Gracious Death

I loved the end of this “Season”! The Death Crew was absolutely fantastic. The characters and relationships, Reapers, and The Tenners and then back to The Shade. A great place to end things.

Bloody brilliant

A fantastic finale to the 9th season. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, willing the characters on, all the while nearly crying over their losses. I can't wait to start season 10 next.

Its been a hell of a ride!!
Finally with the cosmic powers in hand, Taeral with the aid of his team saved the Three Dimensions from being annihilated by the Ritual Hermessi.

There were so many moments, so many things I wanted to change. I could start by saying that when A Birth of Fire was released, I had reviewed that the love stories were becoming predictable, I mean from the very beginning of the season we are able to denote who is going to end up with who. Thankfully, Mrs. Forrest had plenty of surprised on her closet.

There were also so many questions left to be answered for like....and things to be read....

1. Why Taeral was the only one able to lift Thieron( even though we got to know that he was a future reaper along with Hermessi blood flowing in him) but Death hid the actual reason and had said that they had a lot to discuss.

2. The origin and development of the thousand seals which could even cage a cosmic entity like Death.

3. What other entities like Death and Word are there, and will they appear next time?

4. More of Seeley moments and maybe bit of Kellara too!

5. The First Reapers and the yet to be seen other three guys dancing somewhere!

Can't really wait for season 10 and more of Shadian universe. But I really loved Taeral and would love to see him more in the future books. Apart from Kiev and Ashbik, I have a soft spot for him too!

5 stars for the Season 9 Finale! Spoiler alert!!

Wow! 9 Seasons! Who would have thought that I'd still be so stoked for these books?

If you haven't read the previous books then don't read any further but know that I highly recommend you start at the beginning. They're available on KU too!


So with Death kidnapped by one of the first ten Tae and his crew gave to fund her before the Hermessi hit 5m fae.

With so many loveable characters that I'm attached to under the influence I was totally on the edge of my seat reading this.

Such a good ending and although I'm excited to see whether Amane and Amal will make the Day walker dream a reality for all Vamps I am looking forward to Season 10 and curious about the origins if we're to believe the elders weren't the beginning.

Can't wait to see what characters Bella will have in the new books and I look forward to reading about new ones too,!

I love these books so much that I hope they continue for a long time to come.

Absolutely Loved this series.

This particular book had so many emotions. Thrilling and exciting and at the same time, I cried so hard and my heart broke for all of them. Then there was joy and happiness, I am beyond thrilled how this series turned out. I can’t wait to see what Bella Forrest has in stored for us next. I love the little bit of romance she touched in this one with some of the characters and look forward to more. Seeing how the couples come together and fall in love. There has been so much turmoil in their lives they deserve some much needed happiness. Thank you Bella Forrest for such an exciting and exhilarating adventure, I wouldn’t know what to do without my Shade books. Looking forward to many more, sincerely one of your biggest fans.

This has been an amazing season 9. The conclusion has every character that I've come to love since book one. Every character is affected by the Hermessi one way or another. Tae has everything that is needed to stop the hermessi except Death. I could feel the emotions that every character was experiencing. Bella has brought this amazing season to an exciting conclusion. She even gave a little hit as to what will happen in Season 10.
If you have not started reading A Shade of Vampire, you need to start reading book 1 now.

A crazy rollercoaster of intense emotions 🤯
OMG, I cried so much with this book, both: from sadness and from happiness... I felt so much thought every chapter, my heart is still sore of such intense feelings... Love, love, love this season ending... Can't believe Bella keeps surprising me, with that beautiful mind of hers, I really think she is our of this world, maybe from The Shade? 🤔... Amazing, awesome, phenomenal, there is not enough words to describe this book... And the best part, is that ASOV continues!!!... ASOV 77

Bella Forrest has had me addicted since book 1. It’s amazing how the characters have grown. How we keep meeting new people from all dimensions but still the originals are included. That Novak family is huge. Add in the Novaliks and just WOW! To the author: All of your books are phenomenal. I can read 2 ASOV books a day if I let myself. Thanks for being fantastical and down to earth.

When a new bella forrest book comes out i never even need to read the blurb, i know i will enjoy it! This end-of-series book has been no exception! I raced through it with all of the usual enthusiam & worry over my favorite chatacters. And i was not let down.

This book took me through so many emotions. From start to finish I was hooked. Ive not been so unsure of an ending as I was with this one. Would the hermeissi wipe everything out, would they find death? Would this be the final ever book in the shade. To find out I recommend reading today. You won't be disappointed, but have tissues.

Great series

I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I am glad that everything worked out for them and they were able to bring back all the Fae that were killed during this ritual and happy that new friends and love interest. Can't wait to see what will happen next especially for the daywalking theory for the vampires.

My gosh book 77. When is she going to let this series die? She just keeps going. Is there and end in sight? The amount of books it takes her to do a season 9 she could have done in 2/3. I hate that I’m not a quitter and I just can’t not read the rest. All of her books are like this. I look forward to the series ending for good.

Incredible Fantasy Series!


In the last two months I have read ASOV # 1 through #77. I was caught up in the series with the first book and cannot get enough of it. The characters come alive, the planet's are visible and the story keeps you guessing to the very end. If you like vampire stories, you need to read Bella Forrest!

Death and Life

So the all powerful Death, isn’t as powerful as they thought, or is she??? Tereal the future Reaper and Hermessi child has more gifts then anyone thought.
