Second chance love is the theme that prolific author Sharon C. Cooper cleverly features in UNPLANNED LOVE, the fourth book of the Jenkins & Sons Construction Series. Meet Liam Jenkins and Charlee Fenlon, who were previously engaged, but the engagement was broken due to some untimely work choices that caused friction between the two lovers. When the story opens, Charlee receives some upsetting news from her father, the Founder and CEO of Fenlon Manufacturing. Fenlon, where Charlee is Director of Operations, produces construction materials and has a long-standing association with Jenkins & Sons Construction.
As in most family series, the outstanding side characters are the family members who appear to offer advice and a listening ear. So it is as Jenkins’ family members fulfill their roles of helping to move the story along. I especially liked the best friends relationship between Rayne Jenkins and Charlee. One of the best scenes in the book involves Liam’s cousin, Royce Garrison, Liam and Charlee. You’ll get that when you read the story.
The HEA is a wonderful ending to this engaging second chance love story. I enjoy the Jenkins’ family books, and I recommend UNPLANNED LOVE for your reading pleasure.
Liam and Charlee made an excellent pair. Liam always struck me as a decisive player... You know, he knew what he wanted. When Charlee broke into his sphere, it was game on for them. It's always nice to see how this author parlayed the Jenkins family storyline into a franchise series. Each addition is extra dope. Liam's story added to that mystic. A well written romantic suspense.

I chose to wait and read this series in order, so I patiently waited for all of them to come out so that I could read all of them at once. I hope that there will be more to come of this family. Also I hope that Royce will find a love of his own! I enjoyed Liam and Charlees love just wish Liam wasnt soo stubborn about forgiving her in the begining knowing that he was in love all along. So glad they got to love each in the end. Now Kingslee needs another wife hes grieved long enough. Maybe him and Sumerras mom would be good together. Keep them coming. Looking forward to the next
Thank you for letting us know that everyone can find love the family, tne drama, the forgiveness. That letting me know things cam change with family sometimes it takes time. I pray one day Royce find true love and they can forgive each other. I've read others of your bools, I was just so anxious tp get to tje next book I haven't always left a review will start doing better.
Another Jenkins Family hit! We finally get to hear Liam's story after only a mention of him in previous books and a small appearance in Jerry & Rayne's story. Liam and Charlee were given a second chance at love and were determined to make it this time around. Liam had to overcome is wall of hurt that he built up and masked as anger and Charlee was just the one to tear down that stubborn wall. Charlee had issues she had to deal with as well....this time her actions had to speak louder than her words. When it looked like being spontaneous was going to shatter their HEA, these two really dug in and proved just what this second chance meant to them both!!! I always love to hear from others is the family (yay to hear from Peyton), but a Jenkins Family book is not the same without an appearance from my BFF, Martina (MJ) Jenkins-Kendricks!!! If you have not met this big, crazy family, you're in for a treat!
I've read all of the books in this series Jenkins and son construction, and totally enjoyed every one of her books As for Liam and Charlee ,they have never lost the love they found, Charles just had to get her priority right. Liam knew he'd love her he was hurt ,and whenever he see her his heart hurt from the love and hurt he felt for her. She knew she was wrong.. for letting him walk away from her. Either gave up on that love
Liam is the strong silent type. He is a introvert but he loves with his whole heart. This story is about loving the second time around putting the work in, compromising and prioritizing. Sharon Cooper you hit a homerun once again. I love the Jenkins Clan. I can't wait for the next one.
I always enjoy Sharon Coopers books and not just because she's from Cincinnati, but because her character's are real and relatable. The Jenkins family series have all been awesome reads and this one is no different. I'm so happy they got their second chance at love.
What a love Match from day one love Liam He's so want to please his wife. But one thing I will like to has Liam got a job. Charlee she's my girl, don't care about the consequences.glad everyone was happy fir them.
Another great love story from Sharon Cooper. Liam and Charlee have a second chance to get love right again if they can both admit to themselves that the love is still there. A chance encounter in New York changes both of their lives . Can they get it right this time.
Another page turner...I just could not get enough this book. The Jenkins Family will have you laughing, crying, and falling in love. I look forward to reading about this family.
This story hit home. I struggle with this with my husband all the time. We’ve been married for a while and many times I have to remind him that he’s spending to much time coaching😒
Liam and Charlee's story is one of redemption. Where you recognize the importance of forgiveness and not allowing pride and unforgiveness to keep you away. I think what sealed the story for me was the epilogue. It just showed what love can be when you trust the process and take the leap of faith. The conversation between Rayne and Charlee is what friendship is made of.
Liam is the quiet, compassionate, strong, loving protective introvert that dreams are made of.
Charlee is the free spirited, hard working, loyal, fun loving daring extrovert that shows why living your best life is important.
Together the opposites attract and bring out a love story that just keeps you smiling.
Been waiting for this since Jerry and Rayne’s story. Liam and Charlee were obviously meant to be. No need for an overly descriptive walk down memory lane. We were given just enough to move forward with the present. I don’t know where this author keeps digging up these Jenkins family members but I pray she never runs out. Keep writing about them and connecting the dots at the Sunday dinners
So Liam and his former love/fiancee Charlee meet up because Liam's cousin is now married to Charlee's best friend. For a minute it seemed as if Liam would not give Charlee the time of day since she previously put her career before their relationship causing him to break off the engagement and walk away angry and determined to keep his heart on lock. Liam soon finds out that what he planned and what ended up happening was two different things. It took a while for his hurt and anger to be replaced with the knowledge that he still loved Charlee just as she still loved him. Finally they put the pain, hurt and anger aside, admitted their continued love for each other and moved toward securing their happily ever after. A really great story that I enjoyed immensely.
I love the Jenkins family I just wasn't too crazy about Liam and Charlee's story. I'm glad that they came together it worked everything out it wasn't what I expected though.
I love anything written by Sharon C Cooper This book was great because I wanted to know what happened with these two. It was great to see them find their way back to each other along with updates on the family members from previous stories.
This is why I thank God for second chances, thirds and fourths because it gives a chance to correct, mature and grow. Sometimes one or all three are a must in life to go forth to be pro or successful. I definitely agree that opposites certainly do attract and Liam and Charley are definitely that, OPPOSITES. O Great ride down Lover's Lane. Nice! ReneeG 👍
A great story, Sharon showed the vulnerability of a strong Alpha male and stubbornness of an independent woman. Loved the story, even though Liam and Charlee both work my last nerve.
I fell in love with the Jenkins family all over again. I'm glad that Liam and Charlee gave their relationship another chance especially since the mad, passionate love was still there. I like how they're so different but complete each other. It was good that Royce finally apologized to Liam but I don't see them ever being close again understandably. I'm glad that they gave Kingslee the opportunity to walk Charlee down the isle and she had Rayne right by her side. This book really shows that real love never dies.
This book was a sweet story about second chances and you can’t plan love or your lives. As John Lennon says, life is what happens when you’re busy making plans. I throughly enjoyed this story and finished it within a few hours.
Unplanned Love is a whirlwind of emotions that only Sharon C Cooper can provide. Charlee and Liam's story is everything you would expect from the Jenkins series. I can't wait to see who's next.
Liam and Charlee’s attraction to one another was jumping off the pages. I love the Jenkins family closeness and how they support each other no matter what. Liam going all out for a second chance with Charlee was so sweet. Kudos to Sharon C. Cooper on another awesome Jenkins family book.
This was a great story! I loved watching Liam & Charlee find their way back to each other. One of the best things about this story is the realistic way Ms. Cooper showed that even when you seemingly have your HEA, your problems and issues don't magically disappear. They still have to be dealt with. Beautiful story about second chance love!
Loved, loved, loved catching up with the Jenkins clan. Excited that the mystery was finally solved concerning Liam and Charlee and their seemingly dislike of each other! Relished how this book touched on the intricacies of balancing love & one's desire for success. Now we just have to delve more into this Royce character🤔....
