Love how the story progresses

I love how this series progresses from book one to book four. Not only do the characters grow and develop but so does the surroundings. We get a castle, than a magic tower, back to the castle but in the form of the court and then a battle field ripe with war. The bonus scene was unique in the sense of a long dead tradition being resurrected.
I especially liked how in book one it was told from the point of you from just Maeve and Trystan but then in book two Caliban’s POV is added. Septimus joins the trio’s POV in book 3 and we get everyone’s point of view by the last book. It was different but fully engaging to have each book centered around one relationship but also have the insist from the previous character.
The secondary characters are also gripping and bring so much to the story and the world created because they are so much a part of the story and follow thru with each book, they are not introduced and than dropped. Miss Peach Blossom and the other brownies were so adorably vicious I don’t see the story being the same without her snark. The guardian and Fergus also helped round out the story and I find myself wanting their story as well as young Jonas.
