mickey is thrilled as he had a secret crush on Amber for years. Amber is surprised to see how much Mickey has changed, he’s a real stud now. They have drinks, talk about old times, one thing leads to another....you get the picture. Well this is were the story really begins. We have Amber, waking up next day in Mickey’s bed with an unexplained ring on her finger....oops, and even more very interesting complications as the story unfolds. It was an easy read, the flow was fast. I liked the characters, Amber was a fun loving gal, slightly larger than some would like but she had confidence and Mickey was a gentle giant, I loved him. A great story, I highly recommend this book!
Amber and Mickey see each other at a wedding in Vegas. Mickey is Amber’s brother’s best friend and he has had a crush on her for years. The end up getting drunk and married. The opt to not get it annulled right away and spend time together both for a job and in the bedroom. Can they find a way to HEA? Entertaining read with great characters. I liked it.
I absolutely loved Amber and Mickey’s story. It was an amazing storyline that intrigued me and kept me turning pages. until I finished the book. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read
This is a amazing story. It has a confident heroine a sexy man and plenty of chemistry. This book will ruin your entire day as putting it down is impossible. If you have an early start this is not the book to start at night. As soon as I finished it I wanted to read it again.

This was a good read. Amber and Mickey have known each other for awhile. Of course they both have liked each other for a long time. Yet neither one has said anything. They end up drunk in Vegas and of course they got married. Thankfully in the end it all works out for them.
This was my first book from Victoria Snow and it won't be my last. It was a best friend's brother/friends to lovers book too, one of my favorite tropes. Mickey has had a crush on Amber since high school but he didn't do anything. Fast forward to the present and they meet again at a wedding in Vegas. Vegas is the place for suprises so when the next morning comes, they wake up to said surprise. They are married. Is the marriage a mistake? Will he fight for what he wants or will he just let her go? You won't be disappointed after you read this book. I can't wait to read more from this author.

I would have to give this book a 1 out of 5-star rating. The first thing that bugged me about this book was that the female main character, Amber was too closed off on the idea of love and was a very serious person, while the male main character, Mickey was too sentimental and lovestruck. The second thing that bugged me was the lovemaking scenes, the just didn't make me swoon and get hot as others have. The story, in general, did not make me feel giddy with joy. The characters didn't catch my eye and they did not get me hooked into the book as other characters do. I don't recommend this book.
Amber Shelstien runs her own stunt performer company. Trying to make something of her company has left little time for a social life.
Mickey Dirussi is an MMA fighter that is just coming into his own. He has worked hard and is finally being recognized for it in the ring and the press.
Amber was supposed to have been in her best friend’s wedding along with a few of their friends, but her schedule wouldn’t allow it. Well, maybe she could have made the time but with her new company just starting to make a name for itself, she didn’t dare. Amber has always been a big girl but in high school she was chubby. Now she is fit and strong, but when an old rival tries to make her feel insecure about her size, she decides to turn the tables on her. Amber bets that she can get any guy at the wedding to dance with her. Mickey has had a huge crush on Amber since they were in middle school but sadly, she was never interested in him more than a friend. Instead he watched over her and protected her in the only way he knew how, by being there for her. So, paint him surprised when she asks him to dance at the wedding. They dance and talk for hours but after a few drinks’ things lead to another and they end up in his hotel room. So, imagine the shock when Mickey wakes up the next morning alone and with a gold band on his left hand. He has no memory of how it got there and the only one he can ask could possibly hate him.
This was my first book by Victoria Snow and really enjoyed it. She can write these characters that pull you into the story and grab your heart. Amber had been through some tough times by losing not one but both her parents. Being shuffled between the two and then ending with her aunt who tried so hard to take care of her. Amber felt that it was up to her take on that responsibility and it stayed with her into adulthood. Mickey hadn’t always been strong, but his heart had always been. He had filled out after school by becoming an MMA fighter. He constantly took care of the people he cared about even if it meant giving up what he needed. Amber feels that Mickey makes everything stop spinning and he can calm the noise in her head so she can focus. Mickey thinks that Amber centers him. He can just focus on her and enjoy while everything is just fading into the background.
Wow what a great book I love it when the story line is so strong that you want it to be you that this man has loved forever, that’s great writing right there, Victoria Snow you are an amazing writer and I cannot wait to read more from you. Mickey has always loved Amber but she was not into anyone at all but he would wait for her because she was worth it. He new she a a hard life and that’s why she looked after herself after her mother died and her father never cared about her but her aunt Trisha was her rock and with her best friend Michelle and her brother Mickey life was good. Moving forward Amber has her own company as a stunt woman for Hollywood and works very hard to keep it going so much so that her love life is nonexistent until her friends wedding where she meets Mickey again and after some harsh words about her weight from Shelly the school bully she tells her that she can have any man in the room and makes a bee line towards Mickey knowing full well that he liked her and would make Shelly eat her words, and what a night it was they danced got drunk and oh yeh got married. They both woke up in morning in different rooms because Amber had panicked and left his room and now sometime later wondering how they got married to each other with the rings clearly on each other’s fingers. Needing to get this all sorted out they meet at a cafe and agree to get a annulment as soon as possible but remain friends. How does this all work out between them and can they really let each other go with all these feelings they now feel for one another. Read this great book because sometimes mistakes can work out if you want to try.

Mickey has always loved Amber since they were teens. He had given up any hope of ever being with her until one fateful night years later. They both attend a wedding in Los Vegas and after dancing and a few , we’ll not so few, drinks they wind up in his hotel room. Mickey wakes up the next day to find himself alone and a wedding band on his finger. He finds her number and they agree to meet, when they do, Amber has her own ring on. The problem is they don’t remember what happened, but they know they are married because he has a copy of the license. They each have their own careers, hers is a stunt double company that she runs and he is a MMA fighter. They decide Togo for an annulment. But fate has other ideas. Can these two warriors win the fight to be together? Well you need to read this story to find out.
This is an interesting take on a romantic story starting with the end, marriage, first. The characters are well defended and interesting. I really like the fact that the female main character is not model perfect but rather a fit woman with curves. They are both independent and successful on their own, which allows them equality but causes for extra drama too. The author empowered both characters. The setting is unusual for a romance which is refreshing. The storyline flows well. You can’t help but root for them as they go through the emotional rollercoaster set out by the various internal and external barriers they deal with. This is a passionate romance with hot and steamy love scenes. If fact, I would say this book has everything one would want in a sexy romantic contemporary romance and if you enjoy this genre then you will not be disappointed. Give it a read.

I always wonder how female writers adapt to the male point of view and make them believable in books with dual POVs. And sure, in romance one should not expect to much realism. However, in this book the male POV was so unbelievable, exaggerated and overstretched to the point that I wanted to gag and puke.
There is almost no plot to this expect for repetitive bone jumping scenes with almost no variations. They aren't even steamy (for me) and are ruined by the thoughts of the participants. Really, if I wasn't such a closet romance reader, I would go around and ask all my male friends and acquaintances, if they ever had thoughts like that during sex.
Seriously, nobody has.
If you want to show feelings there are more option than running miles long tender thoughts during sex. In fact, let your characters have some development, interaction with others, built a story and show how they grow to love each other and let the plot unfold.
But again, what plot? This was so disappointing and the blurb gave everything away, since there isn't much to begin with. It could be sum up in a few sentences. if you wanna know, read the spoiler beneath.
Also, the contraception polt device was a major turn off, because it wasn't coherent. In the beginning it was described in a certain way and later on suddenly changed to a whole different reasoning.
Man meets women again, who he loves since middle school.
Man and woman have a drunken, consensual ONS including a Vegas marriage, they hardly remember.
Curvy, yet fit, woman is driven to make it in a male dominated and very physically challenging profession (stunt woman+ co-ownes stunt company).
Therefore, she wants an annulment.
She isn't very welcoming to him at the comercial fighting shooting, they both coincidentally work for. But sill welcoming enoug to jump his bones every possible moment. She doesn't want something steady. They stop talking to each other.
Woman sees man for the first time being hurt during one of his MMA fights on the TV. She speeds to him to tend to his wounds. More sex. Baby. Both professionally successful. End of story.
Really that's all.
And almost no interaction with others. Once at a friend's wedding at the beginning and a girl take with his sister. All other exchange are just Extras for the main character: very short exchange with crew on the shooting, waiters, a reception and a doctor.
Amber was the thick girl compared to others from high school. She went to one of her good friends weddings that her best friend Michelle was in. She was having a good time and there is where she ran into an old friend, Mickey. She hadn’t seen him in years, what with her job and all. To prove a bully from high school wrong about no guy wanting her, she goes to Mickey during the reception. They have a good time dancing, talking and drinking. One thing let go another and hot sex happens:) Mickey has had a crush on Amber since they were kids. Well after their little rumble in the sack, woke up the next morning and there is a ring!!! Not knowing what happened they talk to each other about it. Amber is a stunt coordinator/co-owner of her stunt company. She’s all work and focused and wants to put this marriage behind them. Mickey is a MMA fighter who gets a lead in a commercial that her company has been hired for. Well things go from there and the hot sex continues lol. This story is amazing and touching. I bad my moment where I teared up a bit and laughed some too. They both have feelings for one another but it’s hard for Amber to admit those feelings. Time goes by and they get to know each other again and hang out like they did when they were younger. But at some point Mickey wants more but she is not ready for that although she knows how he feels about her. This is the cutest HEA ever!!

This super steamy read is sexy and sweet at the same time. Childhood friends Amber and Mickey reconnect over dancing and drinks then wake up to discover that they got married. They have different feelings about that - Amber is a little horrified, since she has been focusing on her career and hasn’t had time to date, let alone sustain a relationship. Mickey has had a crush on Amber for years, so he’s not so sure it’s a horrible idea to be married to her. I loved Mickey’s character - he took everything in stride and would’ve committed to Amber from the start if he had his way. Amber was a little harder to warm up to, probably because she gave the endearing Mickey such a hard time.
There’s a lot about the book that I liked, though I would not say that I loved it. A solid portion of the book is focused on their sexual relationship, described in great detail. While I enjoyed how this showed their feelings towards each other in a way, there wasn’t a ton of focus on the other parts of their relationship (though I suppose that’s part of the story). If not for Mickey’s alpha marshmallow goodness, I’m not sure I would’ve enjoyed the book nearly as much. Overall, it was a nice light and steamy read, not getting overly angsty but also not getting too deep either.

This is my first book from Victoria, and I have to say – WOW! The book was great on so many levels. First it is about a plus size woman allowing to be loved and taken care of regardless of what society thinks. Then you have your MMA fighter, as we all know they are big in size, but they also tend to gravitate to the petite, but not this one. This story is about Mickey and Amber, who although have known each other since they were young, come to start something real at a friend’s wedding. Amber is a confident woman but recognizes that there are some people who see size before beauty and potential. She is a stunt woman as well and owns her own business. Mickey has always had a crush on her and when he gets the opportunity to be with her even though they are drunk; he goes for it. Well as we know – in Vegas you must get married when you are drunk (as that is the norm) and that is exactly what they did, but don’t remember a thing about it. I won’t spoil it for you, but the question is do they stay married and continue to see where this may end up? There are some twists to this story and understanding how one has always taken care of the other, the roles reverse but can it blossom? I cannot stress enough how much I have enjoyed this book; everyone should give this author a try!

Mickey and Amber have known each other for years, were great friends, and meet up at a wedding. He has harbored a crush since high school, but had resigned himself to the fact that she didn't feel the same way. When they wake up the morning after the wedding and realize that they are married, they agree to get it annuled. Amber was very career driven and closed off. Her childhood wasn't the best, so she kept a wall around her heart and her emotions. Mickey, would protect anyone he loved, even if they didn't know he was doing it. When he gets the lead in a commercial she is working on, they start spending time together. Every time they are close, she pushes him away. He thinks he is okay with a friends with benefits type relationship, but when he starts feeling like all she is using him for is s!!, he calls her on it. She gets offended and walks away. When she sees his MMA fight, she realizes that she actually cares about him, but fears it is too late. I liked how she was strong and independent, but went after what she wanted once she knew what that was. I liked how he knew he was in love with her and didn't want to settle, so even though he was miserable, he didn't push when she walked away. A great book from a new-to-me author. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntry review.
This is a friends to lovers story about Amber and Mickey. Amber grew up best friends with Mickey’s younger sister and as the years have passed they all had lives that keep them connected. At a friends wedding Mickey can not believe how beautiful Amber is and his crush from his childhood has only become more. Amber never keep up on Mickey and did not realize how successful his MMA career is and she can not get over how hot and built he has become. Amber has been busy keeping her own stunt business running successfully. These two get a drink which turns into many more, a night filled with passion and a night to remember if only they can! Amber wakes up with a big rock on her finger and leaves and Mickey then wakes up looking for Amber and finds a ring on his finger! These two talk, make decisions to move on separately and then life unexpectedly brings them back together. Boy do the sparks between these two get hot real quick and how Amber keeps trying to keep Mickey at arms length away. I absolutely enjoyed their journey and all the ups, downs and exciting achievements they each work through. Mickey is one special man and Amber finds a way to finally open her heart and let true love in! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
“The sex is HOT but marriage…NO! nonononono. I have plans…” Amber is a plus-size stunt woman with her own business trying to get more jobs b/c there are more BBW in acting now. At her best friend’s wedding she meets up with Mickey who is now an MMA fighter and not the lanky but tall guy he used to be. Ladies, he’s HOT: over 6 feet tall, buff, his muscles have muscles and he’s had a crush on Amber since they were teens ;-) To prove a point Amber strikes up a conversation with Mickey, which leads to a dance, drinking, and OOPS a night she won’t forget…especially with that ring on her finger the next morning! What follows is a lot of angst, sex, miscommunication, sex and more…Really some of the most intense scenes I’ve ever read - thigh-clenching stuff. Love the cover too!!! I really liked this book, but for such an independent, decisive woman, Amber treats Mickey with so much ambivalence. She fluctuates from needing him to can’t get away fast enough. Got a little preachy at one point regarding childbirth statistics in the US, but still good. If you like “ridiculously delicious” stories with two characters to whom you can relate, read this book. I volunteered to review an ARC through Booksprout.
First came marriage, then dating and finally love. by sewsummore Mickey had loved Amber since they were children, she was his sister's best friend and being a couple of years older he used to watch out for them both. Years later they re-connected at a friend's wedding, first dancing, then drinking together and then spending the night together. The next morning they woke with wedding rings on their fingers and no memory of how they got there. It was a mistake they both agreed, and set in motion arrangements for a quick annulment. A chance meeting a month later and their chemistry as strong as before had them making love once more. It took an intervention by his sister for Amber to realize that there was more than just chemistry between them, keen to correct the mistakes of the past she opens her heart to Mickey. This was a quick romance, a story of love and devotion, of realizing there is more to life than career goals, of finding love in unexpected places and admitting to feelings long suppressed. I enjoyed this story, the characters and the storyline kept me reading and the ending romantic and satisfying. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed this book.
—>>> Running into her best friend’s brother again at a wedding was a sexy shocker for Amber, because he has certainly changed from that lanky boy she used to know. For Mickey, she was his teenage crush, something which now seeing her again as the woman she has become set all his gears on high into lust. A rising star in the MMA, he has focused on his career, just as much as Amber has done to make a name for herself in the stunt world with her fledgeling business. Now, after an apparently very busy night spent with Mickey and both waking up with amnesia, Amber does not quite know how to move forward, especially with the fact that they got married on top everything else that happened. Mickey, though, knows exactly what to do with Amber and that meant not letting her put him on the back burner forever while she tried to run away and reason it all out. Love just happens, and this time, he did not plan on letting her go now that she was in his life again working on the same big project which could epically launch their careers.
Sweet story, sweet & patient man and a strong woman who just needed time to see the man meant for her right under her nose.
ONE UNEXPECTED DELIGHT!!! Wow! Talk about putting your heart through the wringer. Man, what a ride with this refreshing spin. You get it all with this little guy. A whirlwind of unexpected events and surprising mishaps launch all your stormy, swirling emotions bursting into play with every color on the spectrum. One , hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, page turning bombshell that brings this bad boy roaring to life flawlessly. Struggling through all the trials and tribulations as they encounter so many hurdles to get through. You get drawn into this world so deep everything else ceases to exist. All the drama, uncertainty and suspense keep you riveted on a razors edge. When push comes to shove, all bets are off. Snow really brings this baby together beautifully with an incredible storyline and thrilling plot. The two main characters chemistry is white-hot, off the charts, explosive. The characters are authentic, believable and so realistic with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The scenes are so descriptive and detailed it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Remarkable job Snow, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
The first chapter was hilarious, the inner most thoughts of a young woman at a wedding. She sees her childhood crush and he's filled out, but so has she!. Amber is career driven and nothing will get in her way to her success and her plans. Mickey is still enamoured with Amber, but doesn't realize how much until he sees her again. "I'd seen the girl go to town many times on a spread and I didn't know how it was possible for that to be so attractive, but it was". Those are Mickey's first thoughts when he sees Amber. One night, one wedding, lots of alcohol, no memories, but a rock on Amber's finger the next morning.
There is a lot of growth for both Micky and Amber in this story and I especially loved it with Mickey. It took a bit longer for Amber to realize what she had and what it would be like without Mickey. I loved that he was an alpha male and wanted to protect what was his, but he was always in tune with Amber and made her feel special. Amber could not figure it out, and it was almost too late.
I received this advanced readers' copy in exchange for an honest review.
Amber was building up her company which did stunts for movies, commercials she didn’t have tome for much else but she made sure she had time off to Gigi her friends wedding and there she saw Mickey they grew up together he was always around taking care of her and her aunts when they needed it. Mickey has always loved Amber but never told her they hook up at the wedding and wake up married neither can remember it. Solicitors are used annulment papers drawn up but they meet up again through a commercial Mickey was doing and the stunt co ordinate was Amber they hit it off again Amber never stays she finds it hard to let love into her life after a hard time as a teenager through this they part but Amber finds it hard to watch one of his fights and after talking to Mickey sister her best friend she goes to him and asks for a second chance Mickey says yes and their relationship takes off he always is looking after her and loving her. Amber finds out she pregnant she is scared about being pregnant but also will Mikey leave her or stay Loved this book great story well written first book read by this author and won’t be the last
